Love, Life, and Jennifer

Love, Life, and Jennifer
I'm sorry, Mike...

We have arrived at my house.

And it turns out, both my parents, weren't there!

"Same mom hasn't come home yet, mbak." Mbo' Minah said as I asked my parents, as soon as Young Joon and I had just arrived.

Waw! This is a surprise!

"Alright, I think you're very tired today, so I'd better go home now. After all, there are no parents now." Young Joon said

"Hmmm... Alright, careful..." I answered, then drove her.

When he had just touched the car door, Young Joon fell silent, then walked up to me.

"What's wrong?" I said to him who was standing before me.

He pulled something out of his pants pocket.

"How many cell phone numbers are you?" His words look at my face.

"Ah... Th-that's..." I immediately mentioned my mobile number,

Young Joon immediately recorded it on his phone, then smiled.

"Thank you, I'll go home first, yeah... Take care of yourself." He said then passed.

I was still standing in front of my house, even after a few minutes Young Joon left.

I keep remembering what happened today.

The sincere face of aunt Ji Hyo, the happy face of all who witnessed me wearing a wedding dress, and... Cellphone's ringing.

I immediately grabbed her, and stared at her screen for a moment before I answered the call.

"Yes, Mike." Answer me across here, then walk towards my house.

"Didn't you say you'd call me a few hours ago?" Mike sounded upset across there.

I immediately opened the door of my room, and closed it, when I had entered it, and decided to stand behind the window, hoping nature would give me a clue on how to keep me from feeling guilty when telling Mike about everything.

"I'm sorry, Mike... I'm busy today." Answer me across here.

"Are you still busy, right now?" Said Mike.

I smiled, staring blankly outwards.

"I was just about to call you." I answered, smiling bitterly.

"Jenny, is something wrong?" Mike seemed to realize something across there.

I didn't answer the question right away, until Mike asked me the same question again.

"Jenny, tell me, what happened?! Is there anything that sa..."

"Yes, Mike!" I immediately interrupted Mike's words.

"Tell me, what happened?!" Mike sounded very worried across there.

I really feel tight here, my eyes start to tear up hearing his words earlier.

"Mike..." I can no longer hold back my tears.

"Jenny, tell me, what happened! Jenny.." - Jenny..."

"Our relationship is wrong, Mike!" I screamed while sobbing. Mike nodded at my words.

"Mike, I'm sorry..." I'm roaring here

"What's wrong with you?" Mike's voice rang out across the street.

And I tried so hard to control myself that I could continue my words.

"Mike... I'm getting married..." I'm lirih.

A moment of silence, until...

"Are you pranking me?" I can hear Mike laughing across the street.

My tears flowed back, hearing his response.

"Mike, I swear, I'm not bragging! I'm getting married next month..." I then cried hysterically.

Mike went back, and...

"Jenny, if this is a joke, it's not funny at all!"

The call was interrupted suddenly, just after Mike said so.

I was crying all over here.

There is pain in my heart!

Wasn't it! It's not that I'm afraid my relationship with Mike is going to end, it's just that I'm afraid Mike's doing something silly there!

My phone rang again, I immediately answered the call without paying attention to the screen.

"Mike, mom..."

"Jenny, aren't you asleep?" Greet someone across there.

I immediately stared at my phone screen.

Number not known!

"Who is this?" I said

"Hey! I'm Joon! Park Young Joon!" Answer the man across there.

I immediately smothered my mouth, then slightly pulled the hair that was at the top of my head.

"W-how can you... Ohhhhhh!" I pulled my hair even tighter!

How could I forget!

Didn't I just give her my phone number a while ago?

"Jenny, are you okay?" Young Joon sounded worried across the street.

My tears are flowing again.

"I-i..." My crying broke again

"Jenny, did something happen to you?" Young Joon's voice is soft across the street.

I went back to crying here.

Young Joon is silent, but does not close this call. He was still there, hearing the sobbing for the sake of the sobbing that came out of my mouth.

I didn't even realize how long I'd been sobbing, but Young Joon didn't even close this call.

