Love That Starts With Hate

Love That Starts With Hate
Finally Goodbye

The taxi that took me stopped right in front of the employee's door in the parking lot. I lowered my right leg which was still wrapped in bandages first, before the tip of my wand touched the rough asphalt of the parking lot. After being completely convinced, my left leg started to balance my body out from inside the taxi that was driving me.

I'm not so sure I'm going to step up straight once I'm inside. But, I'm sick of hiding like a coward. I'm not guilty. I'm not a troublemaker. That's what I've repeatedly told myself. I will still work to my ability.

An elevator led me to the third floor where my office was located.

Just as I thought, every eye that knew me would look at me, glaring at me, as if I was wearing the wrong clothes or had just come home from a party last night where Cinderella lost her pretty dress and glass shoes. Then they whispered to each other.

Let alone.

I kept walking, even though I was limped off with a stick that made me look helpless. Just temporarily, I thought, bracing myself to step up and push the door where maybe I would see Harrish again.

I'm all set. I can handle it.

I took my place back in the chair that I had left long enough. I really miss him. Frankly, this is the best job I've ever had and an impressive first job. Suddenly I want to get back to being busy taking care of everything like arranging meetings and taking care of necessities Unfortunately, I have a limitation now –although not for long, but it just makes me sad.

While turning on the computer, someone suddenly opened the door.

The harrish!

I usually stand up straight to greet him. But, now I need time just to grab my stick and stand up.

It turned out that it was not Harrish who stepped in without knocking on the door. But Tanti who made me so not witty because she carried a small child aged three years –fruit love with Harrish. The boy was very handsome, like his father.

“Harrish no ?” ask him in passing and open Harrish's office door instantly.

I'm trying to chase. Strange, if I try to stop him. But, I just don't know if Harrish has come or not. The door closed once the woman entered with her son. And I was silent before him, for I could hear the faint sound of conversation as a sign that Harrish was already inside.

“I'm the same Alfie would like to shop at the next mall," Tanti's voice was heard speaking. "We want to make sure Daddy.”.

I close the door, so as not to listen to anything else.I sit back in my chair, even though my morning spirit disappears instantly. But, never mind, I'll get used to it myself.

Ten minutes later, the door opened. Tanti and the ballerina came out first before Harrish followed, then was quite surprised to find me. But, soon he turned his attention to carrying his son –ya, it made me only able to bow down until they dispersed.

“Yes already, if so we go first yes, Daddy..," said Tanti while waving the hand of the little boy who seemed unwilling to part.

They are a whole family. And I was petrified like a statue, looking at them expressionlessly with nanar.

“Makasih..," said the woman as she turned to me.

I didn't see his face, but I knew it was meant for me. Then he disappeared behind the exit. Then silence for a few moments.

“You've healed ?” ask Harrish suddenly.

I started to notice that he seemed to be acting normal. At least that's what I need.

I'm nodding.

“Good if that's the case," he said, before returning to his office.

I took a long breath. Fortunately, it soon passed from before me…

Twelve o'clock, it's lunch time. Usually, my phone will ring. Jessica called for an exclusive Irish lunch special cooking special for us. But, of course we have to sneak into the kitchen. Yeah, I miss him. But now I have to get used to eating in the employee cafeteria with ration lunches prepared at the buffet table.

I took a Styrofoam plate on one pile to pick up the rice. Suddenly, it fell out of my grip. I intend to grab it, but I can't.

Shit, my fingertips can't even touch it. There were a lot of people around me walking around and waiting in line, but no one helped me pick it up.

“Honey, what are you doing collecting garbage? Make eyke sebel..," reprimanded someone who suddenly pulled my body to stand back up. The sound with that distinctive style of –kemayu and waving, made me very relieved. Irish took the Styrofoam plate and threw it in the trash. "Go with the same eye, pretty." he asked while holding my left arm. He seemed to be ignoring the people who were busy skinning me earlier.

Yes, Irish again made me a special lunch menu – especially for me.

Apparently, someone still cares about me.

“Seneng deh can see yey again.. eyke kirain the Prince Charming it has already mecat yey too... eyke to mind... know not the hell ?” said. "Eyke has no more friends, jeung.”.

I replied with a blank smile. Does Irish know what happened to me and Jessica now?

But, the name Prince Charming is a bit tickling. Since when did he call the person whose picture he told to throw with an egg was Prince Charming; even Jessica was inspired to throw it directly with the egg blatantly?

I'm silent.

“Jeung Jessica is missing, Chin. "Temen will not want ugly friends until like that.”.

I still don't want to comment on Jessica right now. I want to forget it because it just makes me fall back.

“But, eyke so astonished, Chin. Yey really has a relationship with the big boss?” ask him, looking curious. "Why could it? Yey knows ama eyke.yey would prefer ama brondong rather than that kind of tuir so, jeung.”.

Irish makes me laugh. But, for some reason I suddenly became wanting to be frank. At least answer her curiosity. Let him know that my position now is not a woman who makes Harrish split the bed with his wife. Gossip lately has gotten too far on me. But, by telling one person the truth, the gossip no longer makes me restless in the crowd. For the next up.

I went back to my chair, behind the desk and started working on my daily reports. I was relieved, not too much work came my way but I became a little suspicious.

Suddenly my phone rang. The DIRECTORS code is flickering on its LED screen.

“Halo, good afternoon," I said as soon as I picked up the call.

“To the room now," Harrish ordered, quickly before the phone was immediately closed at the end of the short sentence.

Yes, I immediately grabbed my wand, and stood up from the chair. I don't need to prepare myself just to stand in front of him impeccably. Because there are flaws that can be seen clearly now.

“You've been really healthy ?” harrish asked me, and he sat in his big boss chair. He seemed to control the air around here to be tense for me.

“Still healing, sir," I replied confidently. "But, it's okay”

“Sabina, walking is already difficult," he said reminding me of my limitations. "You won't be as productive as you used to be.”.

“But, just temporarily, sir..," I insist.

“Price of your feet torn !” he reminded me again with a louder saura, until I was completely silent and downcast. “Do not think I do not know!”

Frankly, I was a bit surprised. Turns out he knows…

“I can't make you keep working here." he said. "Even if you want to, but physically you will not be able to! Not to mention the recent gossip that makes you become months”

“I don't care. I'm not afraid.”.

“This is not a problem you are afraid or brave, "he said. "I can't let this last longer.”.

What does that mean?, I looked at him confused.

“You're fired, Sabina," he said and I hope I didn't hear wrong.

I was still frozen in front of him. Still trying to understand it. Fired? Am I finally fired?

“Yes, you're fired. From tomorrow you no longer need to go to the office," he gave the warning clearly.

Ya-Tu-han, finally-i-fired!
