Love That (No) Blind

Love That (No) Blind
Part 35: The Worst Dreams

[Sara]

Sara just wanted to go into Agam's room, sitting next to him while waiting for him. Although she knew she was not Agam's real wife, but couldn't I accompany her?

“What is this?”

Arya just got home from the office. It's time. Unfortunately, he had to see all of that.

“What does this mean? Why can't Sara get close to Agam? She's Mas Agam's wife. You didn't forget, did you?” Arya asked once again with her high tone.

“I'm sorry, Madam. But this is Mr. Agam's request. I ... just run ... command,” said Raka who sounded more subtle.

When did Mas Agam give such an order? Why did Mas Agam give such an order?

“I beg. Can't I go in and see it from the door? I'm worried about her,” pinta Sara welcomes. He desperately wanted to be next to Agam at this moment.

Even if I had to beg, I would. Just let me be with him.

But Raka did not give him permission at all. “Sorry ..”

“What do you mean say sorry?” Arya could not hold back her emotions. He pulls Raka's collar, then pushes her to hit the door of Agam's room to make a loud noise. With just a single look and hear, Raka must have been in pain with the blow.

“Arya, already, Arya ..” Sara still looked at him gently as she released Arya's hand from Raka. He keeps begging Arya to let go of Raka.

At least Arya still wants to listen to him.

Sara keeps pulling Arya away from Raka. After quite a distance, Sara asked him to go to her room to rest. But Arya refused.

“What exactly is it, Ma'am?,” asked Arya urging Sara to tell her.

“Mas Agam is sick. Last afternoon the temperature was checked, 40 degrees. Therefore Raka came with the doctor,” explained Sara.

“But, why can't you enter? What does it mean?”

“Mbak also does not know. But if it can't already be. Don't make a fuss, yeah. Mas Agam is sick. You just rest. You just got home from work.” Sara still calms Arya down.

“Continue Mbak to where now?”

“Ngot anywhere. I want to wait for Mas Agam. Let Mbak wait there.” Sara pointed to one place in front of Agam's room that she could occupy.

“What? Where can be ..”

“Already, Arya. Already, yeah. Mbak please. Ma'am is okay. Yes?”

Arya was still moaning against her anger, but Sara who kept begging managed to lower her anger.

Although heavy, Arya agreed. And without waiting any longer, Sara left Arya who was still standing holding everything back. Sara sat not too far away, but right in front of the door of Agam's room. Raka who was standing in front of the room door could only give her helpless look to Sara.

Maybe it is true that Mas Agam asked like this. I don't know what the plan is.

All that night, Sara sat there waiting. Sometimes I fall asleep while sitting. When his back was getting tired, he started leaning against the wall behind him. Seinci also Sara did not shift from there.

As her heart began to unsettle at the doctor and Raka who kept alternating out and in, Sara began to recite the prayer in her heart. Prayers that Mom and Dad always taught. The prayer he called was only for Agam.

While Arya, she remained there accompanying Sara. Just sitting there while continuing to persuade Sara to rest in her room. But Sara was still stubborn to stay there. Sara doesn't want to go.

“It seems like eating just a little yes, Ma'am,” persuade Arya with a plate of rice complete with the side dish.

But Sara still had no interest in eating it. “Still, Arya. Ma'am is not hungry. You eat first, yes.”

How can we eat? Imagining Mas Agam in there, my appetite is gone.

Even the next morning, Agam still did not show signs of recovery. However, Sara could only see Raka talking to the doctor in a very low tone of voice. Even Sara could not hear it.

The doctor continued to show Raka a piece of paper that was in her hand. Every now and then they looked at Sara, then back at the paper.

What was? Why look at me? What's that paper?

“Is that the test result?,” asked Sara when the doctor had entered Agam's room.

Raka nodded. “Iya, Madam,” replied Raka in a soft voice.

This time Raka did not answer. His gaze still hinted at regret. But Sara wouldn't force it. Maybe Agam told him to too.

He sat back down, then buried his face between his legs. She started crying.

What the hell is going on? What are you sick with, Mom?

But it's just the beginning. Agam was still unconscious until 3 days and 3 nights passed.

And all that time, Sara was like being in a dark room with no lights, no air. He could not see the end of the room. His chest seemed to run out of oxygen thinking about the condition of Agam which he still did not know the clarity. No one who went in and out of Agam's room would tell her about her husband's condition. Sara was almost desperate.

For 3 days and 3 nights Sara was in her worst nightmare.

“Eat just a little, Ma'am. Already 3 days Mbak has not eaten anything,” persuaded Arya for the umpteenth time.

Sara nodded weakly. His head started to turn. Obviously, 3 days of not eating anything, his body had started to feel weak.

How can I eat? Mas Agam in there also did not eat 3 today.

“You don't work? Ma'am is okay. You just go to work. Later Mbak told me that Mas Agam was aware,” said Sara diverted Arya's conversation, stopping her sister-in-law's efforts to persuade her.

“Where can I go to the office like this, Ma'am? It's still inside. Mama also does not want to eat. At least eat a little, yes.” Arya still hasn't given up.

Sara noticed a plate of rice with a piece of meat and vegetables on it. It was indeed like that Arya would every time persuade him to eat, always with something in her hands. Though rejected continues in the end, but Arya always returns with something in her hands to offer Sara.

“But, you to the office after that, yes.” Sara started negotiating.

Arya firmly nodded her head. “I leave after Mbak ate.”

In order to please her sister-in-law, Sara was finally willing to devour something that Arya had brought for her. Although it did not run out, but Arya still smiled with satisfaction. He kept his promise after that.

The fourth day, the atmosphere in front of Agam's room began to change. The doctors and nurses panicked in and out. Raka is too.

But Sara still couldn't get into it. They locked the door to Agam's room.

Although Raka finally came out to call someone, but when Sara asked still not a single word came out of her mouth.

An hour after the panic, something came from Agam's room.

“ARRGGHH!!!!”

PRANGS!

BRACKET!

Agam is conscious!

It was the sound of Agam's cry accompanied by the sound of shards and the clash of items that seemed to be slammed violently. Agam.

Raka and the doctor were just waiting outside the room door. Sara is not allowed to enter.

“Let me go inside. I beg you, Raka. Just let me accompany him. He can hurt himself if it is like that,” pinta Sara continuously. The sound of Agam's scream was quite slashing in her heart, causing Sara to grow increasingly anxious and fearful, pushing her tears continuously out.

“Sorry, Mistress. Can't do. This will only harm Madam.” Raka keeps holding Sara who doesn't stop pushing her to get inside. Agam's increasingly loud cries did not in the least dampen Sara's intention to retreat.

“I'm okay. Let me in, Raka. I can deal with it.”

“Sorry, Mistress. Sorry.”

“Arrgghhh!!!”

PRANGS!!!

BRAK!!!

Sara's tears fell more and more as Agam's cries did not subside either. The pain in his heart hearing Agam's screams grew increasingly piercing as he realized there was nothing he could do but wait outside without doing anything.

Mas Agam's ...
