Surprise

Finally after a week more, Leana could feel the air outside. The first thing Leana did was go to her restaurant. Leana hasn't taken care of her Korean restaurant in a long time. He only allows his employees to work with trust capital only. Leana was unable to focus after the incident that happened to her. So, now Leana wants to check and see her restaurant.

"Well, this is Miss's restaurant?" Gina got out of the car while looking at the building with the 2nd floor nuanced like the Korean Kingdom.

"Yes, this is my first attempt." Leana smiled at the results of her hard work in building the restaurant itself. "We had lunch here."

2 The woman entered the restaurant.

"Surpriseeee" as soon as she opened the door, Leana was showered with conffetti and a boisterous applause.

Leana looked at her employees gathered there along with Aunt Marie and Marco. Why is Marco here?

"I'm.welcome.." Aunt Marie hugged Leana who was still dumbstruck in surprise.

"Happy Mother Leana for your mother's marriage and your pregnancy" said one Leana employee representing another.

"You know I'm pregnant?" Leana pointed at herself like a fool. This marriage and pregnancy is not happy news for Leana. Leana just doesn't want everyone to know like this. For him this is a disgrace because through a dark process in it.

"Already, already, let's just eat what's prepared." Marco ended the awkward atmosphere because Leana was not happy with the surprise they gave. Marco guided Leana to sit on the prepared bench.

"Ko, why are you here?" whispered Leana to Marco who was busy preparing the dishes, helping Aunt Marie.

"I'm just helping." Marco glanced at Leana.

For some reason, that look scared Leana. Do all members of the Scotts have eagle eyes and are they always scary? Or is this just Leana's feeling?

"You should eat a lot, Le. So that your child is healthy." Aunt Marie took the roast and put it in Leana's bowl.

"Do you want to eat something Le?" Marco asked while chewing his food. "Typically pregnant women like to crave something." "If there is, I'll buy it."

"Well, my mother's husband is very understanding" praised one of Leana's employees.

"He's not my husband" Leana said softly.

"Ma. af bu." the employee seemed nervous because he mistakenly thought Marco was Leana's husband. Since then, Marco was so familiar with Aunt Marie preparing everything. They also talked a lot about Leana. So, it was only natural that he thought that way.

"So where's your husband? Why are you here with.." Aunt Marie looked up at Gina.

"I, Gina. Mr. Max's assistant is at home." Gina introduced herself to Aunt Marie.

"Max can't come here because he's busy" Leana told Aunt Marie and others.

"Yaaah.I want to see Mom's husband.Surely he is very handsome." interrupted one of the employees who kepo.

Leana responded with a smile. Max is handsome. His body is tall, strong, and strong. His Asian face is also dominant with a sharp nose. But as handsome as Max is, he was the one who inflicted the wound on Leana to the point of traumatizing her.

"Who's looking for me?" the sound made the rowdy room suddenly quiet. They looked at the source of the sound.

The figure came like a model walking on the catwalk. Max appears in a full suit outfit accompanied by sunglasses. The female employees there nudged each other as soon as Max removed his glasses. That guy is so handsome.

"I'm Maxmillian Scotts, Leana's husband." Max introduced himself well. It's just that he's not smiling at all. His face was tense and an aura of anger was clearly visible there.

"Max, they made this." Leana stood up to approach Max.

"Bro, Aunt Marie's got an idea. I just happened to pass by here." explains Marco who was afraid if Max out of control.

"Why are you here? said you should report?" leana asked confusedly.

"I'll report after this." Max walked towards the chair that Leana was sitting on. He actually reached the police station, but Gina gave him a message if Marco was with Leana. Max gets back to the car and heads to the nearby Leana restaurant. He even left Rani at the police station.

"Max, you coming too? Auntie's so glad you could come here." Aunt Marie's holding Max's wrist.

"I should have come here" Max said meaningfully.

Leana sat down next to Max after Marco got out of the way by himself.

The atmosphere suddenly became awkward, not like before. Max did not know what to say and the others did not want to talk because Max's face showed unfriendly.

"Sorry, Max is a little quiet." Leana spoke up to reduce their fear.

"So, Marco and Max are brother and sister." Aunt Marie added Leana's husband's introduction to her employees.

All just have a shit. The faces of Max and Marco do have similarities, but Marco is much friendlier than Max.

"Because my wife is pregnant, I beg your help to take care of her if she's here." Max finally said.

"Max, you mean?" Leana looked at Max.

"Yes, you can come here every once in a while but stick with Gina." said Max flatly.

"You'd better eat first." Max thrusts Leana's bowl which has not been touched. This morning Leana had skipped her breakfast because of nausea.

The employees whisper to see how Max interacts with Leana. They're husband and wife, but they look very stiff. Although Max treats Leana well, there is no skin ship or intimacy between the newly married couple.

All of them finally continue their meal, while Max just gazes at Marco who is chatting with Leana employees.

Leana's phone on the table suddenly rang. Max glanced over and saw Dr.Andre's name on the screen.

"Are you sick?" ask Max lirih.

Leana shakes. He picked up the phone from Dr. Andre.

"Hello, Om." "Max is healthy." "Oh, tonight?" "I asked Max first." "Okay o'm." Leana ended the short phone call with Doctor Andre.

"Why is the doctor calling?" the curious boy Max.

"He's taking us to dinner at his house." "But if you're busy, I'll go alone."

"There's no schedule today." "You're ready" Max said without looking at Leana. At the moment Max is typing something on Rani.

'Cancel the meeting tonight because I have to accompany Leana.'
