The teaching of Asta Brata is as follows:

Indra Brata \= Means that leaders should follow the properties of Lord Indra as a rain-giver god, giving prosperity to the people.

Yama Brata \= Means that leaders should follow the nature of Lord Yama, namely creating laws, enforcing laws and giving fair punishment to everyone who is guilty.

Surya Brata \= The leader should give fair and equitable lighting to all the people he leads and always take care as the sun is very careful in absorbing water.

Candra Brata \= The leader should always be able to show a calm and radiant face so that the community he leads feels confident in the greatness of the soul of the leader.

Bayu Brata \= Leaders should always be able to know and investigate the actual circumstances and will, especially the circumstances of the people whose lives suffer the most

Kuwera Brata \= Leaders should be wise to use funds or money and there is always a desire to prosper the community and not to be a waste that will harm the State and Society.

Baruna Brata \=Leaders should be able to eradicate all forms of diseases that develop in society, such as unemployment, juvenile delinquency, theft and state security intruders.

Agni Brata \= The leader must have traits that can always motivate the growth of the knightly nature and the zeal that flared in subduing his enemies
