Not Angry

Today Dominic was so busy he had to come home late. While stepping into the house, Dominic looks tangled and tired. Along the way he kept thinking about Elyna. They just made up. Dominic won't let Elyna get mad at him because he can't take Elyna to the casino tonight.

"I still have time to take Elyna to the Casino. I hope he's not angry with me. I was really busy today. I didn't expect the work to pile up as I kept putting it off" Dominic lamented as he walked.

Without changing clothes and bathing first, Dominic just headed to the room Elyna was in. Not yet in front of Elyna's room the man had again restrained his footsteps when he saw Elyna standing there with a meaningful gaze.

Dominic thinks that Elyna must be mad at him because he's home late. The man did not expect that actually Elyna wanted to discuss another matter that had absolutely nothing to do with the Casino.

"I'm sorry" Dominic said before Elyna became angry.

"You just got home?" Elyna's friendly tone actually makes Dominic confused. But the man felt a little relieved because Elyna was not immediately angry with him like last night.

"I've sent you the news but you didn't return my message. I've also prepared the car if you want to take a walk by yourself. Indeed today my work is so piled up that I can't go home early." Dominic is looking for an excuse. He was very sure that Elyna must have been angry with him.

"Have you eaten?" elyna asked without wanting to discuss the matter that Dominic had just spoken about.

"Yet. What about you, Elyna?" ask Dominic back.

"I haven't eaten either. Would you like to accompany me to eat outside? Take it easy this time I'm the one who deals," Elyna asked with a sweet smile.

Dominic also smiles at Elyna's offer. The man was really happy because Elyna did not discuss the matter of delay at all this time. The man did not think that actually Elyna deliberately looking for the right atmosphere to force Dominic to tell him everything that happened.

"no need. I can still afford to pay for your meal. Well then I take a shower first. After that we will go to the most delicious restaurant in Las Vegas. I'm sure you'll be hooked on eating there" Dominic said confidently.

Elyna just nodded with a forced smile. The woman looked at Dominic who now went back down the stairs because Dominic's room was located downstairs.

"I'd better get ready, too." Elyna went into her room again.

It didn't take long for Dominic to get ready. Now the man was neat and fragrant. They both have been in a car that is now sliding quickly to one of the luxury restaurants in Las Vegas. Along the way Elyna again did not say much. Instead the woman was preparing a suitable sentence to be said in front of Dominic later.

"Elyna, it looks like there's something you're thinking. You don't look happy and excited tonight. Did something happen while I wasn't home?" Dominic looked in the direction in question before going forward again.

"Nothing" answered Elyna without looking. "Oh yes what workers in your house have long worked in that house. They all look really good to me."

"Actually it's just some old waiter. The rest are new servants. Even almost all of the bodyguards were new people" Dominic replied as he was.

"Why did your old guard and servant leave? Don't they work at your house?" guess Elyna. The woman attempts to lure Dominic into knowing the real problem is going on.

"They didn't leave but they died" Dominic replied unknowingly. The man looked forward with a thought that went back to the events of a few months ago.

Dominic speechless. The man realized that he had misspoken. As quickly as possible Dominic tried to carve a forced smile. Dominic lowered the speed of his car so as not to get hurt.

"You must have heard wrong. We better not talk about their problems anymore. It all happened and there is nothing to talk about anymore. Now we'd better just enjoy this beautiful night." Dominic again tried to divert the conversation.

"It seems that what the waiter said was indeed true. Judging from Dominic's expression it seemed like he was covering something from me. I cannot fail tonight. I have to get Dominic to tell me what's really going on, "inner Elyna. The woman tried to justify her sitting position and turned her face the other way.

It didn't take long for them to finally arrive at the restaurant that Dominic had already ordered. Until they get out of the car and sit in one of the seats inside the restaurant, Dominic is still unsuspecting Elyna.

So also with Elyna who still shows a proper attitude. They ordered some food and drinks when the waiter came. While waiting for their order to arrive, Elyna again looked at Dominic to search little by little for information she wanted to know.

"other than you. Is there anyone else who lives in that house. I mean do you still have parents or siblings?'

"My mom died a long time ago. But I still have a papa and a little sister. She was married and now pregnant. Some time ago my brother asked me and Papa to come visit his house. He said he wanted us there. Because we don't want the content why-why we comply with his request."

"Then why are you here? Shouldn't you be there with your sister?" Elyna was confused.

"I was looking for an excuse to get out of that house. It's so boring in there. I don't know what to do either. She also has a husband. After marriage she no longer needs my help." Dominic imagines Faith and Zion with a warm smile.

Elyna nodded slowly before asking her next question. "Did you live in that house from birth with your family?"

Dominic shook his head slowly. "Today I'm living in Las Vegas and buying a house there. I used to live in an apartment. My residence is uncertain. I rented an apartment where my job was located. I didn't want to be a burden on my parents even though I knew at the time that my parents could afford to pay for my life. Even though I don't work."

"You are truly an independent man. Now you just have to enjoy the fruits of your labor. I'm so impressed with you, Dominic" praised Elyna with a sweet smile.

Several chefs show up and serve food ordered by Elyna and Dominic. Without a second thought they immediately devoured the food because they were very hungry. Elyna still held back her desire to ask. The woman only wants to talk when Dominic's stomach is full.

"Hows it? What food is bad? Why don't you finish your food?" ask Dominic curiously. Even though Dominic clearly knows that the food served at the table tastes very delicious.

"I had too much to drink at home. So now my stomach feels full. I admit that the food here is delicious. Next time bring me here again."

"Didn't I just say you'd be hooked to eating in this place." Dominic finishes his dinner.

"Dominic, there's actually something I want to ask you."

"Tell me. I'll answer all your questions" Dominic said casually. The man took a glass of water that was in front of him and gulped it down slowly.

"Have I killed the servants and guards in your house?"
