Already one year Zahra was in Arabia, he went to school there and helped his brother work to establish an Islamic library there. All look the same, from the outside Zahra is still the same as it used to be, beautiful women who are very polite to others. But behind it all Zahra still keeps a meeting of Akbar figure in his memory.
There was no communication between them, even sometimes Zahra asked Akbar news from Bela. And Bela only answered as much as possible, because now Bela has not often come to the study that Akbar leads.
In Zahra's room he reopened the letter from Akbar and the Koran given from him. Zahra's memory returned when she was still in school in Indonesia, the incident at school and Akbar's smile still vividly remembered in her mind. Zahra resigned with everything, he only wished God the best for him and Akbar.
After graduation Zahra will continue his studies there with Bela who will come to see him that day. Even Zahra also wanted to hear the story about Akbar from his best friend. Since his meeting at the boarding school, they have completely lost contact, even Akbar's phone number has been changed.
"Assalamu'alaikum."
"Wa'alaikumsalam." Zahra turned her head and smiled as she looked at Bela who was standing before her with a suitcase.
Zahra immediately hugged Bela and invited her to go to the house. Arriving at home they immediately met abi who was in his study.
"How are you bell?" Ask abi.
"Alhamdulillah good abi, umi where?" Answer Bela.
"Umi ngisi studying, you rest first there, later delivered Zahra ya." Said abi.
"Yes abi." Bela came out of the abi workspace and walked to meet Zahra who was in the living room.
"Where's my room Zahra? I'm gonna take a break ah!" Bela said with the face she made tired.
Zahra just smiled then walked to the second floor showing Bela's room. But Bela just put a suitcase in her room and then she went into her best friend's room.
"Say you want a break?" Zahra closed her laptop.
"I just want to know how my best friend is doing." Reply Bela sleeps on Zahra's bed.
"You can see that I'm okay." Zahra looked at Bela.
"Is there something you're hiding from me?" Bela asked seriously looking at Zahra.
Zahra instantly turned her face away when she was stared at by her own best friend, "nothing." The answer.
"Didn't you miss Zahra?" Tanya Bela opened her phone and looked at her Instagram.
Zahra smiled slightly, "on whom?"
Bela breathed his coarse breath, "on brother Akbar! Don't you miss him?"
Zahra was silent for a moment with a lowered face as Bela asked such a thing.
"It's been a year, Bela, I think everything's gonna look fine." Answer Zahra.
Bela knows that her best friend has something she is eager to tell, but Zahra doesn't know how to tell her. Bela tries to convince Zahra and nothing will happen if she talks about her feelings.
"I thought you were hiding your feelings for Brother Akbar." Said Bela.
"I don't know what love is. I just love it when he's in the mosque to pray." Zahra.
"It wasn't just Zahra, but you liked it. Last time I heard, brother Akbar was setting up a company with his best friend, and he said it went well. But I don't know what field I'm in. Emm... And I think they're communicating with each other." Bela showed Hawa's instagram post that ngetag Akbar's instagram.
"Calm down, Akbar didn't put a picture of a woman on his Instagram except for a picture of Khadijah and his mother." Connect Bela.
"Can I see?" Ask Zahra.
Bela nodded. Both of Zahra's eyes glazed over to see Khadija growing up as a teenage girl, and she could not turn her back on her heart if indeed Zahra longed for Akbar's family, he missed the mother who was so simple and so tender to treat him. Zahra smiled and gave the phone to Bela.
The sound of the door being knocked, and a housekeeper told them that later tonight there was something Umi was talking about when she finished dinner together.
Zahra immediately cleared his throat wrongly, he took his drink and chugged it out. Zahra's two eyes implied that something was up since the housekeeper had spoken about something that seemed serious. Bela looked at Zahra deeply so that her friend could tell her the truth about her heart, but only the smile of compulsion that Zahra displayed.
Zahra grabbed her phone at the study table to call someone, but she decided to cancel it, she let out a long sigh and fell silent.
"Is there something Zahra?" Ask Bela softly.
Zahra shook her head slowly with a smile.
"What's the matter exactly? Why do you look so nervous?" Ask Bela worried.
"Later you will hear the bell, tidy your clothes yuk! I'm helping." Zahra clasped Bela's hand to get out of her room.
After the Maghrib prayer, Zahra and Bela went down to the dining room. They've seen abi and umi waiting for them, umi smiles looking at Zahra. After eating, Zahra did not go straight into the room to study, she had to hear what the ummah would say.
"Zahra, there is a young man who wants to worship you, Umi and abi like him, he comes from a family that upholds the religion of Islam, he is also a polite young man, and is good at thinking." Umi.
