Love That (No) Blind

Love That (No) Blind
Part 57-2: Destroyed By Selfishness (POV Agam)

[Games]

It all started when Arya came to Japan 6 months before Agam returned to Indonesia. Not like the previous arrival. Arya's arrival at that time gave her shocking information.

“Ava will be engaged next week. I liked it, so my mom agreed. But I didn't. Somehow, I find it hard to believe it.” So Arya said as she brought the news.

And there's a reason Arya can't believe it.

“She said she graduated from a master's program at Pace University. But when I asked him if he knew Mr. Samuel Davis, he said he knew. There was no name of the teacher there. I know, because I have friends there.”

Yuda added.

“I've also investigated all of Pace's graduates the year he graduated. But there's no name. Which Pace graduate is he?”

Somehow, it's clear she can make Mama and Ava like her. If he's just a Pace graduate, obviously that's not the only reason.

And every month there are reports about Vian, including those related to Sara.

“I just realized it last night. Alvian, the same name as Sara's boyfriend. When I open the file again, and it's true. They are the same person,” so Yuda reported one moment.

Agam's feelings were immediately mixed up. Uncomfortable and unsafe. Lover who used to be just talked about is now starting to look in shape. What kind of coincidence is this?

While his heart was at war with his jealousy, at that moment he had to think of his sister who was currently in love with a man whose origins were unclear. Especially if the man Sara had told was much different from the reports she had received from Yuda and Arya.

“I've met his parents. We talked about a lot of things. All about Vian they know all,” Sara said when Agam told her about Vian whom she knew. Panic, obviously. But worry the most. Agam sure of that.

Especially when Agam shows photos of Ava's engagement that Arya sent. There is also a picture of Vian's parents. Sara's reaction was obviously in disbelief. They weren't the two Vian parents Sara had met before.

Who wouldn't worry if that was the case? Who did Sara meet at the time?

The easiest answer that Agam, Yuda, and Arya think about is that they are paid people, both when they meet with Sara and with Ava. But, Judah could not find those people. I don't know where Vian hid it.

So Agam asked Judah to investigate further. His family background.

If he can make up a hoax about his parents, it means there's something with his family's past.

Unfortunately, Yuda has not found a single clue.

And if it can not be found, then the decision to transfer ownership of shares obviously can not be left alone.

And that's what Agam and Arya are doing, stalling.

Even though he could not interfere in the affairs of the NFC or FTC, but handing over NFC to strangers, it was clearly a big mistake.

“Business Analytics and Financial Management, huh?,” asked Agam on Vian while they were chatting on the back porch.

As soon as Vian came, Ava immediately invited him to meet Agam who was sitting there. Ava deliberately left them there, probably wanting Agam and Vian to be able to chat casually.

“Iya, Mas,” replied Vian confidently. As if he was living it.

“Pace University nice. His majors are also very supportive.”

“Thank you, Mas.”

Despite not seeing his face, Agam could feel relief from Vian's tone of voice. The ability that he had long had when he could not see like the current – even if only in a blurred and unclear picture.

Agam who was looking at the meadow that was in front of him at this time again said, “Ava trusts you very much.”

Vian who was behind Agam replied with a small laugh. ”Thank you, Mas. I only do my best for Ava.”

“But I don't.”

This time it was quiet. There was no more laughter like Vian had done.

“I can not trust the person who still comes to the house of his former lover's parents at the time he was already engaged to someone else.”

“And at the time his ex-lover was married to someone else.”

This time, he turned to face Vian.

“Entah because the person cannot reveal his past or because the person has another purpose.”

Vian finally let out his little laugh again. “No other purpose. My mom and I were very good together. As soon as I returned to Indonesia, I just wanted to visit him. I hope I didn't misunderstand.”

There's no answer. But, Agam was already convinced by the answer he thought to himself.

“Whatever your plan is, if you hurt Ava, I'll make sure you regret it.”

Agam was about to go inside, Vian then said, “You're afraid Sara's falling in love with me again? I know he married you not because he loved you.”

He took off his mask in front of me. That fast.

Yes, from ‘Mas’ to ‘kamu’. Pretty quick change.

Agam's heart wasn't inflamed hearing Vian say that. But beating this man right now and in that place will not bring good results.

Agam held it very well.

“I don't need anyone else to tell me who Sara loves. You took it off 4 years ago. And during that time, you knew nothing about his life while with me.”

I went after that. There's no need for it to go any further. He had already quite clearly figured out how the real Vian was. And what he had to do to protect Ava.

But Ava thinks of him as an evil sister.

“Mas Agam did this not because Sara told you to, right? I know he said something with his fingers as he held onto the hand of Mas,” Oceh Ava who followed Agam to his study once their meeting ended.

“He asked permission not to be there. But I forced him there. She's my wife, Ava. That means he deserves to be there too. And that decision I made after talking to Arya. Sara doesn't know anything,” said Agam.

“Mas, at least give Al a chance to prove himself,” Ava said trying to once again convince Agam.

“And the FTC is his chance. If he wants to prove himself, do that at FTC.” Neither would I lose.

Ava then sat herself down roughly on the chair in front of Agam's desk. He sounded tired of arguing with his brother.

“Why can Mas trust Sara so much, but can't trust Al? Mama's right. Mas've been blinded by him.”

Agam almost snorted so upset he was with what he had just heard. I don't know what her stepmother said to her little sister who didn't know anything. But it is precisely because of Ava's ignorance that makes Agam have to endure his anger.

“How about yourself? Why do you trust Al so much, but can't trust Sara?,” asked Agam.

“Mas! Sara's been deceiving a lot of people. And Mas is one of them,” Ava said in a raised voice. He sounded so sure of what he believed.

“And let me guess who you heard it from? The mama? Al?”

“Mas! At least trust us.”

Agam massaged his forehead which had begun to feel dizzy. The ringing in his ears even reappeared once he heard Ava's high voice. It's probably not just Ava. There were too many shrill sounds that he heard today.

“Quite, Ava!,” said Agam while opening his right palm in front of Ava. That's all and he doesn't have to scream.

“You believe what you believe. I'm the same. But one thing you should know, Ava. Not everything you hear is true. Find out your truth first before you believe it.”

“Mas!”

“Ava ..” Sara's call eventually stops Ava.

“W-time Mas Agam take medicine and rest. Maybe you can come back tomorrow and talk again.”

Holding his forehead, Agam smiled behind his hand as he heard Sara's reasoning.

He was saving me. That's why he sounds nervous.

But at least that way worked. Ava left later without much of a word. Only the annoyance still piles up.

Agam doesn't care. He still continued to massage his still throbbing forehead.

But then, a gentle touch had already replaced his hand. Sara was already massaging it.

“After this climb to the top of the break only, yes,” pinta Sara weld.

Agam just nodded, then took Sara's hand that was still holding her forehead. Agam then leaned on Sara who was standing next to him. He felt much calmer now.

Today is not an easy day. But he hopes there is an easy way to solve all these complex problems.
