Eps. 235 — Short Meeting
A sudden meeting was held at the headquarters of the Sky Cloud Temple which was attended by three people, Besides Guo Zhenxa as the leader he also invited two of his four pillars, Muo Yu and Huang Zhang.
"Sister Lin has been killed, he was killed while running errands to the Star Empire..." Guo Zhengxa gave a statement at the meeting.
Muo Yu was startled while Huang Zhang raised his eyebrows upon hearing such news, not they expected Guo Zhengxa to give the two any bad news.
Muo Yu who first spoke, "Who killed Sister Lin, there should only be a few people who can defeat let alone kill her in the martial world?"
Guo Zhengxa shook her head slowly. "The martial world is vast and there are many powerful warriors in hiding. From the information I heard there was a group of organizations that killed Sister Lin..."
Guo Zhengxa explained that not only was Lin Ran killed but the organization of the Skull Mountain that they were about to join the alliance was also destroyed.
"The group that was in the Star Empire was named the Night Shadow Organization, a new group that formed several years ago, I heard they were surrounding the Skull Mountain headquarters so that none of them would survive..."
Muo Yu put on a disheveled expression while Huang Zhang sighed, both of them had not expected such a thing to happen.
The Skull Mountain Organization was a strong candidate to join the Sky Cloud Temple Alliance, their crime was famous everywhere all the way to the Moon Empire.
They did not think that the organization would simply disappear when they wanted to recruit.
"Chairman Guo, we mustn't let Sister Lin just die, anyone who offends the Sky Cloud Temple will regret it all his life!" Muo Yu clenched his hands hard.
"Since when do you care about Sister Lin, aren't you guys hostile?" Huang Zhang who had heard from earlier furrowed his brows at Muo Yu's reaction.
Muo Yu snorted, "I do hate that young grandmother's woman but that doesn't mean I don't care, at least if she dies, I should kill her."
Huang Zhang slightly did not understand Muo Yu's words but he did not discuss any further.
"The matter of Lin Ran's death is indeed very unfortunate, he has many relations with criminal organizations outside the empire but for now the Sky Cloud Temple also has its own business..."
The alliance that the Sky Cloud Temple formed had already opened its wings to the other three empires, nearly 70% had already joined them while the rest were still in the recruitment process.
Lin Ran might not be the strongest swordsman in this alliance but that woman had already joined them for quite a long time so it was a pity to hear that the Eternal Snow leader was killed.
Guo Zhengxa reminded Muo Yu that they would overcome the problems that existed in the Moon Empire first before taking control of the martial world as a whole.
After three years had passed since they attacked the Imperial Palace which ended in failure, Guo Zhengxa did many things to fulfill his ambition one of which was to gather many allies then secondly attack the Nobles Family for the government's power to be weak.
It was no secret that the current Empire government was making alliances with sects and clans to fight against criminal organizations.
Huang Zhang sighed. "I did manage to destroy the noble family's place with our alliance army but to kill its leader was two different things."
Huang Zhang was the leader who was given the order to destroy the Xi Family, with the thousands of troops he brought himself managed to destroy the family but he failed to kill Xi Kai and the rest of the Xi Family.
Xi Kai confronted his opponent's forces alone, although Huang Zhang had inflicted serious injuries on the Xi Family leader but he was not satisfied to watch Xi Kai escape from him.
"The old man used a secret trick in order to escape, if I had known about it in the first place I might have killed him three times back then!" Huang Zhang clenched his hands hard, he was still annoyed by the incident.
"There's no need to think any further, at least the Xi Family has been destroyed now." Guo Zhengxa calmed Huang Zhang down. "Rather than that how about the jade we were aiming for earlier."
"Xi Kai seems to have found out that we were also aiming for the jade before the attack, he gave one of his family to run away but rest assured I already knew the place where the jade would be anchored which was the Chu clan."
Guo Zhengxa frowned, slightly surprised as this signified that the Chu clan had a good relationship with the Xi Royal Family.
Huang Zhang then explained that he had made a large army to attack the Chu clan and that the army was heading to the target location.
"If Chief Guo is not pleased, I am sending five warriors of the Light Realm to attack the Chu clan along with thousands of troops, the one who leads that army is Yin Gubei, who is the leader of the army, the Organization Leader of the famous Earth Empire."
Guo Zhengxa stroked his chin, he had indeed allowed the four pillars of the Sky Cloud Temple to lead the alliance that he formed, Guo Zhengxa had not expected Huang Zhang to make such a big decision by attacking a famous clan.
Although the Sky Cloud Temple alliance had become an extremely powerful and feared group yet they were never rash, their every action had a mature calculation especially when starting its name a battle.
The Chu Clan was a powerful clan whose strength did not differ much from the Xi Family, attacking them would take a lot of casualties from both sides and Guo Zhengxa most disliked wanting such to happen.
"Chairman Guo, I understand my decision this time is a little rushed but if we want that jade, we have to sacrifice what we have." Huang Zhang was aware of Guo Zhengxa's worries.
Guo Zhengxa sighed. "Alright Brother Huang, I hope this plan of attacking the Chu clan ends satisfactorily, not only destroying the clan but also obtaining the heavenly fruit tracer jade."
Huang Zhang nodded, promising to bring the head of the Chu clan leader Chu Guyu as a result of the attack.
Huang Zhang was very confident that the attack would be successful especially with the presence of Yin Gubei who was the leader of the army that attacked the Chu clan.
Although he did not intervene in the attack this time but he was confident, the army led by Yin Gubei would succeed in conquering the Chu clan.
Guo Zhengxa was actually not interested in attacking the Chu clan, what he pictured right now was that Xi Family jade.
