Love That (No) Blind

Love That (No) Blind
Part 50-1: Meeting After Farewell

[Sara]

“Wait for me in the cafe lobby,” so Yuda said after Sara confirmed a picture she believed to be Agam.

It's not an easy journey. It took more than a week, dozens of search teams, and a satellite belonging to the Yuda company to be able to probe Japan from all over the city and get the picture.

Every day Sara would come to the office of Judah waiting for the development of the search conducted by Judah. Initially coming alone, then it became a habit of Arya to come pick up and take him there.

On the tenth day, all his prayers in every prayer he did were finally answered. Yuda called him this morning, and said in his phone, “They got something. But I need you to confirm. Can you come here?”

Of course you can. Why can't it?

And this is where Sara, downstairs Yuda's office building used as a cafe.

“Mbak want to go directly from the hotel or go home Mom first?,” asked Arya who just came from taking their order at the counter.

Right, hotel. In order to avoid further questioning about Agam, after 3 days of staying at home, Sara chose to stay at the hotel. He reasoned at Mom to go home, but she didn't.

Sara had a reason to stay at the hotel. He was not able to go back to Agam's house which is now his. Sara knew, she would definitely cry whenever she remembered Agam, because in every corner of the house it would always remind her of the man. Be Sara decides to stay at the hotel for a while.

Arya is the first person to refuse Sara to stay in a hotel. But once he finds out Sara's reason, Arya agrees. By the record, Sara had to stay at a hotel appointed by Arya and had Arya pay for it.

Don't ask what hotel. Which is obviously more expensive than the hotel that Sara lived in before. And inevitably, Sara agreed with Arya – because of the threat Arya will stay in the hotel with her, more precisely.

“Go home Mom first. I want to say goodbye to Mom,” Sara replied after thinking about it for a while.

“Oke, I'll drop off.”

“You don't work?,” asked Sara who was worried Arya ignored her work because of her.

“Tan easy, Ma'am. There's something wrong.” Arya smiled proudly at that remark.

Yuda arrived shortly afterwards. He immediately sat himself beside Arya and drank the drink in front of her.

Arya immediately teased Yuda as soon as her drink was captured by the tall man. With a wink in her eyes, Arya drew closer to Judah. While Yuda himself pushed Arya backwards with his palm covering his face.

“That place is not a hospital, as you said. More like a rehabilitation house as well as a study house for health students and research places,” explains Yuda who does not tease Arya who is still teasing her.

“Owns of a professor. I've worked with him too. I asked Raka. Maybe they have a cooperation project, therefore Agam is there.”

Yuda leaned his arms against the table so that he could advance his body close to Sara. “Now I ask you one more time, are you really sure you will catch Agam? We don't know when you'll be back. Could be ta ...”

“I'm sure!”

Sara cut out Yuda's words with confidence. Since Agam left without saying goodbye, since Mother gave him her blessing, since Sara knew what Agam had done for her, maybe also since Sara began to love him, since she began to love him, perhaps since then Sara knew she had to accompany Agam at whatever moment her husband would face.

Yuda stared at Sara. Pretty long. Arya was also astonished to look at the reactionless Judah.

“After,” exclaimed Yuda suddenly while pulling his body back to lean on the cafe bench. Then, he placed a large brown envelope on the table.

“This passport and at the same time the visa is all taken care of. Flight tickets for tomorrow morning. So you have plenty of time to prepare. Until there later there will be my people who will take you to the location. A little far from the city center. The journey may be about 2-3 hours.”

He had already prepared everything in this short amount of time?

The passport has been taken care of since the first day Sara met with Yuda in her office. After their meeting, Judah suddenly asked for all of Sara's documents for that purpose.

#

“You must want to follow Agam, right? So you need a passport. I need everything I wrote on that paper. Bring it tomorrow and I'll take care of it. You just wait for the results.”

That's what he said that day.

But visa is a different story. Somehow Yuda can get a visa that easily. Could he be using his family's influence?

I don't know. All the documents are now ready.

“You didn't go there too?,” asked Sara.

“Definitely. I'll definitely be there. He couldn't stop me from coming. But right now, you go there first. Make sure he stays there until I come,” replied Yuda who is also a member of Arya.

Sara laughed at hearing that.

“I just send a message to Mas Agam. NFC for sure I will retake,” replied Arya.

“I'll give you the message. But, I'm sure Mas Agam would rather you come visit him.”

Arya agreed with Sara's words.

Then, Sara placed a small piece of paper and a ballpoint pen on the table, then shifted it in front of Judah.

Yuda instantly gives a view of ‘what is this?’.

“Can I have the account number? I'll change everything,” Sara said.

