“You look fresher,” Praise Lala.

I looked again at my appearance in the mirror, it looked different, more alive. It seemed like my decision was right enough to cut my hair to the shoulder, add bangs, and slightly wave at the ends.

“After where you want to go, Keiy?”

“I want to go to the glasses shop,” I replied while standing from the chair.

Lala who was busy photographing herself in front of the mirror, turned her head. “You bought glasses?”

I replied with a nod.

“You minus?”

“Ngak. I'm gonna buy glasses without a minus. With hair now I think it is suitable to wear glasses.” Suddenly I thought like that. My appearance over these five years has not changed, with long hair straight to waist and no bangs. I don't want people reminding me how I used to look. And I'm a little sorry, why didn't I do it a long time ago.

“It looks like it fits,” timpal Lala who scanned my face closely.

“You want to come or how?”

Lala glanced at the clock on her wrist. “Like no, I went straight home. I have an appointment to watch my girlfriend.”

“Oke La, be careful on the road and happy have fun yes.”

“But tomorrow so meet Mas Abram?”

This time I answered without thinking. I really want to change my life. Meeting Mas Abram might be the first step. “Iya. In the second-floor cafe, right?”

“OK. Sip.” Lala showed her thumb. “Let's meet you there.”

“Until you meet tomorrow,” I replied before heading to the cashier.

The twilight had just turned dark. But this move seemed reluctant to go home. Since leaving the eyeglass shop, I have been walking around the pedestrian lane, enjoying the hustle and bustle of driving that cuts through the streets, until I am quite a long time in the city park. I was sitting on a stone bench that was deliberately placed there. These lips continue to be flattened wide, even though there is no funny incident. I just really enjoyed the usual scenery in this park, like children running around or a mother who was feeding her children food.

“Away home, Ma'am?” ask the woman in a light blue casual dress who introduced her name as Amila. He came to this park with his two four-year-old twins who are now playing a romp.

“Iya Ma'am. I miss my son,” I replied with a big smile.

Amila looked surprised. “I think Ma'am Keiysa is not married yet, because he looks so young. Did Miss Keiysa get married young?”

I didn't say it and said goodbye. There was nothing to explain as we had only met for the first time. I stopped by the toy store before going to that abandoned house. Seeing the children in the park, I missed El. I haven't visited him in a long time either.

Perhaps to people, the abandoned house looks creepy, like haunted houses. But for those of me who are used to it, that place is where I go home. Even though my father had a magnificent house and various facilities, not once did I feel like home. I am so grateful that I finally got out of there.

“Hai El, are you looking at mama now?”

Silent. Calm. There was only the sound of grass swaying in the wind.

“Mama today haircut. Does your mom look pretty?” I combed my short hair. “Mama deliberately cut her hair so that Mama can vent. Mom wants to find happiness. Mama doesn't want to be overwhelmed by this fear anymore. You will support—” Suddenly a car stopped beside me, I spontaneously turned my head.

I tried to examine his dimly obstructed appearance, because there were only dim street lights. Not many people have cars that know me, other than Mas Yudi and my father's family. And my eyes immediately glared when I realized who the figure was. My chest is also pounding.

I took a breath and took it out. Repetitively. Its alright. It's okay Keisya. I'm trying to suggest myself.

“Why are you here?” Devian looked at the abandoned house in front of us, then stared with a frown. He also noticed my appearance. “You just finished working at Aji Mart and want to go home?” dugup.

“I-Yes,” I replied after once again taking a breath and exhaling.

“Where is your house? Let me drive you home,” bargain Devian.

My head quickly shook. “Ndon't need. I-I can go home by myself.”

“But it's night and here it looks silent.”

“I'm used to.”

“Faster when I drop by car.”

“No. T-no need,” said I immediately turned around and moved away.

Although my appearance has changed, my body's reaction is still the same. This body was still trembling in fear and flashes of events that day kept appearing in my head. My steps, which had only been in a hurry, had now turned into a small run. I'm afraid that Devian is following me. Fortunately, it was just my mind. When I turned my head because I felt that I was far enough away from the abandoned house, I found no one. I also did not hear the car. I let out a sigh of relief.

Once again I noticed my appearance in the mirror, making sure that my appearance was neat and polite enough. Today I decided to wear a knee-length casual dress adorned with a small waistband. An hour ago, Lala called, making sure I didn't forget about Mas Abram's appointment. From Lala's explanation, Mas Abram saw a picture of me on Instagram in Lala's post, and he insisted to be known. Initially Lala refused, given my fairly closed attitude and did not want to be approached. But fed up with being forced, Lala was forced to agree.

In the Second Floor Cafe this looks quite crowded. But I could easily find the position of Lala and Mas Abram who were not too far from the entrance. Moreover, Lala vigorously waved her hand when she saw me.

“This is Abram Keiy. Bull, right?” lala said after I stood in front of them.

Mas Abram's face was red. He extended a hand. “Abram.”

“Keiysa,” reply.

“Sit here Keiy,” Lala said as she led me to face Mas Abram.

“What message do you want? Let me order it to the cashier.”

“What's good, La?” I said ask for recommendations. This is my first time coming to this cafe.

“Here Spaghetti Delicious Bolognese, Keiy,” replied Mas Abram.

“If the drink, Mas?”

“Ice Lychee Tea,” now Lala's answering.

I nodded my head. “I order that only.”

“I'm also the same La,” added Mas Abram.

Lala got up from her chair. “OK, I'm going to the cashier now. You guys please chat first.”
