Loving You Through Do'A

Loving You Through Do'A
18. Heartfill

Done prayers ashar Akbar and Furqon were sitting together in one of the cafes near their offices. They are talking about their plan to open a cafe in the Bogor area. But at around 5 pm Furqon got a call from his parents to tell him to go home because there was an urgent matter so as to facilitate their chat.

Akbar alone while drinking coffee, his left hand just looked at the screen hp like hoping there was a notification from someone. As she was about to leave, Eve suddenly came smiling kindly at her.

Eve sat in front of Akbar, already about half an hour they were in a state of silence no one started in conversation. Even Eve had only played her phone since then while occasionally glancing at Akbar's serious-looking face.

The notification that Akbar was waiting for, with the face of sumringah Akbar opened his message. Yes, the message was from Zahra far away.

"there was someone waiting for my answer, the man had talked about his good intentions to umi and abi. What do you think of the bar?"

The smile that had adorned Akbar's face immediately disappeared immediately got a message from Zahra. I don't know what the woman he loved was feeling, how could Zahra talk to her about something like that. Akbar was about to reply, but he expressed his intention, he had to think of a proper reply.

This time Akbar's eyes saw Eve who had not seen him since when.

"Why the bar?" Ask Eve.

Akbar smiled slightly, "it's okay, you used to come here?"

Eve was silent for a moment, knowing that the man in front of her was hiding something from her.

"Yes, I come here almost every day. I send greetings to you." Said Eve sipping her coffee.

"The father will take you to dinner at home. How's it?" Hawa stared at Akbar blatantly.

"When?" Ask Akbar.

"Tomorrow at night, can you?"

"God willing I will come."

Eve sighed and smiled at Akbar, "I wait for you, then I go home first. Assalamu'alaikum."

Akbar looked at Eve in surprise, "wa... Wa'alaikumsalam."

Akbar grabs his phone again and reads a message from Zahra over and over again, feeling himself defeated, like a pessimistic loser before the war. Even what he had been thinking all this time was only a new success in treating Zahra. But it turns out he was wrong, he should have spoken to Zahra's parents.

Both of Akbar's eyes glazed over, he felt regretful with his attitude all along. He opened his Instagram and saw Zahra's post last night.

..."If God says he is my soul mate, then those I do not know, who do not greet each other will become my priest. And the near one is even well known to my family, if God says not my soul mate, then he will go."...

Akbar immediately left the cafe and went back to his apartment. He was eager to call Bela asking what had happened, but Akbar again abandoned his intentions. He sat on the floor and looked at the city of Jakarta.

In a year Akbar and Furqon were arguably successful in pioneering his company. Akbar's phone rang since earlier, seeing the call from Furqon he ignored it. Akbar wanted to be alone and think about the answer Zahra asked.

Akbar's fingers began to reply to messages from Zahra.

"What's your reason for not answering?"

^^^"I want to finish my school first."^^^

"Then?"

^^^"I'll accept the proposal."^^^

"I'll come to your wedding."

Zahra was silent in her room while reading Akbar's reply, she did not expect Akbar's words. Bela's diary is still there for her, and Bela writes that Akbar loves Zahra. But now when Zahra said that, Akbar just said he would come to his party, Zahra thought that Akbar never loved him.

As Bela walked into her room, Zahra instantly wiped her tears and wiped all messages from Akbar. Then he went out of the room hungry and wanted to cook his favorite food. Bela was confused by her best friend's attitude as if hiding something from her.

In Jakarta, after Akbar said that he endured his grief, he should have no feelings for Zahra from the beginning. Because for him, Akbar is not worthy to be with Zahra.

Furqon breaks into the apartment of his best friend, he sees Akbar sitting on the floor clutching his knees. Furqon approached Akbar slowly, but heard the sound of sobbing.

With worry Furqon immediately approached him and saw a crying Akbar. Akbar immediately removed it then stood up, and acted as if nothing had happened.

"You wait, I'll take a shower." Akbar said to enter the bathroom.

While Akbar was inside, Furqon saw Akbar's phone still on and unlocked. He read all of his conversations with Zahra, but he did not expect that his best friend would say that. Because Furqon believes Akbar loves Zahra very much, even hard work during this time, sleep no more than 4 hours just for Zahra.

Furqon immediately plans to find out Zahra's future husband, he just wants to know and help his best friend confidently. Furqon immediately came out of Akbar's apartment without telling him.

...***...

That night Akbar looked very handsome, he reflected on his reflection, he smiled for a few seconds before finally the smile disappeared from his face. Akbar took a deep breath and pulled out his phone and called someone that he was leaving that night.

Arriving in front of a luxurious and magnificent house, Akbar down from his car greeted with a sweet smile by Eve, the gaze of Eve's eyes can not be separated from the figure of Akbar. With a knee-length dress and wavy hair adds to the beauty of an Eve.

Mr. Heru welcomed his special guest with a warm embrace, he invited Akbar to talk about the business Akbar was running with Furqon. Mr. Heru is proud of Akbar's youthful persistence, even Akbar must be an example of his employees in order to continue the spirit to realize his dream.

They also walked to the dining room, Eve again smiled to see her papa with Akbar and then he invited Akbar to sit down and enjoy the cuisine that Eve had served with her domestic assistant.

Akbar felt nervous in the middle of Sir Heru and Eve, he was confused what to behave like, because he realized that he was not excited that night. Akbar's thoughts continued to drift on Zahra, even though Akbar wished Zahra had said something to him.

