Loving You Through Do'A

Loving You Through Do'A
Letterful

It had been a week when Eve expressed her heart to Akbar she still felt how Akbar seemed to love others from the look of his eyes. Eve knew the woman was Zahra, but she kept avoiding her and pretended not to feel heartbroken knowing it.

That afternoon Eve will say the creed accompanied by Mr. Heru in one of the mosques near her home. Mr. Heru continued to reassure his daughter about his decision. Because he did not want if Eve converted to Islam just because of humans.

Eve had officially converted, she was happy to embrace the same religion as her papa, but she felt bad for Akbar who had no news because of his speech that night. Eve sighed while looking at the mobile number with the name Akbar, she wanted to tell him that she had become a Muslim but he deleted his message and disengaged his intention.

The beautiful girl lay her body on the mattress while staring at the ceiling of her room, Eve still struggling about Akbar and his feelings. He opened the instagram and searched for Zahra and found it, but there were only writings in his post.

The sound of knocking on the door of the room made Eve realize in her daydream, she walked to open the door of her room. Both of his eyes were shocked to see Feri smiling at him then barging in.

Feri looked at her cousin's face seriously, then he looked around Eve's room.

"What the hell is it?" Ask Eve.

Ferries sitting on a mattress, "lo convert to Islam?"

Eve nodded.

"Because who?" Tanya Feri, now her face is more serious.

"Because of myself, why?" Eve was a little annoyed at her cousin.

"Sorry, I'm just afraid you're following doang." Said Feri.

"You mean?"

"Well.. Fear you have a crush on Muslim men keep you change religion to smooth your relationship."

"Since I never played faith fer! So you're here why the hell?!"

"The anger is mulu! I want to go to Aceh, pamit lo and om Heri."

"Goddy?! Why?"

"Lecture there, let me deket my chick." Answer Ferries.

"When did it go?" Ask Eve again.

"Tomorrow in the morning, will you come?"

Eve nodded steadily.

"Crazy times! I'm not kidding, you're here just learning the same business as bokap lo."

"Come on! I want to learn Islam fer, I want to come to places of Islamic history in Indonesia. And I think Aceh is a good place for me to come first." Eve said a little pleading.

Feri squinted his eyes, he did not know what Eve was thinking.

"Is there anyone you want to meet there?" Tanya Ferries.

"Nothing." Answer Eve firmly.

"Oh, yaudah then you say yourself deh same bokap lo." Said Feri out of Eve's room.

"Okeh."

In addition to studying Islam, Hawa did want to release her memories with Akbar, she wanted to forget everything so that she focused on learning religion. Eve took a photo with Akbar and other office friends when they were interns first, she smiled looking at Akbar's face then she took a deep breath and put the photo into the drawer.

That night Eve went into her papa workspace and asked for permission to go to Aceh.

"What the hell is that? Tumben once you go to Aceh especially with Ferries." Ask Mr. Heri.

"There is no reward, I want to learn good about Islam." Answer Eve.

"You love Akbar?"

Eve immediately looked at her papa face seriously, then turned her gaze forward and shook her head in response.

"I know everything, son." Said Mr. Heru gently stroking his son's hair.

Eve looked at her papa and immediately hugged her, not feeling her tears running down her cheeks.

"Akbar men's.. Men's.. Akbar loves another woman's pah." The word Eve was accompanied by her sobbing.

Mr. Heru tightened his embrace so that Eve did not feel lonely.

"Is this why you're going to Aceh?" Ask Mr. Heru.

"I want to learn sincerely the reward, if the distance separates maybe I can quickly forget Akbar." Eve answered her tears.

"Alright then, but still intertwine the friendship yes son." Said sir Heru.

"Yes pah."

Eve hugged her papa again tightly, although Heru was not her real father but Eve loved him very much.

In the room, before Eve left for Aceh with Feri, Hawa wrote a letter to Akbar, because after she reached Aceh, Eve would disable all her sosmeds and her cell phone. He would only call his papa using Feri's landline.

...Assalamu'alaikum bar,...

...If you read my letter this means I am no longer in Jakarta. I go to find knowledge, don't ask me where I'm going......

...Oh, yeah, I'm sorry about what I said that night. I didn't mean to make you awkward to meet people around me....

...Thank you for getting to know me at the bar, thank you for your kindness to me. I go yes, assalamu'alaikum....

...~Hawa~...

After writing the letter, Eve told one of her domestic assistants to give it to Akbar. Actually he wanted to ask for help papa, but Eve was afraid that Akbar would not come to see his papa. Eve packed her things and went to bed soon because tomorrow morning she would go straight to the airport with Feri.

...***...

That morning Akbar led his employees to a briefing, in addition to affirming his company's goals he also provided motivation so that he always had employees who were full of enthusiasm and confidence. And of course Akbar and Furqon want to be their co-workers not just bosses.

Finished reading the do'a with Akbar allows all employees to return to work. Akbar walked into his office, followed by Furqon. Akbar sat down while closing his eyes, still clearly remembering how Hawa had said his passion to Akbar, he still remembered Hawa's hopeful gaze to Akbar.

"Aarrggh." Akbar groaned slightly while holding his head and opening both his eyes.

Furqon just looked at him without asking what was going on with his best friend. In the office they are colleagues even though all employees know that they are best friends since childhood.

"How about hiring employees for our cafe in Bogor fur?" Akbar asked as if he was okay.

