CCC - Chapter 38

Ten minutes have passed since Jasmine collapsed, and Darren is now asking for an explanation of what really happened.. He knows that Aldin and Ellena must know everything about Jasmine..

"She skipped her breakfast earlier this morning, maybe that's what caused her to get dizzy and faint" Ellena scratched her non-itchy nape..

"Don't say things like I've only known her since she was born into this world.. So look for a better reason" Darren appears to be intimidating Ellena into telling the truth..

Now Ellena is not strong enough to keep this alone, she tells the chronology of the incident experienced by Jasmine with tears..

"He doesn't hate you, he loves you very much.. He even forbade anyone to tell you his condition.. He doesn't want you to worry so you're stupid to leave your company to see him because of what he's suffering"

Darren who heard the story about the suffering Jasmine had endured made her go crazy and repeatedly punched the wall before her until her hands bled.. Really he never thought Jasmine would experience such a terrible thing like this, not even a doctor could handle it.. Ellena tried to stop Darren from harming her "Stop the leg, Jasmine doesn't like your condition like this, she doesn't even let you eat your food"

What Ellena said was true, Jasmine must not see her slump.. Jasmine alone was able to endure why she was this weak.. Jasmine was his weakness, his only weakness.. He cannot live without seeing his face and hearing his voice.. He tidied himself up and told Ellena to go back to her room.. He heads to his secret room and waits for Jasmine to awaken.. Darren continued to hold Jasmine's hand, until Jasmine opened her eyes..

"Tell me what you're feeling right now?" ask Darren

"Thank you I'm better now, what's with your hand?"

"Nothing, it's a little frustrating to see you unconscious"

Jasmine grabbed Darren's injured hand and took a compress to relieve his swelling.. "Say this hurt?" Jasmine was worried.. Darren smiled and shook his head quickly..

"Don't hurt yourself, it's not good" Jasmine said, compressing Darren's hand.. Darren pulled Jasmine's tiny body and hugged her tightly, Jasmine was about to break away yet what power Darren's power was greater than her that he returned Darren's embrace.."This is my thanks because you hugged me when I was dizzy"

"You can hug me whenever you want"

"I'm used to Aldin's hugs"

"Married to me"

"I already have a lover"

"I don't care"

"Stop this I have to get back to work" Jasmine distanced Darren's body and walked back to her desk as if nothing had happened.. Darren smiled bitterly at the sweet girl in front of him who had now turned into a mature girl.. He hides his pain and chooses to suffer on his own..

Not felt until the hour of office came, Jasmine packed her things and immediately went home.. He misses his soft bed right now, he says goodbye to Darren and picks up his best friend on the 7th floor to come home with.. After waiting for a while for Ellena to finish her work they finally get to go home.. They immediately headed to the 1st floor and accidentally met with Darren and Mike who gave them a ride.. Of course, Ellena immediately agreed without thinking about her best friend's feelings..

They really didn't take him home but to a restaurant for a foursome dinner.. Along the way Mike had an unimportant conversation with Ellena, in contrast to Jasmine who just kept watching the streets..

Arriving at the restaurant, they ordered the dishes they wanted and without further ado devoured everything.. Jasmine herself looked around the restaurant.. The day was late and they decided to go home but in the middle of the trip Jasmine asked to turn in the direction that was precisely away from the apartment where she lived...

"Hey Jasmine tell you where we're going?" Mike seemed frustrated listening to Jasmine's request to turn right and left at will.. Jasmine ignored the question..

"Do you have any enemies?" Jasmine looked at Darren..

"I don't think I have any enemies.." Darren tried to digest Jasmine's words..

"Yes I have a good team of lawyers.."

"Alright" Jasmine replied briefly then turned to Ellena and nodded..

"Stop the car!!" said Ellena.

"What's wrong with you two? Why does my heart rule me like that?"

"We're tired of being followed on, we better finish him off and the problem is over.. Rather than us having to go around in circles like this continue" Ellena chanted

Darren and Mike spontaneously see two cars behind their cars that are unfortunately really following them..

"What should we do?" ask Mike

"Stop and don't be a coward" Ellena said

Accepting Ellena's disparaging words, Mike actually stopped his car and it was true that the people from the two cars were following them out..

"Sports first buddy" Ellena smiled..

The four of them go down and fight against the gang of criminals who follow them, Jasmine who is very good at martial arts does not hesitate to break the hands or legs of her opponent.. "Hey Jasmine what are you going to do?" Mike looks panicked..

"Shut up and watch it work" Ellena snapped at Mike..

There were only two bullets, after Jasmine examined them.. He fired one bullet in the tire of the car and the shot was on target.. The tires become deflated, as soon as the car spins because it loses stability.. The next second Jasmine shot the car's gasoline tank into flames and the car fell into the abyss with its contents..

"Done" Ellena said lightly..

"Call the police station and find out who Mike is" said Jasmine, but Mike was still gawking at what he saw..

"Are you really wonder woman??" the question was hurtling out of Mike's mouth..

"We are not sailormoon members" Ellena replied..

"I missed a lot of things about you like him" Darren ruffled Jasmine's hair..

"I'm still the same as before" elak Jasmine..

Darren smiled because his sweet girl could turn into a ferocious girl if anyone dared to tease her.. His actions this time were quite unexpected, before Darren knew that Jasmine was learning martial arts but he did not know if he was an expert in aiming at targets and was unforgiving..