He was silent a thousand languages, without asking what made me like this, and remained faithful to hear my sobbing that somehow lasted, until finally the sound of knocking on my bedroom door, teased me.

I immediately controlled myself to at least be able to stop sobbing, even if only for a moment.

I immediately walked towards the door, shortly after wiping off my tears.

And when I opened the door to my room, I looked up at the figure standing there...

Park Young Joon's!

He stood up, with his hand still holding the phone in his ear!

I smothered my mouth in disbelief.

Young Joon looked at me pityingly, and immediately put his phone in his pants pocket, then walked towards me then...

Call me... Eraaat...

It made me spill all my pain there... Yep! I cried in Young Joon's arms!

...****************...

"So Mike called me..." I said with a blank look.

I don't know for sure how Young Joon's face looked when I said that, because right now, I'm still immersed in my sadness.

Only, he seemed to prefer silence, instead of being curious, as usual.

"I told him I was getting married." I looked towards him.

"What do you think? "Say me while smiling bitterly.

Young Joon looks at me with his shady gaze, then smiles.

"How's the response?" Young Joon said calmly.

I did not answer it immediately, and preferred to turn my face towards the birdcage located in the corner of my backyard.

I sighed, then smiled, then looked at Young Joon's face.

"He doesn't believe." My answer.

Young Joon seemed to think, before he finally said...

"Are you feeling overwhelmed by this marriage?" Young Joon's face was very serious when he said that.

The question this time was really raining down on my heart.

To be honest, I don't feel burdened by this marriage.

I agreed to this marriage not just because of grandma's request, because after all grandma doesn't require me to marry Young Joon.

I approved of this marriage, also because of my own curiosity.

To be honest, actually Young Joon was my first love! Yep! I loved him when we went to the same school.

I thought it was just monkey love!

But that love lasted long enough in my heart, until finally Mike became my lover.

Nah! This is not because Mike managed to get me to get Young Joon out of my heart!

It's just that, I don't even know for sure, how I feel about Young Joon right now!

I was so disinclined when she was around me, and yet so missed her when she wasn't with me.

Missed it?! Wasn't it! Not that kind of miss, but...

"What about you?" Ask him.

Young Joon was stunned to hear my question earlier.

He frowned, then grabbed both of my hands, then grasped them tightly.

His eyes now look me in the deep.

Young Joon took a deep breath, then slowly avoided her.

"I'll feel burdened, if you feel burdened..." Sincerely speaking.

I could feel the heat on my cheeks, and the pain in my eyes from holding back tears.

Young Joon sighed again, and looked towards our hands.

"If you don't want this fishery..." Young Joon looked back at my face.

"I will not force... I'll talk to my parents, and explain to me..."

"Young Joon, I..."

"Waaahhh.... There's Young Joon here!" Papa and mama suddenly came, came up to us, and immediately smiled a little, so realizing that we were holding hands.

I immediately removed my hand from Young Joon's hand, then stood facing Papa, as well as Young Joon.

He paid his respects to my mom and dad.

"You guys have arrived?" Young Joon said politely.

Papa smiled at him, then patted Young Joon on the shoulder.

"Yeah! We need to get everything done as soon as possible." Papa said to Young Joon, then looked at me.

Papa realized something was wrong with me, then walked up to me, then grabbed my face with both hands.

"Jenny's crying, huh?" Papa looks worried, looking at my face.

I smiled, then shook my head faintly.

"No ko' pa, I was..."

"She was moved when she heard me say that she looked so beautiful in her wedding dress."

Young Joon suddenly approached us, and interrupted my words.

My father and I turned to him, and even Papa frowned.

"Really, son?" Ask Papa to look back at my face.

I turned towards Young Joon, and Young Joon gestured for me to agree.

I looked back at Papa's face, then nodded with doubt.

Papa smiled gently, then gently stroked my hair, then gently kissed my forehead.

"Uncle, it turns out that this fierce daughter of yours, has a very soft heart, yes!" Young Joon said with a smile, then we all laughed.

Yes, I laughed as I kept staring at Young Joon's face. Young Joon realized that, then smiled at me.
