[Sara]
Aozora Fukkou Hausu, that's the name of the place where Agam recovered himself.
A place belonging to a professor and a brain surgeon who is also recognized in Japan as the number one neurologist and cardiovascular, Satoshi Yamamoto, or Agam called it by Prof. Yamamoto.
I've known him since he was developing the Selene project for the second version. While visiting Japan, Agam met with Prof. Yamamoto is conducting research on the recovery of paralyzed patients and failing human sense function that is not due to congenital factors.
“Prof. Yamamoto did the research because he wanted his wife who was paralyzed and blinded since the accident to be able to walk back and look back.”
It was still 23 years old. Still healthy. It was unthinkable for him someday he would experience the same thing experienced by Prof's wife. Yamamoto. Just feel that the research idea was so amazing that he was willing to donate Selene to help research Prof. That yamamoto.
And when that research worked, Prof. Yamamoto offers to Agam to come to his place.
“This rehabilitation house was built on land belonging to the Prof family. Yamamoto. For his wife, he built a place so that his wife could rest and recover. And also for Prof. Yamamoto can focus on completing his research.”
“Over time, this place gets bigger and bigger. Room after room grew as more and more people came to recover. Until it became what it is today.”
Incredible ...
“So, how is wife Prof. Yamamoto now?,” asked Sara.
“He died 5 years ago, before Prof's research. Yamamoto really did make it.”
Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun ... Mrs Yamamoto has not seen her husband succeed.
Before returning to Indonesia, the rehabilitation house belongs to Prof. Yamamoto was the last stop of the whole place in several countries Agam had visited.
At that time, the research was almost complete. But Agam still tried it even though it had not received recognition. And it works, even if not at the maximum. Unfortunately, Agam had to return to Indonesia, and the treatment stopped. Agam had to keep himself so that the medicine did not return to his body, so that the treatment could be completed someday.
Call from Prof. Yamamoto to continue the treatment was long in coming, even before the 3-day fever incident occurred. But Agam always put it off. As soon as the matter arose, Agam began to rethink it. And finally, here he is.
“Ohayou, sensei ..” So greet everyone who passes the room where Agam lives.
‘Sensei’ is a call for someone who is considered a teacher by the Japanese.
Not only came as a patient, Agam also helped Prof. Yamamoto gave a class on the use of Selene in research. Although only an additional class was held twice, they still called Agam with the call ‘sensei’.
Once or twice, some students will definitely come every day to visit Agam's room. Some of them are just chatting, but the most is to do a question and answer session for their paper and presentation tasks.
Because Sara had only been there for three days, not many knew her. But some of the nurses who already knew Sara would definitely greet her. As did a beautiful nurse who was currently stopping by Agam's room checking out Agam's routine.
“Ohayou, Sara-san ..”
“O-ohayou ..” Sara replied nervously.
And after that, Agam and the nurse would chat themselves. Sara audience.
How else, Sara doesn't speak Japanese. One of the things he did not think about before he left for Japan.
But it's not my fault either, is it? There is no way that I teach Japanese when others are busy looking for Mas Agam, so he thought regrettably, especially when he saw Agam's laughter while with the nurse.
Agam offered to take a course in the city center. But Sara refused. It would be very troublesome if you had to go back and forth like that, let alone the journey took a long time. In addition, the goal to Japan is also not for that. So, she decided to learn on her own from online classes or books. Most often, of course, ask Agam to teach him.
At least, three days in Japan, he can say good morning. Just like he did. I can be proud, right?
Nevertheless, the sight of Agam speaking in fluent Japanese was an incredible sight for him right now.
It looked really cool, she thought every time she saw Agam speaking Japanese.
“If for example I do not follow Mas here, about Mas will choose one of them, right? They are beautiful, Mas,” asked Sara as soon as the nurse in charge of checking routine health condition Agam out of the room to continue his other duties.
Laughing, not answering. He instead called Sara to sit nearby.
As soon as Sara made Agam's request, Sara's hand was held gently.
“I'm blind, Sara. I can't see how they look,” replied Agam.
“If later Mas can see again, Mas would know how beautiful they are,” timpal Sara.
“Yes, if I can see again, I already have other plans that time.”
“Other plans?”
Agam further tightened his grip on Sara's tiny hand, and rubbed the back of his hand gently.
“First, I found a picture of you I put next to my bed. I intentionally put it there, so I can see immediately when my eyes are back to functioning,” said Agam.
“After that, I returned to Indonesia. Look for you, keep seeing you in person. That's my plan.”
Sara looked at the owner of the sad face that was before her at this moment. His face gradually flushed. Fortunately Agam could not see it. So he didn't have to hide it.
