Mysterious Enemies

"Who are they?" elyna was confused. The woman saw clearly some gunmen who now wanted to shoot her.

"Of course." Dominic takes out a gun and gives it to Elyna. The man doesn't remember Elyna's amnesia.

Spontaneously Elyna accepted it. Even the way to hold it is also right because it is already commonplace he did. But still he looks awkward. "Why did you give it to me? How do I wear it?" Elyna's face was confused.

"Just hold. At least the weapon can protect you from danger" Dominic said. The man immediately grasped his own weapon and pointed it towards the people who wanted to harm them.

"My car is there. We have to make it to the car and get to the airport." Dominic looked forward again.

Elyna still did not understand the weapon in her grasp. The woman looked at him seriously. Even Dominic's words he doesn't listen to.

Elyna widened her eyes to see Dominic's left arm get shot. The woman panicked. "Dominic, you're hurt."

"It's just a small wound" Dominic denied. The man was actually in pain but he was unwilling to show it in front of Elyna. "Hurry to the car. I'll distract them."

Dominic stood up and left Elyna who was close to the position of the car.

Elyna looked again at the weapon in her hand. The woman picks him up slowly and whispers to one of the enemies now eyeing Dominic's life. When she wanted to shoot, Elyna felt pain. The woman took down the firearm again and looked at Dominic who was still seriously fighting.

"I'd better get in the car." Elyna got in the car. The woman sat inside and looked towards Dominic again. From a distance, a police car arrived. This made the enemies flee immediately. Dominic ran to the car and got in.

"Are you okay?" Elyna worries about Dominic's arm now covered in blood.

"We need to leave immediately. We're gonna be late." Regardless of his own injuries, Dominic starts the engine and drives it fast. Elyna could only stay in her position. The woman put down the firearm Dominic gave back and let out a long sigh.

Dominic also looked towards the rearview. But the man looked calm. "Hand!" he said before increasing the speed of the car to avoid enemies chasing them.

"Do you know them? Why do they intend to harm you?" ask Elyna at the end. Because the woman felt very curious and wanted to know what was really going on.

"Actually they are not after me, but are after your life" replied Dominic who was only brave in his heart. "I also don't know what their purpose is. In the business world this is called competition, maybe they want to kill me so that their rivals are reduced to one," Dominic replied.

"You didn't hire a bodyguard? Isn't your money a lot? You can pay people to protect you!" elyna protests.

"That's what I did. But they only exist in Las Vegas. I want to live a quiet life without bodyguards when I'm outside Las Vegas. I want to look like a regular guy. So there's no need to draw anyone's attention."

"Then if it happened like this. What are you gonna do? Can you face them alone?"

Dominic looked towards Elyna for a moment before focusing forward again. "We have to arrive at the airport on time" Dominic said before adding to the speed of his car even faster.

In the end Elyna and Dominic can breathe a sigh of relief when the car they are riding in arrives at the airport safely. They immediately went down and entered the airport. The car chasing them is no longer visible. A few policemen passing by in front of the airport kept Dominic a little quiet.

"Never be far from me!" Dominic clasps Elyna's hand. No matter what woman likes it or not.

"It seems like we don't have to worry anymore because there are police here" Elyna whispered as she stepped up.

"If your enemies are from the mafia as well then the police are no match for them. I'd better be alert and take Elyna to Las Vegas to protect her in peace" Dominic said. The man paid attention again to the circumstances around to prove there was nothing suspicious there.

Elyna held back her footsteps when she saw someone suspicious. The woman immediately stopped Dominic's move as well. "There. Looky. Their appearance is suspicious. Are they in cahoots with those who want to harm us?"

Dominic looked in the direction Elyna was heading. The man could now breathe with relief when he found out that Queen Star had arrived to protect them.
