Divorce Letter

Max wakes up and finds his room is tidy. He also saw that his injured hand had been wrapped in bandages. Max wishes this was all just a nightmare. But, the truth is not so. Max still lost Leana. She can't see Leana anymore in this house.

"Lee, where are you?" max said as he looked at the empty space in his bed. Max misses so much when Leana looks at him and gives him a morning kiss.

"Are you awake, Max?" Suddenly Max's door opened. Rani came with a big smile. And again he brought a tray of breakfast for Max.

"Ran, have you talked to your dad?" ask Max while leaning on the head board. He would not calm down before Rani could cancel this agreement.

"Yet. Dad is abroad for treatment. Maybe he'll be home in 1 month."

"That's too long, Ran." Max said with sadness. She'll talk to Timothy right away to find Leana, after Rani talks to her Dad.

Rani puts Max's breakfast on the nightstand, then she sits on the edge of the bed.

Max is a little surprised by Rani's courage. And Max had not had time to protest, Rani had already held her hand tightly.

"Max, I know you really like Leana." "But does he like you too?"

"What do you mean, Ran?" Max quickly put Rani's hand away.

"Sorry, Max." said Rani, bowing listlessly. "Leana's sending you divorce papers, Max."

Max's eyes are round. He caught both of Rani's shoulders, and gripped her firmly with his hands.

"You met Leana? Where is he now Ran?!" shouting Max.

Rania looked at Max inside. He saw the anxiety in Max's face.

"She just sent a divorce letter to this house, so I don't know where Leana is right now" Rani replied without taking her eyes off.

"I need to talk to Timothy." Max grabbed his phone lying next to the tray.

"Max, you're such a fool."

"Shut up, Ran." "Stop acting like you're close to me." "You don't know anything because you're just my employee." Max's speech is fierce.

Rani snatches Max's phone, then he stands up immediately.

"Yes, I don't know anything. But I know something about the Scotts."

Max flabbergasted. He could not protest at all and could only look at the woman in front of him.

"Max, I know you love Mom Vero and Marco even though he is.."

"Enough Ran." cut Max. He floated a murderous look at Rani who looked so confident.

"You only have 2 choices, Max. Losing Leana or losing Mom Vero and Marco." Rani gives Max an ultimatum, then he comes out with a triumphant smile.

As soon as Rani came out, from inside the room came the sound of plates breaking. Max is definitely raging again.

"Why Max, Ran?" Vero who accidentally passed through Max's room immediately stopped when he heard the sound of a broken object from inside.

"Max didn't accept it because Leana sent him a divorce letter" Rani replied casually.

"Max can't sign."

"Just calm down, Mom. I'm sure he wants to." Rani patted Vero on the shoulder, then moved on from there.

Vero bengong for a moment. He was about to pull Max's door handle, but it opened first. Max came out with a disheveled appearance.

"Max, what's wrong with you?" Vero held Max down to leave.

"Surge Mom. Max wants to find Lea." Max got rid of Vero easily. But, Vero first grabbed Max's hand. He even sits limp in front of Max.

"Mom's sorry, Max. But please be kind to Mom and Marco" said Vero in a trembling voice. Vero, who was usually arrogant, now became like a bird whose legs were injured and could not fly.

"Mom, our family's business has nothing to do with Leana."

"That's exactly it, Max." "Leana's not supposed to belong to the Scotts. You should be with Rania."

"Mom! Don't interfere in Max's affairs." Max's voice boomed along the corridor.

Vero was even deathly pale, and in the next second he cried as he pleased.

Max looked back, but he didn't care about Vero and walked out to meet Timothy.

"Mooom.. mom why?" Marco ran towards Vero who was still sitting on the floor crying.

"We're done, Ko. Max still does not want to marry Rani" said Vero sobbed.

"Patience Mom.. Leana's not going back to Max either."

"Max is like Daddy. Very stubborn."

"Max will definitely make the right choice, Mom." comfort Marco. He helped Vero stand up, then rubbed his worried-looking Mom's face.

"Mom go for a minute, Ko."

"Where's Mom? Let Marco take Mom."

"No need, Ko. Mom just for a minute."

Marco let Vero go. I don't know why Marco doesn't feel so good. He felt like Vero was hiding something. Why are his family members getting weird?
