Love Disease's

Love Disease's
Chapter 2's

The ten-square-meter room with lilac color wall paint became where Leona secured herself from the boisterousness of life. While checking incoming emails from one of New York's top fashion houses, Leona sat leaning against the arm of a sofa with two knees bent. His meticulous eyes read the collaboration plea. He who is fairly newbie in the world of fashion, is very honored to have been trusted and awarded the opportunity to flap the wings even wider. His mood was as bright as a cloud, and he continued to unravel a beaming smile.

Familiar footsteps tapping the granite floor split the void. Then there was the sound of the door opening and presenting a man dressed in navy shirt with long black pants. The smell of the thick millennial man is smelled when his figure has stood facing the glass wall that is right on his side. One file from the creative director was submitted following his announcement of a collection of bags and shoes that will be officially released next month. Leona just nodded and handed the business to her assistant.

“You have checked the invitation from Greizz?”

Leona opened the second sheet containing the latest draft. “Ya, just now. Please arrange our meeting, yes. Lately I've been busy.”

“Isn't fashion week still next September?”

“True.” Leona pulled high up the corners of her lips, accompanied by blue eyes that looked at the confused man there. “I have a much more important thing than work. I even fought for it between life and death.” Breathing out, Leona again threw a glance at the sketch papers. “Dean, have you ever fought for someone who didn't love you?”

“No.”

Leona. “Do you not have someone you love?”

“Hm. It was ... there was, but, hm.”

Glancing at Dean's agitated gesture and mouth gasping, Leona felt odd. “You why? Did my question offend you, Dean?”

Hurriedly the man clipped his flap hair shook his head. “No, Miss.”

“Oh. Well, sorry if your love story is that bad.” Leona tried not to care even though she was a curious person. He won't plunder territory if he's not allowed to. “I've loved so much over the years, too, but she said she couldn't return my feelings. Why would he be so honest with me, Dean?”

The expression of a demon that is thrown like a foreign particle entering the eye that causes immeasurable pain. Leona loves whole. But he forgot his pain was unrequited like half a life.

“You mean, Mr Felix?”

In her bitter smile, Leona nodded. “He turned me down yesterday. Is that the bad I was in his eyes? It's true that I was ugly. But now I've changed. I did everything I could for her to make her turn to me. Butwhat? He didn't look at me at all. What's my cage? Aren't I prettier than Jessica, Dean?”

Leona has no other world than Felix since she was left alone in the darkest corner. At that time Leona only had one light that was as pure as heart reaching out to her. Perhaps, Felix forgot to ever give him a warmth in a day when the rain erased the twilight to complete. Or, the man did not recognize her identity as Leona, the girl with two braids.

The forgetfulness is evident when they meet again in the same classroom. Felix the quiet student forgot about himself. Detective Leona's raw soul is awakened by the mysterious Felix. So wherever the hazel-eyed went, Leona followed, hoping that the man would remember her at some point. But free. Even if he jumps up to be willing to sit on the back bench for the sake of alignment, it does not wake the cyborg from forgetting memory.

Miraculously, he and Felix had a similar fate; so the students were estranged. No one is willing to be friends with Felix the anti-social and Leona the less social. Their uniqueness is equivalent to inviting class mates in droves to match them because it looks harmonious. Leona who had not since when began to fall in love with the polar prince, felt excited instead of braids. But unfortunately, Felix thinks it's just a guyonan.

Imaji the colorful story of her school days like a rainbow, implicating a blushing smile on the cheeks. It's been more than a decade, but Felix's cold face is still kept cool. Leona glanced at a quarter-century young man who had yet to change position.

“Dean.” His sharp eyes highlighted firmly the entity across. “Please help me. Help me destroy Felix more broken than this. He must be broken and broken. Must!” The published grin invaded, scratching the black and white contradictions. “I'll make him beg me,” he said cynically.

“But, Miss ...” Gambang dean. His body was paddling yet trembling. Wanting to prevent not daring, let alone not enough guts. “It's dangerous. You can get entangled in the law if caught.”

Leona raised her shoulders. “For what to think of it, I am innocent.”