"Walking, why?" Furqon asked back.

Furqon called Joni and told her to go into their room.

"Excuse me sir." Mr. Joni said go inside.

"Please sit down sir!" Tell Akbar to smile.

"Thank you sir."

"Have you found a candidate who will be an employee for our cafe?" Ask Akbar.

"It's sir, but... Just some of it, sir." Mr. Joni replied hesitantly, he was afraid that Akbar and Furqon were angry with him.

"Why in part?" This time Furqon spoke.

"Most who apply for new graduates all pack, whereas we need that experience in the field of FNB." Answer Joni explained.

Akbar sipped his coffee, "sir, they won't have any experience as long as the company doesn't give them a chance to try." He said, and Furqon only responded to his friend's words with a smile and a nod of the head.

"But sir..."

"Sir Joni, make 50% experienced and 50% more inexperienced. Our company hopes for those who have no work experience at all. And for ages do not max 23thn, max 30th, married ones may apply." Furqon cut out Mr. Joni's speech.

"Because the age of 24 years and above is his passion to find work. This company was built to give their hope not even troublesome." Akbar.

"Baa.. Well sir, I will do as you command. Then excuse me first." Mr. Joni walked out of the room while bringing his notes to his room.

Furqon saw Akbar sigh and then turned his phone on his desk as if waiting for a message or phone from someone.

"Later tonight we come to the bar study, Mr. Kyai kangen said." Furqon.

Akbar nodded in agreement, "we must not forget where we came from fur." He said with a blank look.

"Betul bar, we are both just mosque boys but with our sincerity God Almighty God lift our degrees at our young age." Furqon said considering he was in the mosque, since childhood he played around in the mosque when other small children went to the cafe and so forth. They were both led by their parents to play in the house of God.

"I miss our childhood fur, when I haven't fallen in love with women other than my mother and Khadija. I felt like I was the happiest man, because I never knew what heartbreak was like." Akbar said he looked sad.

"We were disappointed that God wanted to help us bar. Emm.. How's Zahra doing?"

Akbar smiled slightly, "well, thank God he sent me a message to say that he wants to get married."

Furqon was surprised to hear Akbar's words, finally he saw his friend to tell what was being felt in recent days.

"Has Zahra accepted his proposal?" Ask Furqon.

Akbar shook his head softly, "after graduating from college, he accepted the man's proposal. What makes me feel guilty is that he's waiting for me fur."

Now Akbar's two eyes glazed over his conversation with Zahra.

"Zahra knows that you love her?" Ask Furqon.

Akbar was silent for a moment, then surprised himself because Zahra knew Akbar's feelings for him, because Zahra had read Bela's diary, and the one Akbar knows Bela recounted the day Akbar rejected her and said that the woman he had loved all this time was Zahra.

Akbar's daydream is lost when one of his employees delivers a letter from the post office to Akbar.

Furqon saw the letter and Akbar read it in his heart, and he could not believe it was from Eve.

"What is the bar between you guys?" Furqon asked curiously while holding Eve's letter.

"He asked me to Islamize him, and teach him many things about the science of fur religion." Reply Akbar.

"Then?"

"Laughter loves me, I don't say anything when she wants to learn. Know it? I can't be alone." Akbar leaned his body in the chair.

"I think this is Eve's way of learning from you, she went to forget everything about you bar. I'm sure Eve will be a good Muslim with a clean heart wherever she is." Akbar.

"Aamiin's."

At lunchtime, Akbar stayed in the office while Furqon went to the cafeteria with his employees.

Akbar took a nap to calm his mind, but the vibration of his phone woke him up and saw a message from Zahra.

Assalamu'alaikum Akbar,

Some time ago, I sent you a message and said that I was waiting for you right? Actually the one who sent the message was Bela not me.

You do not need to think about things, because what Bela said is true. The reason I didn't directly accept my candidate's proposal was you...

I read Bela's diary for the umpteenth time and I hope I didn't misread about what you said to Bela. It's just that right now you're working hard like before so ignore me for a moment. It's okay bar, I'm still waiting for you... Till... My heart says 'enough'.

Thank you for reading my long message:) assalamu'alaikum.

With trembling hands Akbar replied to Zahra's message.

"Wa'alaikumsalam Zahra, don't hurt yourself because of me, I don't want to disappoint you Zahra. I also don't know later, I'll meet you first or your invitation letter."

Akbar wiped his tears, and now he knew that Zahra loved him. Akbar could only look at the contents of Zahra's message until lunch time passed.

...***...

In the library Zahra was reading a book seriously but unknowingly there was already Bela before her while smiling sweetly looking at her face. Zahra looked back, because she thought Bela was giving a smile to the visitors of the library.

"How are you?" Ask Bela to open a book about business.

"Alhamdulillah ba..."

"Your heart." Cut Bela.

Zahra smiled slightly, "why the hell bell, asking about my heart?"

Bela tells about the message he sent to Akbar without the knowledge of his best friend. Zahra was surprised, but she was curious about Akbar's reply back then. Hearing what Bela said, Zahra felt sad and bowed deeply.

"You love him Zahra?" Ask Bela softly.

Zahra nodded slowly.

"Tell Akbar about how you feel Zahra." Said Bela.

With a feeling of fear, Zahra finally sent a message about her heart to Akbar. Zahra then handed everything over to God, because the soul mate would go nowhere. All are the secrets of God and only He knows.
