Loving My Brother's Fiancee

Loving My Brother's Fiancee
29. Ibra's Progress

At 10:00 Handi came home in a hurry. He received a call from his wife saying that Ibra had opened her eyes. The man immediately left the company and left all the work to Abra. Handi wants his eldest son to remain in the company.

The man did not want Abraham to know that Ibra had opened his eyes. Handi ran into the house regardless of greetings from his household assistants. He headed for the room that Ibra had occupied all this time, which was on the third floor.

"How is Ibra? Is it true that he opened his eyes?" ask his wife. Meanwhile, in the bed was a doctor who was checking.

"Wait a minute, Pa. We wait for what the doctor says," replied Syakila. Handi looked at his son and it was true that Ibra had opened her eyes. However, strangely he was like a puppet, only keeping silent. The doctor has finished checking the state of Ibra and approached both parents of the patient.

"How is my son?" ask the impatient Handi.

"We'd better talk in front of us" said the doctor who immediately came out of the room. Handi and Shakila followed him to the front door. The doctor explained how Ibra was doing.

"Look, Sir. Mr. Ibra had indeed opened his eyes, but he had not been able to communicate well. He can only code through eye signals. His body was not moved either."

Handi and Syakila were saddened by the state of her son. However, both of them were relieved, at least Ibra had an improvement. They just need to be patient. When the time is right, hopefully Ibra can recover completely.

"About how long, Doctor, will my son be back to his normal state?" ask Sandy again.

"I can't confirm it, sir.hopefully it won't be five months."

Handi rubbed his face violently. Five months is a long time. The two months that have passed have been so long. Especially having to wait a little longer. Seeing Ibra's parents who were silent, the doctor said goodbye because he felt there were no more questions.

"I have to go back to the hospital again. If there are any further developments, contact me immediately. Hopefully Mr. Ibra can recover soon. For medicine, it seems like it is still enough for a few days. When the cure runs out I'll be here again."

"Thank you, Doc."

The doctor left because there were still many patients waiting for him. Meanwhile, Handi and Syakila enter the room occupied by Ibra. His son looked at those who were approaching. The middle-aged woman sat on the edge of the bed and clasped Ibra's palm with a smile.

"Mama's happy to hear if you've made any progress. Now you can see. I hope you can talk and walk as soon as possible. Mama and Papa are looking for the perpetrator who did this to you. For Mama and Papa, only you are our encouragement," Syakila said with teary eyes. Ibra just winked in response to her mother.

"You need to get well soon in order to lead the company. Everyone is waiting for you" said Handi, who was by his wife's side. The man gave his wife a code to get out.

After the death of Handi, Syakila talked a lot to her son about what happened after Ibra was not aware, except about the existence of Abra of course. Ibra just silently listened, occasionally smiling to see how enthusiastic the mother told her.

It's not that Ibra doesn't know anything about her twin brother. Although he had been asleep all this time, but his brain and mind were still functioning. The man knew everything about Abra and what happened. Salwa Included.

Ibra does not want Salwa to fall in love with Abra. That's what made him try so hard to wake up. He did not want anything of his to belong to his twin brother. From the very beginning Salwa was his future wife so, the woman had to really be his wife.

"Yes already, darling. You rest first, Mama wants to meet Papa for lunch. Mama's out first, huh?"

Ibra blinked her eyes again with a sign of disobedience. Syakila left her son after raising the blanket. Although not willing, the woman had to leave because there was something she needed to talk about with her husband.

On the first floor, Handi gathered all her household assistants. The man told me who all this time they thought was Ibra. Some of them know and some don't. Handi also ordered to shut up about the development of Ibra on Abra. Everyone nodded because they did not want to lose their jobs.

"Until Ibra is fully healed."

"But, it will definitely hurt him a lot" Syakila said. As a mother, she could not bear to see her son feeling sad. Abra, however, was still his son despite their years apart.

"When did you ever care about her? Remember, he is a useless child. He never makes us proud in the slightest and always makes trouble."

Syakila no longer said anything. He was sure that Abra would be able to take care of himself. The proof has been fifteen years of his eldest son living abroad in good condition.

*****

During the day, Salwa awoke. The woman looked around, apparently there was no Abra by her side even though she wished that the man was still here. Salwa got out of bed, intending to find food because her stomach had rung asking to be filled.

"Non Salwa, wake up! Aunty hasn't made porridge yet," scolded Bik Sumi.

"Who wants porridge, Bik?" salwa asked because she herself felt she had not said anything.

"So Mr. Ibra said make porridge for Non."

"I don't want to porridge, Bik. I want to eat the grilled fish gurame continue to be given spicy sambal."

Bik Sumi gawked. How can people who are sick even want to eat sambal. To refuse is also impolite. "Auntie doesn't buy fish, Non. No one at home likes it. Non also tumben want to eat fish, usually never want?"

"Not knowing, Bik. Suddenly I want to."

"But nothing here, Non!"

"No papa, Bik. I ordered food." Salwa immediately fiddled with her phone and ordered the food she wanted. Smile, continue to decorate the beautiful face of the woman.

"Don't be spicy, Non. Remember that! Non Salwa just healed," reprimanded Bik Sumi, immediately making Salwa speechless.

The woman had almost forgotten about her physical condition. Fortunately, there was Bik Sumi who reminded him. Salwa rubbed her flat stomach which was covered by the dining table so, no one saw her movements.

Now it is not only about his condition that must be considered, but there is also a prospective child. As a mother, she wants the best for her baby.

Salwa promised to give more affection. He did not want his son to feel what the woman was feeling. Living with wealth, unable to make him happy.
