LOVE THE CHILDREN OF JURAGAN

LOVE THE CHILDREN OF JURAGAN
Please Hug me

Slowly Yasmin opened her eyes. The hospital's distinctive smell goes straight into his olfactory senses. The walls and ceiling of the room were white, making Yasmin sure that she must be in the hospital.

"Need something?" the voice of Erdana.

Yasmin looked to the left. The man who had become her husband stood not far from his bed.

"Need something?" Erdana repeated her question.

"I want a drink."

Erdana took a glass filled with water, which was located on the nightstand. He helps Yasmin to wake up so she can drink.

"Is there anything you want again?" ask Erdana.

"I want to be alone." Yasmin said.

Erdana. "I went to the hospital cafe first to buy coffee." Erdana leaves Yasmin's treatment room. He was tired and sleepy.

Yasmin looked at the back of Erdana who disappeared behind the door. He tried to remember what happened.

When Erdana wakes him up and tells him that his grandmother is dead, Yasmin has felt that her whole body is like losing strength. Erdana even had to beat up Yasmin as they entered the funeral home.

When he saw his grandmother's body put in a burrow, Yasmin could no longer hold herself back. He immediately fell unconscious. And here he is now.

Yasmin's cries broke again. She remembers her grandparents' love for her. He remembered how they had so much fun.

"Oh my God, why did you take them so quickly?" yasmin said among his sobs. Yasmin got up and leaned her back on the head of the bed. He feels very weak. His stomach even felt cramping. She continued to cry until the door of her treatment room opened. Erdana walked in while holding a glass of coffee in her hand.

"Yasmin, what's wrong?"' asked Erdana while approaching. He put the coffee he held on the table and got closer to the bed.

Yasmin's cry deepened. The faces of his grandparents played on his eyes.

"Yasmine.....!" call Erdana. The next time he dared to touch Yasmin's shoulder.

"Hug me.....!" yasmin said among his sobs.

Erdana was surprised to hear Yasmin's request. Is this really what Yasmin wanted?

"Hug me ....!"

Erdana slowly brought Yasmin into his arms. Yasmin instantly wrapped her hands around Erdana's waist, drowning her head in the man's chest as her cries deepened.

"Grandpa....grandmother.....!"' yasmin's cries grew stronger.

A bit stiff Erdana tried to rub Yasmin's back. "Take them off, Yasmin. Because this is God's destiny. We pray for them that God will give them the best place in heaven because they are both very good people."

Yasmin continued to hug Erdana's waist until finally the door of her room opened. Satria, Gayatri, Naura and Vishnu enter. Yasmin instantly regained her senses and let go of her embrace. He himself was confused why he had to hug Erdana.

The two couples looked happy to see their children hugging each other.

"Yasmin darling.........!" gayatri.

"Mother....., why did grandma leave us too?"

Gayatri wiped away her daughter's tears. "We're all sad, son. But we cannot oppose God's decision. Yasmin knows that we will all be like grandparents. It's just a different time."

"Who else is Yasmin, ma'am?"

"There is still your father, mother, your two in-laws, and your husband. We'll give you love and care so you don't feel lonely." said Satria.

"Yes, kid. Don't feel sad, do you? Remember, you're pregnant." Connect Naura.

Yasmin nodded. He is trying hard to face the reality of the departure of two of his loved ones.

For 3 days Yasmin was hospitalized. Erdana faithfully accompanied him even though in the room the two were more silent.

When the time came home, Yasmin asked to deliver to her parents' house because she wanted to be there to commemorate the 7 days of her grandmother's death.

"Er, you're going to sleep here too right?" gayatri asked as Erdana was about to leave her office.

Erdana was silent for a moment. Staying at her in-laws' house meant she had to sleep one room with Yasmin.

"That's what I told Yasmin, ma'am" Imbuh Erdana. He is happy because Yasmin gives a way out of his worries of having to sleep one room with Yasmin.

"All right." Gayatri nodded in agreement, although in reality she did not agree that Yasmin and Erdana should separate.

"Yasmin, don't call Erdana big brother. You must call him mas or brother." Gayatri said when Erdana was gone.

Yasmin rolled her eyes lazily. "Mom knows how our marriage is."

Gayatri could only shake her head. He was confused by the way his son had their marriage.

Tahlilan's event on the death of Yasmin's grandmother went well. At 8 p.m., all the guests who were present had gone home. Naura and Vishnu and Daffa chose to stay for a while with their families.

"Date, tomorrow is not work. Stay here." said Naura.

"Yes. So that tomorrow afternoon you can return with Yasmin to the apartment." said Satria.

"Well, why throw me out, anyway?" Yasmin sulks. He wanted to stay longer at his parents' house.

"Not driving away, son. You said yourself that if Erdana had to stay here, she would be in her office for too long." Gayatri. "A wife should be with her husband."

Yasmin was only silent while Erdana was seen as also silent expressionless. He believes that his parents and Yasmin's parents are trying to make their relationship better.

At 10 p.m., Vishnu, Naura and Daffa returned to their homes. Erdana seems to still be talking to Satria in the living room.

"Nak Erdana, get some rest. It's late at night."

"Good, dad. I'm gonna get a change of clothes in the car." Erdana moved from her seat. He went out of the house and took clothes in a paper bag and went back inside.

"Yasmin's room is on the second floor. From the stairs turn to the right, first room." said Gayatri.

"Well, ma'am." said Erdana. Her steps were heavy when she climbed the stairs. But he stepped up too. He arrived at the door of a white room. His hand slowly knocked on the door of the room.

The door to the room is open. Looks Yasmin has changed clothes with a home negligee. He widened the door and Erdana entered without a sound.

"I'm gonna take a shower. Where's the bathroom?" ask Erdana.

"There!" Yasmin pointed at a glass door. Erdana also stepped inside while carrying her paper bag. As he was about to take off his clothes, he realized that he was not carrying a towel. He's out again. Yasmin was just about to get on her bed.

"Yasmin, can I borrow a clean towel?"

Yasmin silently headed to her wardrobe. He took a white towel and gave it to Erdana.

When the boy went back into the bathroom, Yasmin climbed into the bed after taking a pillow and a blanket and putting it on her desk.

When Erdana had finished bathing, he saw that the main light had been extinguished. All that was lit was a small lamp in the corner of the room. Erdana's eyes stared at the blankets and pillows placed on Yasmin's study table. Erdana knew Yasmin didn't want her to sleep in the same bed as him.

In Yasmin's room there was only one single sofa. There's no way Erdana's gonna sleep there. So Erdana chose to sleep on the carpet. The carpet in Yasmin's room was quite thick. Although Erdana believes that his body will hurt all if he wakes up in the morning but he has no other choice.

At midnight Erdana awoke to Yasmin's delirious voice.

"Grandfather...grandfather......!"

Erdana got up and approached Yasmin's bed.

"Yasmin....., what are you?" Erdana pats Yasmin's cheek.

Yasmin opened her eyes. "Hug me. Don't leave me!"

Erdana is surprised but Yasmin pulls Erdana's hand.

"Hug me....! Don't stay with me, grandfather." Yasmin said as she pulled Erdana's hand to hug her from behind.
