Love That (No) Blind

Love That (No) Blind
Part 25-1: Wife Husband Debate

[Sara]

“Can we talk for a minute, Mas?,” asked Sara in a hurry as soon as she saw Agam in the living room. Sara who was impatient did not even wait for Agam to answer his question and immediately took him to the study.

“Mas never told if it had a sister named Arya,” accused Sara directly once they were in the workspace.

“I told you, right? I have 2 half-sisters,” replied Agam lightly.

“But Mas never said their name.”

“Oh ... That's Raka's job. Raka should have told you,” replied Agam who again seemed without guilt. “Again, what is the importance of the name? The important thing is you know I have a step-sister.”

Sara immediately gaped in disbelief. “Yes if Mas say I'm not this shy.”

“Thy? What the hell are you doing? Why should I be ashamed?”

Sara lowered her head, she heavily told the story of her encounter with Arya, especially if she recalled what she had just done a few minutes ago, yelling at the sister-in-law.

“I-intin ... Mas still s-wrong,” broke up Sara without wanting to tell much.

“Why j-so ... Okay, okay ... I was wrong. I'm sorry.” Not an ordinary thing, but still spoken by Agam. And Sara didn't think much of it. Agam admitted without much debate, that's good.

Of course, he's wrong.

“But there are still other problems,” connect Agam again.

“M-what's the problem again?” Sara began to feel something uncomfortable in her chest. Something that looks like it's going to be bad.

“Arya does not want to go back to the main house. So, he will decide to sleep here.”

Yes, it's bad.

“K-kok that. T-continue we g-how?” The panic had almost taken Sara.

“We are forced to sleep in the room.”

Nooooo!!!!

“But the agreement is not so,” protest Sara who still holds her voice.

Sara could see Agam closing his eyes, then exhaling slowly from his mouth.

Why does he seem to be holding back his anger?

“The agreement is no sexual intercourse, not no sleeping together.”

Yeah anyway. But kan ....

“Listen, Sara. You and I will sleep in the same bed. Nothing will happen,” said Agam reassured Sara with his diplomatic style.

“Where do you know nothing will happen?”

Agam snorted softly, then said, “I'm just a blind man, Sara. Who do you think is the most dangerous here?”

“So you accuse me of attacking you?,” said Sara who was getting upset to hear Agam's words.

“You accused me first, Sara.”

Silent. This time everything was silent. There is no debate. Everything was deep in his mind. Especially Sara.

Sara's heart was not calm. It was as if he was opening the door to something that would happen next. But, what might happen next if the two of them did not want it to happen? Right, guys?

“T-but, with one condition.”

“Terms?” I repeat once again Sara's words. “Why should conditions?”

“A-I just found a kitten. I feel sorry to see him because he was born. Maybe that's why she left her mother. She was only 3 weeks old, so I couldn't bear to leave her out there,” said Sara who the longer she told me, the more soft the sound came out. “J-so, let me take care of the kitten until he is strong enough later I release myself.”

Quietly silent for a moment. But then, he took something out of his pocket.

A cellphone?

“Connect Raka.”

“CALL CONNECTED. RAKA.”

“Good day, Sir,” so the voice heard from the phone held by Agam.

“You bought all the kitten gear. Bring a veterinarian here. I want it all ready tonight. End call.”

“CALL TERMINATED.”

“Raka will arrange everything. If you want something else, tell Raka. The cat is yours. So, you can keep it up anytime.”

Sara could only gawk at seeing all of that in just a matter of seconds. Everything outside of his estimation had suddenly happened and everything just changed. His forehead was even still hanging with both of his eyes widened.

“Sara!”

“I-iya ...,” replied Sara who was surprised to hear Agam's call.

“You heard me, right?”

“I-it ... I-I plan to take it off after a month or two ..”

“You sure you can take it off? You can do it?” I asked a question that Sara could hardly answer. “You can't even bear to see it alone, then you take it home. So, why bother convincing me again?”

Sara swallowed her saliva hard. He felt like he was on trial.

“Hard to believe! You apply for conditions like this only for a kitten,” said Agam who sounded quite upset. “Do you think I am a person with no feelings? The one who makes the decision? Is it for you that I can't talk to?”

Guilt instantly enveloped Sara's entire feeling to make her bowed deeply. He's ashamed of himself.

“I'm sorry, Mas ..”

“Already! If you have any objections, I'll find another reason. You just do it ..”

Sara immediately cut Agam's words. “I want!,” he exclaimed loudly.

He noticed her loud voice, then repeated it again in a softer voice. “I'll sleep in Mas's room later tonight.”

......................

Agreeing with Agam is easy. Convincing Arya about their marriage relationship was not difficult either. What is not as simple as imagined is living it.

As soon as Sara entered Agam's room, all the muscles in her chest had been beating the drums with a bang over and over again. In his head kept spinning the images of Agam he had seen some time ago as he was trapped inside that room. Pity without his top clothes. Agam who only wears a towel to cover the bottom.

Oh, my God, Sara. Why do you have to remember that at times like this?!?, Sara's inner self kept shouting.