“Is ... I don't want it,” said Sara Lirih. He took his eyes off Agam, reducing the heat on his face.
I laughed again. He pulled Sara into his arms.
In fact, the words of Agam more like a maze according to Sara, but when heard by him, somehow, it feels tickling spoiled in his ears.
......................
“Sara-san mada koko ni imasuka? Mou sugu gogo ni - ji ni ni narimasu. Agam - sensei no jugyou mo mou sugu owarimasu yo. (Sara-san is still here? It's almost 2 p.m. The Agam-sensei class will soon be finished),” said one of the volunteers who served in the kitchen.
"Oshirase itadaki arigatou. Sugu ni owarasemasu's. (Thank you for reminding me. I'll be done soon.),” Sara replied in Japanese that wasn't quite as fluent. But little by little he began to master it.
Today is Sara's 15th day living in Japan. Besides she has started to be able to communicate with Japanese – even though she is not as fluent as Agam –, Sara began to know almost everyone who works in the rehabilitation house, be it employees, volunteers, volunteers, interns, up to some patients from small to old.
Her status as the wife of a teacher who is also the number one patient in the place makes her free to wherever she likes without anyone banning her – even Prof. Yamamoto is not –, including the kitchen.
If Agam has a class, Sara will go anywhere to help while waiting for the Agam class to finish. Sometimes he helps in the kitchen like now, sometimes he helps in the nursing room to prepare some patient items, sometimes also playing with children in the playroom.
When she was about to finish, Sara returned to class to pick up Agam, and after that they went for a walk around the rehab house.
Sara immediately put down the kitchen utensils she was holding. Then he put on his jacket and took Agam's sweater and went to class.
When the class is finished – because of the number of enthusiasts, the Agam class is now three times a week –, does not mean Agam can be free to go out just like that. Some people still stayed to discuss with Agam. If so, usually Sara would wait outside.
Like this time, a beautiful girl was talking to Agam. The language was too difficult for Sara to understand. He didn't really understand what they were talking about. That means, they are serious about their field.
The thing is, it's weird for Sara to let Agam with the girl alone in a room. Let him enter the room without a sound, unbeknownst to Agam and his students, and choose a place at the other end to sit and wait.
“Sara?” It was as if he was making sure of something when the girl left. Somehow the story, the guess was right.
“Kok Mas know, anyway?”
Agam even laughed, then said, “Recrets.”
“Ish ..”
But, it has been a question for Sara for a long time, even since she came to Japan. The moment before he fell down those stairs, Agam could correctly guess that it was him. How could?
Sara once tried to ask, and the answer was always the same as before. Secret.
“Mas does not use mind reader tools, right?,” asked Sara suspiciously.
The laughter is getting louder. “Where is something like that?”
“Ya so what dong?” Sara tried to ask back.
“The name is ..” The sound of Agam is getting slower.
Sara had trouble hearing it.
“Iya, Mas?” His ears were fixed to Agam. But Agam still replied slowly. It's slower, though.
Sara approached again.
Suddenly, a kiss landed on the side of his face.
“Iih ... Mas!”
While Sara was upset, Agam instead laughed triumphantly satisfied which even added to Sara's annoyance.
Fortunately, with a little bit of persuasion and apology, their sightseeing event can still be accomplished.
One stop that used to be the place where Sara rested Agam. The same place she saw in the picture that Yuda showed her while in Indonesia. The most beautiful place according to the people here.
A comfortable place to chat and relax. Suitable for Agam who likes with tranquility.
They were having a casual chat when Agam suddenly asked Sara to stand before him. Despite the many questions that hit her head, Sara still did.
With both hands clasping Sara's hands, Agam said, “We start our story with a pretty strange story.”
Sara laughed at hearing that. Yeah, it's weird.
“I don't regret it if it means taking you to me. But ..”
Agam increasingly tightened his hand grip.
“... I still want to do something I used to not do.”
Sara's heart suddenly grew faster.
“I want to propose to you, correctly this time.”
Agam's right hand took off his grip on Sara, then grabbed something in his pants pocket.
As she was being ejected, Sara saw a round metal being held by her and confronted Sara.
“I know we're married. But, will you accept a man like me to be a part of your future?”
A single tear slid freely down her face. Followed by other tears.
He doesn't have to do this. But he still does. How can I say no?
“I want, Mas. As long as it's with Mas, I want ..” Sara hugged Agam.
The ring held by Agam is now pinned on Sara's ring finger along with the ring that Agam gave them when they married first.
Both are equally important. Just as important as Mas Agam in my life.
