...~Love Me My Lord Duke~...

"Thank you for everything. I love you guys" I said, then smiled gently at Vounch and Eleanor.

Martha suddenly hugged me from the side, "I love you too Viellen. We all love you" said Martha, who touched my heart.

'After this, I will rarely meet you. Or even I'll never see you again.'

Carxen was waiting for me at the door of the horse-drawn carriage. He stood up while looking straight at me, with his arms crossed to the front of his chest.

'He looks very uncomfortable lingering here.'

I took off my arms from Martha, "It's time I go" I told Martha who was still holding me.

Martha immediately took off her embrace, and smiled at me, "Alright, even though I still want to hug you," Martha then glanced at Carxen, "But your husband is standing back there, more impatient to be alone with his wife," seduced Martha in a rather loud voice.

"What did you just say, what if he heard it" I whispered to Martha. Then I glanced at Carxen carefully.

'Seeing him throw away such a face it seems like he heard it.'

After saying goodbye to Vounch and Eleanor, I waltzed off to the horse carriage and went inside. Carxen got into the train after me.

When the train finally came, I waved from the window at Martha, continuing to show my smile.

The train is getting away. I sighed quietly, as I continued to stare out the window. I occasionally glanced at Carxen who was reading some documents in his hand.

"Do you want to say something?" carxen asked, raising his head and looking straight at me.

'It turns out he realized it.'

Carxen was still looking at me, waiting for me to say something.

"Uhm...It's about...Kissing-Kiss..." I looked at Carxen carefully, then avoided eye contact with him trying to cover up my nervousness, "You kissed me earlier.." I said softly as I half muttered.

Carxen didn't say a word. The atmosphere instantly became silent as we were both silent. My face seemed to be red from embarrassment.

"I-That, ma-I mean I..." I tried to dilute the atmosphere even though I spoke with a stutter, "A-You're so good at kissing!" Then I immediately threw a smile at Carxen.

'I definitely sound like a perverted woman. What I just said in front of someone I just married a few hours ago. It's just a compliment, so no problem.'

Carxen put the document in his hand next to his seat, then turned to look at me, "Is that true? I don't understand that kind of thing," then he crossed his arms to the front of his chest.

'What kind of response is that? Does that make sense now? You kissed me without shame or nervousness. No, wait, don't tell me it was also her first kiss...?'

Other than a bad personality, there was nothing less than Carxen, whether it was wealth, appearance or reputation. Wouldn't it be strange enough that no woman had approached him for so many years.

'Then anyway? So strange.'

"...I apologized earlier. If only I knew, we could have a briefing first I mean pretend a kiss."

"What do you mean?" cetus Carxen, her tone sounded displeased, "I kissed you because you're my wife. Can't it?"

I looked directly into Carxen's eyes, my eyes widening as if I couldn't believe what had just come out of his mouth.

'What did he say just now?... Did I not hear wrong?... 'My wife'...?'

A flat gaze, an expressionless face, an attitude that seemed to be setting boundaries. I feel happy even though Carxen is like this.

As if there were butterflies in my stomach, I felt tingled. Because my chances of getting Carxen to fall in love are getting bigger.

I immediately turned my face the other way as I was embarrassed by what Carxen had just said, "No, ma-I don't mean that. Of course it can."

Secretly a small smile was engraved on my lips and I tried my best to keep Carxen unaware.
