Navya's Smile

"We're leaving now." Alvi was already in front of her assistant's desk. They will have an appointment at a cafe owned by a client.

"Ready Boss." Immediately stand up while carrying a notebook and his handbag.

Navya slightly ran to compensate for Alvi's long strides. Ryan was already waiting for them in the car in front of the company lobby.

Until there they were welcomed by the owner who is a client Alvi and a cafe manager. The meeting will take place in his private room.

The meeting that was interspersed with lunch was relaxed because his client was Alvi's college friend while undergoing S2 education abroad. Talking about work and reunion, because they have only met since graduating from college.

"Sir, I'm sorry to go outside for a moment."

"Yes, please."

Their work is done, so just have a light chat about their college memories. Navya so uncomfortable, because he felt not connected with their discussion then he decided to take a walk around the park in the outdoor-themed cafe area.

Navya was sitting on a park chair when her eyes caught the figure of someone she knew. The man was alone with a cup of drink in front of him. Navya decided to approach, wanting to ask who the man had come with.

But even before Navya reaches out to the table where Ega is sitting, the girl hears a familiar voice in her ears. Ega who realized Navya's presence immediately stood up and looked confused, should he tell Navya's arrival. But Navya puts her index finger on the lips, hinting Ega to be quiet. Ega just bowed respectfully to her and let herself hear Dafin and Papi talk.

Dafin moved out of his chair, surprised to see his wife suddenly there.

"Via?"

Navya just smiled.

"Navya...."

"Mas Dafin with Papi, lunch again." Navya walked up to Damar who was still sitting, also looking surprised by Navya's presence there. Navya shakes up Damar.

"What are you doing here, honey?" Damar asked.

"Vya just finished meeting with Mr. Alvi. But he still talks to clients. Papi and Mas Dafin have been here a long time?"

"I.iya, I'm kind of. we just finished. Papi wants to go home, too." Damar got up from his seat.

"Hmm. Yeah, be careful Pi."

"Papi first... Greetings to Al."

"Let Vya deliver Pi." Damar passed from there with Ega, passing Dafin while patting his son's shoulder slowly. Like giving confidence, that he can solve everything well.

"Can we talk Navya?"

"Vya is at work Mas, can we talk at home?"

"But I want to talk now."

"Mas, this is a public place. It's not a good thing we're discussing household matters in a place like this."

Alvi was standing not far from where he and Navya were, staring at them. Realizing that, Dafin approached Navya and kissed the girl on the forehead.

"Okay, I'll wait for you at home." There was no reaction from Navya, Dafin went from there leaving him in silence. A blank smile stuck on his lips.

"Are you okay?" Alvi was already in front of him.

"I'm okay Sir. Why did you come out?"

"Oh, I'm done talking, let's go back to the office." (Padahal Alvi does not want to let Navya alone for waiting for him)

"Yes sir."

They walk towards the car park, Navya wonder why the car keys are in Alvi's hands.

"Well, where's Ryan going sir?"

"She has to take care of something, so she goes first." Alvi asks Ryan for the car keys, he wants to drive himself and get back alone with Navya. Ryan was picked up by the office driver. (Ryan: Go in between by me, now he told me to go home alone 😭. You're Boss Bucin)

"Ohh so."

On the way there is not much they talk about. Just discuss the work and the results of the meeting.

"Sir why we turn, to the office is straight."

"It's okay sir."

Navya just come along, anyway she went with the person who paid her. So he's not including skipping work. Even though he currently wants to be alone. Not surprised by some of the conversations he heard. Some of her heart was relieved, know her husband's heart. But mostly she was anxious, Dafin did not want to choose, the man loved them both. There was no way Navya would survive this situation, what if Dafin also wanted to marry Hana. He is unable to share.

Although he currently knows Dafin's relationship with Hana, what Navya hopes is that slowly Dafin's attention will be able to be captured and the man can release Hana to choose with him.

Daydreaming, immersed in his own thoughts. Alvi knew that the girl was not okay, so he took the initiative to take her somewhere that he might want to go at this time. Before that he stopped at a minimarket.

"What do you want, sir?" Be aware that the car stops.

"I want to buy mineral water."

"Let me buy it sir." He opened his safety belt.

"No, let me. You just rest in the car."

"But Sir... " Just throw a smile then come out without waiting for Navya to finish her words.

Actually Navya felt bad, why so Alvi who came out and bought drinking water. It should be her job, Alvi's her boss.

A few minutes later Alvi was seen coming out of the minimarket with one large plastic bag in her hand. Navya looked at the Boss, walking towards the car. Well-established and handsome man, why unmarried not even have a boyfriend. Is there a woman he's waiting for. Or the standard of his choice is very high, so that some women acquaintances there is nothing that fits in the heart.

His mind was blown away as Alvi opened the car door and sat behind the wheel.

"You daydreaming again?" Alvi smiled looking at the surprised Navya as she got into the car just now.

"Huh?! Not really sir. When do I dream." His rebut.

"It's for you." Two large chocolates he offered to Navya.

"Brown? What's it for, sir?"

"Yes to Navya's eat.." He grabbed Navya's hand and placed the chocolate on it.

"Do you mean buy this chocolate for me?"

Alvi took a deep breath and exhaled her strongly. Taking a chocolate bar from Navya's hand, opening it, breaking a small part and then feeding it to Navya. At todong by Alvi, makes Navya reflexively open her mouth. "That's how I use it."

Navya smiled cutely looking at the expression on Alvi's face that was a little irritated because of her.

"Well, I'm not wrong. You smile again after eating chocolate."

Navya was so astonished, what did this man in front of her mean. "Someone once said, 'Chocolate is the happiness you can eat'. I don't know if it's true or not, but I do know that most women love chocolate. Especially when they are sad."

"So you mean you gave me chocolate because I was sad?"

"Well, that's what I saw. I was like a taxi driver carrying a moody passenger."

"I'm sorry sir, I don't mean to be indifferent to you." He panicked himself, involuntarily his mood made others feel uneasy.

Always, Navya's panic makes Alvi anxious herself. "No problem, I know how you are. That's why I want to take you somewhere."

Navya gets curious where Alvi will take her. But he's not good at resisting, that boss of his is already too kind to him.

"But you promise, don't be sad anymore. I want you to be with me and always smile."

"What is Father Clown?! If you're angry, do I have to smile?"

"Hmmm, too, it's possible that your smile could ease my anger."

"Haha... You're just there."

"Don't believe it, you can try it sometime."

Epilogues

"Ryan, you have the office driver pick you up. I'd like to take Navya somewhere."
