Part 37-2: A Long, Messy Night (POV Yuda)

“Halo, Mr. Yuda ... Something has happened.” As soon as Yuda heard the first time when he answered the phone from Raka.

“T-mister Agam shows the same symptoms as two years ago. His blood test was also positive. The doctor has checked it three times. S-now I was forced to do the procedure ordered Mr. Agam.”

That fu*king procedure! I didn't agree with the procedure from the beginning!

Yuda, who was in Dubai for work, could only rely on Raka to look after Agam, even though he himself hated Agam's ways.

“Keep the word,” his command after he heard the rest explanation from Raka.

As soon as the call ended, Yuda contacted someone else again. “I want Widia's motion report these past few days. Most importantly these last 2 days. Check everything! CCTV Agam houses, offices, even cars. I want a full report within 24 hours!”

Judah provided security around Agam. Of course, because he is the owner of the best security service provider in Indonesia. So, very clearly, he can scold his people who work is not smart because they missed watching Widia.

Agam was his best friend since they were little. It used to be next to the main house of the Wirasurya family. Yuda's father's house is more precise. Now, Judah chose to live somewhere else.

His whole life was with Agam. So, he knew almost everything that happened in Agam's life, including about Widia, Sara, and the accident.

Two years ago, before Agam went crazy for his blindness and deafness, Yuda already held evidence of Widia's involvement in the accident that killed Mr. Wirasurya and caused Agam's paralysis. The investigation she was conducting on her own without Agam's knowledge, due to her suspicions on Widia lately. But instead he gave her another clue.

He would give all the results of his investigation to Agam, but news of Agam being unconscious due to a high fever prevented him from doing so. Yuda's waiting.

Yuda continued to wait until Agam was completely calm and willing to take his phone call. I don't know how long Judah waited, which was important in the end, Agam would listen to him.

The goal was clear, he wanted to warn Agam to be careful with his stepmother. But what happened was the opposite.

Agam becomes shut out himself, distancing himself from new people, and growing suspicious of anyone who is nearby.

Yuda also did not escape his suspicions at first. But indeed the base of Yuda is a stubborn person – exceeds the thickness of the head Agam – , Agam finally took it for granted without much more complaints.

Agam became worse when he learned from doctors who handle it abroad that his blindness and deafness due to other causes.

Judah could do nothing more than remain his ally and indulge all his sometimes ridiculous desires.

God seemed to be showing the way for Agam, when the obedient assistant of Agam suddenly issued a crazy idea but not ugly. “Married, Sir!”

Yuda knew Raka was saving her job back then. The idea that came out of his mouth was also just to prove to his master that he had worked hard. But married? Obviously it's a crazy idea.

Just imagine, Agam who was paranoid about everything was suddenly told to marry. Want it? But if you want, it's not a bad idea either. Interesting ...

Ashara's. Yeah, that girl's perfect. Not bad. At least safe for Agam. Work can be, wife can also. Perfect!

But, the more days, the reports he received the more shocking it was. And he saw it for himself when they met the NFC office. I could accept the girl. The girl Sara called. Incredible ...

If the heart has spoken, what would Agam say. Yeah, right? And that means Agam just needs to be cheered on. Sooner or later, the contract can become permanent. That's nice!

Once he arrived in Indonesia, it was not his own house that he visited, but Agam's house. Nor was it her beloved daughter whom she had longed for these past few days whom she had met at the moment, but instead Agam who according to reports Raka was currently rampaging in her room.

When he arrived upstairs, the first thing he saw was Arya carrying Sara who had fainted. Arya saw it, but she didn't have time to have a good night at the moment. Judah did not stop walking towards Agam's room.

Seen Agam was sitting leaning on the nightstand, among the shapeless items scattered on the floor. Yuda was no longer surprised by the sight he was seeing at this moment. Agam has also raged while abroad.

Raka suddenly appeared and stood at the door of Agam's room. Maybe he's new from the next room, where Arya took Sara.

“Mr Yuda ..”

Not having time to finish his speech, Yuda had already pushed Raka out of the room. Although Raka called out to him many times, Judah paid him no heed. He closed the door immediately.

Now back to Agam. Judah immediately opened Agam's palm, and said in his gesture.

“May you know what you're doing right now, Agam! And I hope you don't regret it.”

Agam forcibly took his own hand, and answered Judah's words. “I've regretted it for following your advice to marry Sara.”

Yuda again pulled Agam's hand. This time he grasped it quite hard as he gestured, giving Agam a hint that he was currently angry.

“You blame Sara for all this? You know exactly who did it!”

“Mama used him to approach me, it's the same means he's been working with her.” Agam's voice was getting louder.

“If he wants to kill you, it is easier to do it while you are sleeping!”

Agam. The hand that Judah was holding was clenching hard. Yuda knew, Agam understood his words.

Yuda wanted to go back on his terms, but Agam did not want to open his palm. Judah did not lose his mind. He held both arms of Agam, then he signaled and made Agam follow the motion of his hand.

“I told you. Don't let your heart go blind like your eyes, Agam! You know, you protect yourself but by hurting others with your cowardice!”

He forced his hands together. He covered his ears as if he had just heard Yuda yelling in his ears. “Be quiet, Yuda! Quiet!!”

Again, Judah drew Agam's hand. He tried to open Agam's palm. Goody! He still wants to hear!

“Read this cue carefully, Agam! Because of your orders, Raka forbade Sara from entering this room as long as you were unconscious. For the sake of someone like you, that girl is waiting out there. Not eating, not drinking. You know what's happening to her now? He's in the next room. The doctor is examining him. Just hope he doesn't die, Gam. And you'll never regret everything you've done.”

Lastly, Judah threw out Agam's hand. Then get out of Agam's room. Allowing Agam who kept yelling at Yuda to come out.

Yuda doesn't care. He was already getting out of there.

I need some fresh air.

A rookok was immediately lit as soon as he arrived on the front porch. His first rookok he's smoked since Tania was born. He always carried it in his pants pocket, but he never once lit it. And now, Agam is the one who made him break his own record.

Damnit damnit!

After the umpteenth hysteria, Arya came from inside and immediately gripped onto the clothes of Judah.

“I'm sure you know everything. That's why you're here.”