"How's the food bar? Yummy?" Ask Eve spirit.

Akbar nodded slowly, "take care." Reply Akbar.

"Eve prepared all the bars." Said Mr. Heru again smiling to see Akbar and his daughter alternately.

Mr. Heru laughed, while Hawa just smiled at Akbar.

"Says there's a special guest here to have dinner." Said Mr. Heru glancing at Eve.

"Fuck! ish, don't talk like that, embarrassed to know." Sahut Hawa pouting.

Akbar just an awkward smile in response to Sir Heru's words.

Suddenly one message from Zahra made Akbar surprised.

"I'll wait..."

Feeling himself being stared at by Eve, Akbar immediately put his phone in his suit pocket and smiled slightly at Zahra.

"Do you have a bar wife?" Ask Mr. Heru.

"Emmm... I don't know what to answer, sir, hehehe." Reply Akbar.

"Do you have a bar boyfriend?" Ask Eve.

Akbar stopped eating because he was already uncomfortable with such questions, especially with his heart being broken.

"I'm not dating Eve, you know that, right?" Reply Akbar.

Eve immediately fell silent and bowed to end her dinner. Now that dinner became quiet, Akbar downed his drink and then excuse me to go home by Mr. Heru if it is finished. Mr. Heru allowed Akbar to come home soon, because he knew Akbar was busy because of his work.

Seeing Akbar walking out of her house, Eve immediately ran up to Akbar and called his name. Akbar stopped looking back, Eve standing before him with anxious feelings.

"What's Eve?" Ask Akbar.

Eve swallowed her saliva as she stared at the face of the man she had loved for more than a year. Hawa hesitantly held Akbar's hand, but Akbar immediately rejected him and asked him again what he would talk about.

"Bar, please Islamize me." Said Eve slowly.

Akbar was surprised to hear that, he did not know what he had just heard. But Eve's face looked at her seriously, even her eyes were shining with hope that Akbar could help her.

"You must be surprised, right? Actually was.. I have long wanted to embrace Islam. Take it easy bar, this is not all because of my lust, and not because of you I want to move faith. But I feel comfortable with my new religion." Said Eve.

"What can I help you with?" Ask Akbar.

"Teach me about sincerity, teach me about everything. Because i'm.. Because i'm.. Sorry bar, I love you." Answer Eve while glazed.

Akbar took a step back to hear Eve's words. Akbar's memory recalls Furqon's earlier remark that Eve had asked herself to teach him everything and to put her heart into it because of the kindness she did to everyone.

"Don't misunderstand the bar! Before I knew you, I had intended to convert to Islam, and Papah agreed to it, I was told to find out more in his knowledge. And.. Once I get to know you, know Zahra, and know your family, it seems like what's hard for me is accepting the reality of learning sincerity in my life. You want to teach me?"

Akbar was silent not in the slightest, he was confused to answer what because he also did not know what was sincere, he also still hoped in humans. Akbar took a deep breath and nodded his head.

"Thank you bar, you be careful on the road. I go inside first, assalamu'alaikum." Say Eve.

"Wa'alaikumsalam." Reply Akbar slowly.

Akbar was still daydreaming with all that Eve was talking about. But the vibration of the mobile phone from his pocket made Akbar aware, he immediately entered his car and opened the incoming message from Zahra.

"I'm waiting for you."

With a feeling of sadness, pleasure, Akbar read it. He was happy that Zahra was waiting for him, but on the other hand he knew that Eve loved him, in fact, he also cannot say for sure when to meet Zahra because he has to take care of his work until it is truly successful.

Akbar hesitates to reply to Zahra's message, instead of not loving Zahra, he just doesn't want to upset Zahra by not saying anything from the message.

^^^"Thank you for waiting for me Zahra. But.. I don't know when to come to see your parents, if your heart is tired of waiting for me accept the male proposal chosen by your parents."^^^

Akbar shed his tears, he lowered his head before he left Eve's house.

Inside Bela's room pensively grasping Zahra's phone, she glazed over as she read the message she sent to Akbar because there was no way Zahra would dare to tell Akbar her feelings.

Bela knows what her best friend is feeling, she knows that Zahra believes Akbar still loves her since High School, but she does not know why Akbar seems not to fight for the woman he loves. Zahra smiled happily as she walked into her room despite missing her phone while teaching.

"You miss Akbar no?" Ask Bela.

Zahra's smile instantly disappeared as Bela asked about Akbar.

Zahra was silent for a moment and then shook her head quietly without seeing her best friend's face.

"You lied to Zahra! Why don't you say the same umi and abi anyway if you like Akbar?!" Ask Bela.

"If I told you, would Akbar come to see Umi and abi? Is Akbar going to say that he wants to propose to me? It's all Bela's delusion, and I just accept what's in front of me." Answer Zahra.

"Are you happy?" Ask Bela again.

"Yes! I'm so happy." Zahra answered and went out of her room to the kitchen.

Zahra wiped her tears while at the dinner table, she poured water and drank it while remembering the moment when she first met Akbar. His smile was etched small but he was immediately privileged and returned to the present and the future. He was sure that God would make him happy than ever.

Zahra always believed that God never betrayed her, she always believed that God would give the best for her and her heart. Zahra only rests her faith on the owner of the heart, not on the one to whom the heart rests.

"Thank you for everything, God." Said Zahra and Akbar simultaneously but different places while looking up.