Dean's warning is ignored. Leona is a pragmatic man who hates convolutions. He was more satisfied with the instant way and quickly resolved. So he refused to back down. Already in the middle of the battlefield with the attributes of war, there was no way he would turn around the body. Abstinence for him to give up without bringing ghanimah. The original target was to conquer the fugitive. That's why he will survive.

“Oh, Ben. You're not coming home?”

The youngest among his friends was vague, like an idiot who had no money to go home. “Chef, do you know why I want to work with you?”

“You have a reason for that?”

The young man nodded. “It's hard not to admit my admiration for you. Amongst all the people, you are the best. You can be a family and friends at once. Maybe this sounds cringe, but I'm not lying.”

Felix looked at Ben with a frown. “You want to tell me something?”

Ben showed something else. Felix who is easy to guess only through the motions had guessed first. This week the restaurant is back in operation. Although only a handful of people came, but it had made him grateful rather than empty at all. Felix wasn't deaf every time the rumors of the officers milled. His pessimistic soul was disturbed and gradually became anarchist. He understood how the bad day came and almost tore it up here and there. Not yet widespread deficit problems, born one more burden that almost manifests depression. And Ben's heartfelt words sound ironic.

“I'm not comfortable saying this. But I am only a proletarian who has to support my family. I will survive if things return to how they were. I'm really sorry, Chef.”

That confession was enough to make Felix understand. He is not an egocentric human being who does not think about the well-being of others. Giving confidence may not be effective. They, especially Timothy, have been very loyal to him. No one left when he fell at the most ravine point, even Tim handed over the inheritance of the family land for him in order to pay the penalty. The penalty of dropping out of a TV show that raised his name became popular was highly unpredictable. But Felix did not let Tim bet assets for a fine of a percentage of royalties.

Felix's mind has been deadlocked. In some time, he took antidepressant drugs to stay sane. Only, his shadow was directed at Leona. His instincts say, only the girl is able to unravel all the hassles that shackle. The problem is, Felix does not have savings anymore to pay off all the whiny teetek that is increasingly spilling. Lucky he has shares that are not small. If he could face Leona with confidence and include his intention to sell his last fortune. So after going through the night without sleep, here he was, sitting opposite Leona in the blue room tosca.

“What is it?”

The girl glanced at a map that Felix had placed on the table.

“Contract file for purchase of investment stocks.” Speech ceased. Felix watched for a moment Leona's ever calm face. “It used to be me and Mr. Mayor who made it. Because now he is busy taking care of the government, I propose this to you.”

Leona. Although he had guessed Felix's presence long before today, he had to pretend not to know. “You mean you want to sell it to me again?”

“Yes. For now you're the only one I can trust.”

If he could, Felix would rather be in direct contact with Mr. Collins, the original shareholder. Unfortunately, the situation is not supportive. After a successful election last year, Edward Collins never had the time. All Felix had in mind right now was saving the fine dining restaurant he managed for almost two years, not to mention the one Michelin Star he had to keep. It is not easy to reach this stage. Whatever he's going to do, even though he's finally going to have to give up shares. Any other business, whether it was Leona's ridiculous terms, she could think of it later.

“The shares have indeed been handed over to me. It's not a big deal. I can take care of it right away. But you know, right, I'm not doing this for free? You remember, I have marriage terms?”

Felix took a deep breath. There were times when he wanted to punch Leona's arrogant face and make her angry. The girl always managed to sink the opponent's mentality to the bottom of the ocean. But making a fuss during such an urgent condition will only add to the burden. So, instead of serving, Felix chose to agree.

“Yes. Let's get married.”

“Wow, seriously? So you've already surrendered yourself to me?”

For God's sake. Why does it sound like I sold my soul to the devil?

“OK. As soon as our wedding ceremony is finished with the purchase of shares.” The corners of Leona's lips were attracted high. “I'm so happy.”

Felix closed in, taking a deep breath. To be honest, Leona's sweet smile actually ignites her stomach acid rising dramatically to the base of the throat and resulting in an unbearable vomiting.