Both Yuda and Arya were dumbfounded in front of Sara. Both of them said nothing. Long enough, until finally Arya laughed out loud. And Judah gnawed his glabell.

Now, it was Sara's turn to be dumbfounded.

“Tan easy, Ma'am. All set Yuda,” kekeh Arya. “Mbak may not be used to it. But the three of us are often like this. Who can arrange yes he takes care of everything.”

“I ship Agam. Pay with that.” Yuda has commented.

“Nothing, Ma'am. Over time Mbak must be accustomed,” said Arya again who still chuckles.

Sara nodded slowly while rounding her lips a sign that she was beginning to understand everything. But then he smiled. This kind of warmth that Mas Agam should feel as sincerity.

......................

For a moment they were silent to each other. But soon, Judah began to speak.

“I don't know what Arya said to you. The child sometimes does like to add stories that are not important.”

Sara listened to every word that Judah said.

“I've known Agam since we might have just figured out how to walk. He was the only friend I had that long. Therefore, I never want Agam to just leave as if he lives alone in this world. So, wherever he is, I will definitely find him.”

“I know,” Sara replied. He smiled gently. “Because I am too.”

“I've heard all the stories that happened 2 years ago. I just don't want Mas Agam going through everything once again like he used to. Mas Agam should know he will not be alone in living it all. I'll accompany him. You will also always support it.”

Yuda is smiling. “Thank you. I can calm down now. I can fulfill my promise to the late mother of Agam before she dies.”

Sara's stunned.

Din, din ...

The horn of Arya's car that had stopped in front of them shocked Sara and Yuda. The two finally stopped talking.

......................

Everything went well. Departing from Mother's house, to the airport transfer Arya, a 14-hour trip to Sapporo, then meet with Yuda's messenger at Okadama airport. Everything smoothly.

Sara remained calm. He was only thinking about his meeting with Agam. Excited clear.

Only when the road trip he had to do to the village where Agam was, Beie Village, did Sara start to feel nervous. The two-hour journey as Yuda's man said felt like he was undergoing a national exam at the afterlife level.

Sara's mind is starting to get messed up. The things he should have thought about before making his decision to Japan, now just crossed his head.

What if he doesn't like me coming?

What if I get kicked out?

Why would I be so confident that he would accept me?

Sara was getting panicked with all her own thoughts. His spirit instantly descended instantly.

It was already very late when Sara had already arrived at that place, what time it was. The one-story building that extended to the side had already welcomed his arrival. But Sara was still busy with all the bad thoughts she had in her head.

But retreating now is too late. The only way he has now is to move on. And that's what Sara's doing right now.

Entering the first room of the building without anyone welcoming him. Sara was confused as to what to do.

He placed his suitcase in one of the safest corners of the room, then walked around the room looking for people he could talk to.

“Excuse ..”

Waitaminute! It's Japan. I don't speak Japanese!!!!

Sara panicked again. But, it calmed down for a moment.

Relax, Sara. You have a phone that's smarter than you, the mind is proud.

At least for that, he could breathe a sigh of relief.

After inserting the phone he had already made sure his translation app was ready into the pocket of his hoodie jacket he was wearing, he said, Sara again walked into the deeper building which turned out to be wider than seen outside.

Still no one.

Is it because it's night?

I don't know. Clearly, Sara's mission is not yet complete. Because now he saw the stairs that would lead him upstairs. And Sara, without a second thought, he climbed the stairs.

Upstairs, the room was more comfortable. Very spacious. There are many sofas that are neatly arranged, like a lounge. But, there's no one.

He looked to the right. There's no one.

He looked to the left. It was only then that he saw the figure of the man he had been missing for the past few days.

Mas Agam's ...

He looked thinner the last I saw. Is it just my feelings?

Sara just stepped her foot once. The second step stopped immediately. The bad thoughts that were in his head now reappeared. He hesitated to step.

His view has now become nano. The Agam he loved was in front of him, but his fear even made him not dare to approach. Then what should he do now?

While Sara was still busy fighting in her heart, that was when a call surprised her. “Sara?”

Sara closed her mouth with both hands. How did Agam know he was there? I still can't see it. His eyes in the other direction are proof.

Sara panic. He's pulling his leg back. One step, two steps, three steps, he forgot, he was standing in front of the stairs he had climbed.

BUGS!

He saw everything spinning. Not only that, his body was also spinning.

Dizziness. Of course, his head hit something many times. Coupled with all that was spinning in her eyes, Sara grew heavier and heavier opening her eyes. Slowly he closed it.

It feels better. His body no longer rotated. But the pain in his head was still felt, and it continued to hurt.

The more it hurts, so it draws all its energy to endure the pain. Over time, Sarah became unconscious. He no longer knows what happened to him.
