That morning Zahra came to school early, he always greeted anyone who passed him, it should be like that attitude of Muslims to other Muslims. And look at the attitude of Zahra who has been a few weeks of school in As-sobirin has a positive value for the principal. Even from that day on, all the disciples who passed by had to say hello.
Zahra was pleased that her attitude was imitated by the other students. And he just smiled with relief at seeing Bela behave like that to others, because he saw Bela avoiding other friends.
Zahra's footsteps rang out in the school corridor until she stopped her steps beside the classroom window that was still covered in curtains. He stood up while listening to the voice of the man reading the Surah Maryam. He closed his eyes with a smile because the voice he heard was very melodious, but he did not know whose voice it was.
Soon he regained consciousness, then continued his way to class even though he wanted to know who the man was.
One by one the disciples came, as well as Bela who was already smiling happily saw Zahra in her seat.
"Assalamu'alaikum Zahra."
"Wa'alaikumsalam."
Bela immediately put her bag on the table and downed the mineral water she bought at the cooperative.
"You're not fasting anymore?" Tanya Zahra opens an Indonesian book.
"Astagfireullah! I forgot!" Bela said stop drinking.
Zahra just smiled looking at the expression of her best friend.
"Emmm, Bela," call Zahra softly.
"Yes Zahra!" Bela's voice violently shocked Zahra.
Zahra smiled slightly, "not so."
Bela looked at Zahra's face, "what is Zahra?" He asked, this time his voice was softened so that no one would hear.
Zahra chuckled at the attitude of her best friend.
"It's okay, then just talk to him for a speech." Answer Zahra.
Not Zahra the name asks about a man. Because of his quiet, gentle, and friendly attitude towards anyone, so all the students in the school thought that Zahra was only interested in Egyptian men. There may even be candidates chosen by his parents for Zahra later.
The perceptions made by the entire disciple were heard by Zahra, but she only smiled in response. He does not justify and does not blame, Zahra remains a Zahra that envies students in his school because of his attitude and sincerity.
The break bell was heard, Zahra went to the school mosque to perform Dhuha prayers. After the greeting, Zahra saw the man praying. Zahra smiled in her heart and walked out of the mosque wearing shoes.
"You're Zahra, huh?"
Both of Zahra's hands stopped hearing a male voice ask her. He looked to the side and the man was wearing his shoes. Zahra's heart skipped a beat again, sweat began to wash over her forehead.
"I.iya." Zahra answered nervously.
"There's a gift." He gave a medium box to Zahra.
"But.but..."
"Today's not your birthday." Cut it.
Zahra nodded her head slowly while receiving a gift from the man.
"There's a letter in it, let's just say it's an introductory gift from me. I'm gonna have to bell me into class first."
The man walked away from Zahra in front of the mosque holding a gift from her.
As Zahra walked along the corridor, she saw the man again in front of his class with his friends. Then one of his friends approached Zahra and stretched out his hand to meet the great Egyptian girl. Zahra clenched her hands together and said her name.
"Goddess!" He said again, looking into Zahra's eyes.
Soon the man came and told his friend to go back to class.
"Sorry for you to be uncomfortable." Her speech.
"Yes." Yeah." Zahra walked straight to her class.
Seeing his best friend bring gifts, Bela immediately kepo. He asked who the gift was from, if Zahra was having a birthday. But Zahra just explained that the gift was from no one.
"Zahra, there are so many people who admire you." Bela.
"Why am I admired?" Ask Zahra astonished.
"Where do I know, maybe because you're pretty." Answer Bela.
Zahra smiled, "You are also beautiful, they are also beautiful," Zahra pointed to the female friends in her class.
"But not as pretty as you."
"Defender, physical beauty is relative. If you only judge someone from beautiful or handsome, there must be many people who are deceived." Zahra.
"Yes too, there are beautiful but murderous. Naudzubilahi min dzalik!" Bela shuddered at imagining it.
"Notice moral beauty, that's where beauty really is." Zahra.
Again Bela smiled, being Zahra's best friend was one of the things that made her happy. There is much that Bela does not know, but Zahra tells him. There was something Bela thought that Zahra set straight.
After school, Bela invited Zahra to watch his upperclassman's football match. There Zahra sat on the XI Accounting team. When Bela was going to the toilet, Zahra took a gift and opened the gift, and it turned out to be a Koran. Zahra smiled widely, then she read the letter.
...Assalamualaik....
"Getishalight." Zahra answered the greetings from the man's letter quietly.
...I know you listened as I read Maryam's surah....
...I know you stopped right next to me and closed your eyes so that my voice could be heard....
...Don't be surprised, it's just my hunch. When I read the Quran, I somehow felt that someone stopped his footsteps....
...When I turned to the window, behind the curtains was a female silhouette standing. And I know it's you....
...This Quran I deliberately rewarded for you as a sign of my introduction, as my apology for making you nervous when you are near me....
...Zahra, my name is Akbar. Hello, Assalamualaikum....
"Sorry old Zahra."
Hearing Bela's voice, Zahra immediately put the Koran and the letter into the bag.
Zahra's gaze was shifted to no dorsal 2 who was sitting on the bench with his other friends while watching the match. Yes, no 2 it is Akbar. Zahra behaved as usual and watched the game as leisurely as possible without any nervousness and others. Shortly after Akbar entered the field, he turned his back and smiled at Zahra. I want Zahra to return Akbar's smile but she does not want Bela to know that the gift she brought this morning was Akbar's gift.
"What a handsome boy Zahra!"