Bela's surprise is very visible when he looks at Zahra who subdues her face, Bela does not know what is on the mind of her best friend, because without Zahra talking to her he knows that Zahra loves Akbar. As Zahra showed her beautiful face, her two beautiful eyes looked at her parents with a smile.
"Has umi and abi accepted her proposal?" Ask Zahra.
Bela was just glued to the dinner table, he wanted to shout to Zahra's parents that their daughter loved the man who was pioneering his business in Indonesia. Bela withheld all his words, though he did not know why Zahra was so patient with matters of heart and feelings.
"Emmm... Zahra doesn't know bi, because Zahra wants to graduate first after that Zahra will decide." Zahra said she was afraid her parents would be disappointed by her attitude.
"You mean, that young man has to wait for you to graduate?" Ask abi.
Zahra nodded, "if he is not willing, it is okay to ask another woman."
"Zahra, but..."
"It's mi, it's okay. That's Zahra's decision, "abi cut off his wife's words, "the father will talk to him and his family." Abi smiled at his only child.
They also went to the room to pray isya, Bela who had finished praying first went directly into Zahra's room without knocking on the door first. He sat on the bed looking at Zahra who was praying very solemnly. Bela could only display her smile looking at her best friend's current state.
Bela wants to ask Akbar news through Instagram, but he doubts, he is afraid that Akbar does not recognize him. But Bela's heart was determinedly strong, and he didn't care about it at least he tried.
"Assalamu'alaikum sis, how are you? It's me Bela's best friend Zahra."
"What are you doing?!"
"Allahu akbar!" Bela was shocked to hear Zahra's voice.
"You tuh! Kirain hasn't finished praying." Bela.
"What are you doing again? From earlier look worried like that while looking at hp." Zahra asked folded her alphabet.
"Let's find someone on Instagram. Who knows he remembers me, hehehe." Bela replied with a forced laugh.
Bela just scrunched her forehead looking at her best friend like that.
One notification rang out on Bela's phone, with the face she opened.
"Good alhamdulillah, how are you?"
^^^"Alhamdulillah is good too. What's busy now? Emm... Can I have your sister's number?"^^^
Akbar gave me his cell phone number. Akbar hopes Bela provides information that makes his heart calm with the state of Zahra in Arabia there. Bela seizes Zahra's phone and enters Akbar's number without his knowledge. Zahra was busy with religious books, while Bela was confused by the university brochures she was going to enter, actually Bela just wanted an Arabic course and then started her business, but he knew his thoughts would not be accepted by Zahra.
Bela put the brochure next to him and he played his phone while listening to tausiyah on Instagram, Zahra just smiled to herself to see the attitude of her best friend who was like a brother to her. Before long Asti called and asked the news of the two girls, he hoped Bela could be polite and kind to the Zahra family who had raised the family's degree.
After studying, Zahra sat on her bed with Bela, who smiled at her.
"What does your smile mean?" Ask Zahra.
"I always smile at you, I say hello to you, I have to be nice to you because you have raised my family's status." Answer Bela.
Zahra looked at Bela seriously, "it was all because of God, not me or my family. Stop being so bad for me!"
"Sorry."
Zahra turned her head then returned Bela's smile and hugged her.
"Ask the news, I've kept it in your phone. Don't mind much, I'll rest." Bela left Zahra's room.
Zahra doesn't understand what her best friend is saying, she opens her phone and sees her phone contact. His hands were trembling, his heart was racing again reading the name 'Akbar' on his phone screen. Zahra's dilemma between wanting to know the news and Umi's remark about the proposal. Suddenly Bela went back into Zahra's room and grabbed Zahra's phone and called Akbar, when Akbar's voice sounded Bela immediately gave the phone to the owner and ran out of Zahra's room.
Nervously Zahra put down her vintage phone, she heard Akbar's voice again after a long time of not knowing.
"Assalamu'alaikum," said Zahra nervously.
"Wa'alaikumsalam." Reply Akbar.
Akbar was surprised to hear the woman's voice, he held back his feelings for her and her family.
"How's the bar? L'm... I'm Zahra."
The phone call was silent, Akbar sat in his bed thinking about the name of the woman he had just heard.
"God is good, you?"
"Alhamdulillah is good too. How's mom doing?"
"Alhamdulillah is good too."
"Titip greetings to him yes, assalamu'alaikum."
"Wa'alaikumsalam."
Zahra shed her tears, she couldn't hold back her feelings for almost 4 years. He is only a weak man who is defeated by love, he realizes that he has failed to build his own love. Zahra did not want to pursue her love Akbar, she would only pursue the love of God so that Allah would bring Akbar for her.
As soon as Akbar held back the crying while holding his phone, he thought that he would never hear the voice of the woman he loved again. But that day he heard it, there was even a vibration when Zahra gave his greetings, he wished Zahra well.
