Dara blinked as the light hit her face. Some people seem busy passing by, the refuge is that noisy.
The woman turned her head and found Jay still asleep in a sitting position. Last night, Jay asked to wake up early because he had to go back to Seattle.
"Jay, wake!" Dara shakes her husband's shoulder.
The man woke up while yawning. His face looks good. Jay is handsome in any circumstance.
"Need to shower?" ask Dara. Jay shakes.
"It's a long queue, I can be late on the bus" Jay replied.
The man then prepared, he just gargled and washed his face. The items were not how prepared to be brought since last night.
Dara escorts Jay to the stop, both of whom are currently sitting at the stop waiting for the bus which may be coming in about half an hour.
"How are you feeling?" ask Jay.
Dara smiled. "It's better. Don't worry," he answered.
Jay asks the same question every few minutes. Noah's departure is indeed a very deep wound both for Dara and Jay.
Although Jay is not Noah's real father, they already have good memories even though they are short.
"At least Noah will no longer feel suffering in the world" said Dara.
Jay's breathing stopped in his throat, he looked up at Dara who was now looking up at the sky. Yes, Jay remembers how Dara made him remember God back then.
Jay may have left the church since setting foot on American soil, he had never even prayed before. But thanks to Dara, Jay does the routine again. That's what makes Jay again feel the real meaning of family for him. Family is a place to complain to lighten the burden, they are also an energy that can strengthen each other.
He did get to know the concept at the time when Bill started taking care of him. Jay is even very fond of his adoptive father, although Bill's treatment often makes Jay feel depressed for decades.
"I'll bring my uncle here next week" Jay said.
"I thought you'd need a father figure to calm you down" Jay replied. He grabbed Dara's hand and held it. "I know it must be very hard for you to lose Noah. I feel that way too, but my uncle always counsels me and it makes me feel better."
"Yes, I want to see your only family left." Dara smiled, along with her who was holding back the water droplets that forced out through the defensive wall of her eyes.
"Well, I promise I'll bring my uncle here" Jay said.
The bus that was waiting came. Jay immediately walked in and waved his hand from the window at Dara. The woman smiled and returned the wave of the hand.
After the bus vanished from his sight, Dara began sobbing out tears that he had been holding back since so.
It was still unthinkable about Archi's previous talk. Jay was still silent and wouldn't tell me where he worked.
"Until when are you gonna hide it from me, Jay?"
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Betrice looked at pity, the woman sitting in front of her. A partition made of glass separated him from the visitor who was still sobbing, trying to speak properly.
"Noah... Betrice... Noah, he's dead..." The dotted speech was finally broken.
The woman is Dara, she thinks that she should tell Betrice about this. They were very close before. Betrice just cried in response to that, she could not say anything at the moment.
Betrice recalls the events of a few months ago, events that completely changed her life to throw her behind bars.
"Become... You asked me once, did I really kill that kid..."
Dara immediately turned her gaze to Betrice who was now also sobbing. "Yes..."
"I'm..." The woman tried to stop her. "....not doing it."