Instantly Zahra was immediately turned to the words of his best friend, even Zahra saw Bela's gaze and his gaze on Akbar was very relaxed, let alone freely praise Akbar openly.
Bela nodded steadily while smiling at Akbar's game with his friends.
"Why didn't you tell me you liked him?"
Bela looked at Zahra, "i don't know her phone number, I sent her a letter."
Zahra again saw the football match, "is there something wrong with Bela's letter? There's no, is there?"
Bela immediately grumbled, "it was not the time of Zahra using all letters."
"From your dislike you're not conveyed." Zahra.
"Huft, as beautiful and as smart as Annisa was rejected, let alone me?"
Zahra again wanted to know more about the situation of the school before there was him, he wanted to know Akbar who was so admired by the women in his school.
"Zahra, the girls in our school all have a crush on Akbar. But do not know why until now he is still single, even though a lot of who shot him but everything was rejected." Bela.
"Oh yeah?!" Zahra surprised.
Bela nodded, "The handsome bar, clever, sholeh. Which girl doesn't want to be with him."
Zahra was immediately silent, he was not as detailed as it liked Akbar, he was just happy to see Akbar in the mosque, he was happy to see Akbar wearing a cocoa shirt and became an imam in the mosque. That was all Zahra liked, he liked Akbar because of his devotion to worship.
"If Akbar likes you, I'm sincere." Said Bela smiling while leaning on Zahra's shoulder.
"You know the school rules, right?" Zahra asked, replying to Bela.
Bela immediately lifted her head from Zahra's shoulder support "students should not be alone or dating in the school environment. But it can be after school, a lot like that." The answer.
"Do you know the rules of Islam?"
"In Islam it is forbidden to date. Zahra, if you've brought Islam2 where can I turn your talk back." Answer Bela.
Zahra just smiled at her best friend. Not yet finished the match, Zahra had already left Bela alone.
...***...
Before long Akbar scored, all the spectators stood up including Bela, the girls shouted Akbar's name. But both of Akbar's eyes are looking for someone, when he is hugged by his team mates, he is still looking for someone's whereabouts. Both of his eyes were fixed on the empty chair beside Bela. Akbar took a breath and ran into the field.
After the match Bela approached Akbar and gave him a bottle of mineral water. Akbar accepted it because he appreciated the gift of others even though in his left hand he was already holding a bottle of water.
"You alone?" Ask Akbar.
Asked like that, Bela immediately pleasures not playing. His heart was flowery, but he also felt strange because of Akbar's sudden attitude inquiring himself.
"So together with my brother, only he came home first." Answer Bela.
"Oh, thanks for the drink." Akbar.
"Together brother." Bela.
Finish prayers maghrib, Akbar direct tadarus. After the prayer, the youths arrived to start the study which is usually done once a week. And that night was Akbar's turn to motivate them.
"What do you do if you love someone?" Akbar asked the young men who were focused on listening to him.
But they only blushed embarrassed to hear it, some responded directly to say their feelings to someone. But suddenly the voice of the woman answered "mendo'nya." all immediately turned his eyes to a woman who was behind the other women.
"If you love her and are ready to be born, say that you want to ask for her. But if you love yet are not ready to be born, then pray. Pray that God will be betrothed to someone you love."
A voice that was familiar to Akbar's ears, even though the woman was wearing a veil, it seemed that Akbar already knew who she was. There is a sense of nervousness in Akbar after hearing it, he became misbehaved to the point of being joked by other ustadz because he had never seen Akbar that much.
Akbar's studies finished coming to the woman and confirmed that she was Zahra, his schoolmate.
"Assalamu'alaikum."
"Wa'alaikumsalam, what's wrong ustadz?" Ask the woman.
Seeing Akbar talking to the veiled women, the young men who had not come home could only smile while whispering about Akbar's attitude.
"You're Zahra?" Ask Akbar.
"How do you know I'm Zahra?" Zahra asked back.
"Your voice." Reply Akbar.
Zahra smiled from behind her veil, "we've never had a long conversation before, only when you give me a gift. Oh yes, thank you for the Quran. Sorry I just said thanks."
"Together, you live here?"
Zahra shook her head, "my aunt's house is in this area, I came here because aunty said there are young ustadz who always give Islamic motivation to the young people here."
Akbar smiled shyly at hearing that, "i only once a month provide such motivation. If you have time, join the study here every night of the week."
"God willing ustadz."
"Don't call me ustadz, just call Akbar."
"Next time I'll call with your name, I go home first. Assalamu'alaikum."
"Wa'alaikumsalam warohmatullahi wabarokatu."
Akbar drove Zahra to get into his car, even he still looked at the car even though it was far away.
"Whoa! Looks like this Akbar boy is in love huh?"
Akbar is shocked to hear Somad's question, secretly seeing Akbar's attitude towards Zahra.
"Ah, no kiyai sir. He's my schoolmate." Akbar replied shyly.
"Son, involve Allah in your love, so that there will be sincerity in it. But remember! Don't dream, or think too much." Kiyai Somad gave Akbar some advice.
"God willing, kiyai."
"Well, I'll go home first, will you not?"
"No sir kiyai thank you, I still want a tadarus."
Kiyai Somad patted Akbar on the shoulder and walked back to his house not far from the mosque.
Then Akbar entered the mosque to continue his sentence, even sleeping in the mosque with his friend Furqon.
Akbar and Zahra did not expect to be able to get to know each other. Surely every meeting they had was not just by chance but was already God's line.
