After putting her things in Alvi's car, they look for a restaurant to fill the stomach. Alvi really enjoys this togetherness, because he spends time with Navya not in working hours. Impressed like a couple.
There was guilt in his heart at Dafin. Speaking of Dafin, he spent several hours with Navya but not once did the girl receive a call or hold a cell phone that indicated someone was asking about her whereabouts. Except for the call from Finny when they arrived in front of the restaurant earlier. The rest is not there.
"Sorry before Vy, can I ask you something?"
"Please sir."
"You and Dafin, we're not fighting, are we?"
Navya choked to hear Alvi's question. He grabbed a glass of water that Alvi put on him and drank it. "Slowly eat it."
"Thank you sir."
"You haven't answered my question, are you okay with Dafin?"
"I.iya Sir. Why is that sir?"
"No, I'm just surprised. You're the newlyweds, and you're out alone. But I never once heard Dafin ask about you or your whereabouts."
Navya's face instantly changed, not because Alvi interfered in her personal affairs. But the words of Alvi reminded him that Dafin really did not consider himself to exist. From earlier he sent a message Dafin did not even read it let alone reply to it.
"Oh, there's a sir. Mas Dafin called me, but I couldn't pick up. Not wrong after the beach."
"Certainly so?"
"I.iya Sir. I was afraid to pick up the phone Mas Dafin Pak, later if he knew I was almost robbed he panicked could-can his work be interrupted."
Explain to Alvi but he did not dare to look into the eyes of his boss.
Alvi nodded in understanding, but with suspicion in her heart, she was sure that there was something Navya was hiding.
They continued to eat their food until it was finished and decided to return to the hotel. Alvi held off Navya who was about to get out of the chair after they finished with their eating activities. "Why Sir?"
"It's for you." She handed him a blue box in front of her. Navya knows the box, it contains a pearl necklace that Alvi asked her to choose earlier. He was surprised, why Alvi even handed the necklace to him.
"But Sir.."
"I don't accept rejection. It's Order!" Alvi hands the box into Navya's hands. "Thank you for accompanying me today."
Before hearing the protests from Navya, Alvi leaves the girl and walks out. Followed by Navya who is still confused by the situation.
"Let's go in, I'll take you to the hotel." Alvi had already opened the car door, but Navya was still standing where she was.
"But sir, I can't take this. It's too expensive sir."
"If you don't want to wear it, or you feel bad if Dafin sees it. You keep it. But you can't refuse. If you refuse, I'll cut your salary every month for the price of the necklace." He got into the car, unwilling to hear any protests from Navya.
The girl fell silent, the boss could have threatened her not to refuse. His orders had nothing to do with work problems. "Pak Alvi why is this weird, right maybe he is...." He still looked at the thing in his hand, then shook his head strongly. What he was thinking, there was no way that his boss would put his heart on him.
Then he was shocked when the car window opened.
"So you're just gonna stay there?"
"Yes sir, I'm sorry." Then Navya got into the car with a feeling that was difficult to explain.
Along the way to the hotel Navya did not open the sound. The atmosphere turned a little awkward between them. Alvi seemed to know what Navya was thinking finally the first one to talk.
"When are you guys home?"
"Possible day after tomorrow, sir. You alone until when is here?"
"It's possible until your leave is over." Alvi originally answered only, but the fact is that he does not focus on working without Navya. Though he has always been a professional person while working, but since there Navya he became changed.
"Oohh so." The girl also did not focus too much on Alvi's answer.
One second...two seconds..three seconds.four... Just realizing what he heard turned his head quickly towards Alvi.
"I mean Father?"
"Let me sir, I don't feel good if anyone sees you bringing my things."
"You can be alone?" Navya then nodded and took the paperbag in Alvi's hands.
"Yes already then. You come in, I still have an appointment with someone." Alvi got back in her car.
"Okay sir, thank you for everything sir." Navya spoke while bowing her head.
Alvi replied with a smile then drove her car away from the hotel parking area.
Without them noticing there were two pairs of eyes that were watching them. Dafin looked at the interaction between Navya and Alvi from a distance, that gaze was difficult for anyone to interpret.
"Do you know who that guy is? Looks like they're very close." Hana asked but rather wanted to know Dafin's reaction when she saw them.
"That's Navya's boss, Alvian Mahendra."
"Why is he here? Navya's on leave, right? Isn't it weird that they just happened to meet here?"
"I don't care, it's none of my business."
As Dafin moved from where she was sitting, Hana smiled faintly when she saw Dafin's reaction.
They had just finished a meeting with a client, and were intending to return to the room for a break. Dafin stepped quickly and seemed rushed, while Hana with her high heels tried to compensate for Dafin's steps. Suddenly...
Bruck!!
The girl fell right behind Dafin.
"Hana!" Dafin turned around and found Hana sitting on the floor, quickly approaching the girl. "Are you okay?" Dafin helped Hana stand up.
"It's okay." Said the girl flat.
"You sure?" Dafin crouched down to look at Hana's leg, there was a slight bruise on her ankle. Dafin touched her which elicited a painful reaction from the girl "This is Hana's bruise. Let me help you to the room."
Dafin took Hana to her room. As he passed through the door of his room and Navya, Dafin took a quick glance. Once inside the room, Dafin took Hana to sit on the sofa and opened the shoes that Hana was wearing.
"You've got topical medicine ?"
"Hmm. It's in my bag. It's there." Pointing to the place where he kept his bag. Dafin took her and applied it on Hana's bruised leg. "Hold a little.."
"You okay, aren't you Fin?"
"I why?!" Dafin had already placed the medicine on the table and sat down next to Hana.
"You're in a hurry to see Navya, right? You said it didn't matter what he did. But you turned riled up after seeing him with that man."
Dafin. She doesn't care what Navya does or who she's with. But seeing so close to someone in public, according to Dafin was inappropriate. There could have been Dafin acquaintances who saw them and thought he was having an affair. That's what pisses him off.
"You jealous?"
"Where possible! You know why I married her. And we both know how we feel."
"Then why are you upset?"
"Hana... He has the status as who you currently also understand, if anyone sees him with others like that what they think. It could be me and my family who will suffer the consequences. You understand what I mean?"
Hana was silent for a while, looking for honesty in Dafin's eyes. "You're not lying, are you?"
"I've always told you everything, don't you trust me anymore?"
"I believe." Hana embraced Dafin and was reciprocated by the man. "Don't you forget your promise?"
"I promise. Six months. You just have to last six more months." Hana nodded in the man's arms. While Dafin gently stroked her long hair.
