Loving You Through Do'A

Loving You Through Do'A
Love Through Do'a

It has been a week since Akbar and his family met Khadijah in Aceh, now he is back in his activities in the office and saw the development of restaurants that he already has as many as 7 branches in major cities in Indonesia. Furqon's words he forgot for a moment because he did not know for sure whether his friend really intended to propose Khadijah or not.

Akbar sat in the office accompanied by a cup of coffee and musical instruments through his mobile phone. Closing his eyes Akbar smiled in his daydream. Furqon who had arrived at the office was surprised by the attitude of his best friend, he felt something strange with Akbar.

Furqon walks over to Akbar's desk and turns off the music, allowing Akbar to open his eyes.

"Whisper!" Furqon said then went to his desk which was one room with Akbar.

Without saying a word Akbar played back his music.

"It looks like your mood is a nice bar." Praise Furqon for opening his laptop.

"Not really." Akbar said still closing his eyes.

"How's Zahra doing?" Ask Furqon.

Akbar instantly turned off his music and looked at Furqon with an annoyed face.

"You can't ask me that first." Reply Akbar.

Furqon was surprised to hear that, usually Akbar would happily answer her or even start with a smile on his face, but this time no, he did not seem to want to talk about the woman he had loved since High School.

"Why? Aren't you glad I asked you about Zahra?"

"Fur, there are times when I think of myself how to be happy without having to engage in an uncertain love." Reply Akbar.

"What do you know about certainty? If you dare not tell Zahra yourself." Furqon.

Akbar exhaled, "it's not that I don't dare, it's just that there's something better than me to accompany Zahra."

"Every human being is equally as good at distinguishing his faith!" Furqon.

Akbar was silent about not saying anything to his best friend, in fact he just pretended not to care about Zahra. He just tried to act like that because he didn't know what to do with Zahra. Saying that he wanted to propose to her? It was definitely Akbar did but not yet, he still felt love in silence had been fused to him.

Furqon just shook his head not understanding the way his best friend's mind now, he felt that Akbar became a man who was inconsistent in his attitude.

Akbar breaks back reluctant to leave the office with Furqon for lunch at the employee's handbag. Akbar chose to walk to the mosque to perform dzuhur prayers and then to sleep in a corner of the musholah. He closed his eyes with a smile remembering the face of his mother, Khadijah and of course he felt long for his father.

Sir, Akbar has never been this calm in life. Akbar never once hesitated in his attitude, but lately Akbar feels very doubt. Perhaps the father would scold Akbar if he knew his son was acting like a coward who surrendered before the war. It is not Akbar's nature, but for this heart it seems like Akbar is mengikhlaskan love itself. Loving her through do'a is one way Akbar can still love her from afar without knowing her news.

Turning his face to the musholah wall, Akbar shed his tears. He took a deep breath and opened his eyes as Akbar's phone shook.

"Assalamu'alaikum, how are you doing bar?"

^^^"Wa'alaikumsalam, thank God I am good. But.. Who is this?"^^^

Akbar was still thinking about who the person who asked him was.

"I'm Eve, I'm sorry I had to ask you first. I think your business is moving forward very quickly."

Akbar immediately got up from his sleep, he sat leaning against the wall of the prayer while rereading the message.

^^^"Where have you been for years without news? Thank God for the help of your prayer also my business is smooth until now. Oh, yeah, how's Mr Heru doing?"^^^

"Father died a year ago bar. How's Zahra doing?"

Akbar was saddened to hear the sad news, he did not know the reason why Eve really went from him even the news of the departure of her own father he kept a meeting during that time.

When Akbar was about to reply he got a message from Doni asking for news and telling him that he got Akbar's mobile number from Eve.

Akbar smiled with relief knowing his best friend was back in his life. At least Akbar can exchange stories with Doni about Mr. Heru all this time.

^^^"Inalillahi wa innailaihi roji'un. I'm sorry to hear that, did you really disappear or just shy away from Eve's life? To the extent that you didn't tell me of Heru sir's death."^^^

Eve breathed a long sigh after reading Akbar's message, that was not what she wanted. It's just that he wasn't ready to meet with Akbar at that time.

"I'm sorry bar, I have my own reasons and I hope you understand. Zahra's still in Arabia?"

^^^"Alhamdulillah Zahra is good, yes she is still there."^^^

"Alhamdulillah then, I have to continue working first yes bar. I'll call you back later. Assalamu'alaikum."

^^^"Wa'alaikumsalam."^^^

Akbar decides to meet Doni who is not far from his office. Akbar walks into the restaurant where Doni works, he sits while waiting for his coffee order to arrive.

"Good day sir, here's the coffee, enjoy."

Akbar sees Doni delivering a coffee order for him, smiles and hugs to ask each other.

"You think I'm old? It's as if you call me 'sir'." Sahut Akbar again sat down to sip his coffee.

"Where have you been this three-year bar?" Ask Doni.

"I'm busy, hehehe" Akbar replied jokingly.

"You already have a famous office, several cafe branches in a big city. Then, what else do you want to pursue?"

Suddenly, Doni's question sounded worried and serious to his best friend. Actually Doni often find out information about Akbar and his company, but he is more interested in Akbar's life since he became an apprentice in the place where Doni used to work.

Akbar only glimpsed Doni's face and then sipped his coffee again.

"Do you know everything don?" Ask Akbar.

"About?"

"Get away, Mr. Heru died a year ago. Do you know?" Akbar repeated his question.

Doni nodded, "i came to mourn when I heard that Mr. Heru died, I thought you came but until the afternoon did not appear. I did not recognize who the crying woman was wearing all black clothes with a long veil, I looked carefully again it was Eve. I smiled from afar looking at her, but I was coming home soon because my wife was going to be born that very afternoon. I haven't known the story of you and Eve since." Long-winded Doni.

"You're married?" Ask Akbar.

"yes. Is there a story between you and Eve?"

Akbar speechless.

"What's the bar?"

Akbar smiled slightly before telling Doni everything.

Doni just smiled after hearing it, apparently Akbar had been in a dilemma all this time but he was not aware of his feelings on who would be anchored.

"Then, what about Zahra?"

"You remember his name."

"I don't forget the name of the woman my best friend loved. Is Zahra okay bar?"

"It looks so don." Akbar replied, sipping his coffee.

"But you're not okay, are you?!"

Akbar kept silent for a moment, "Zahra will be getting married."

Doni who had been enthusiastic about hearing it immediately fell silent, he was surprised by Akbar's words, even Doni did not expect such an answer to be thrown from Akbar's mouth.

"Why are you silent? Shocked?" Akbar asked a smile before finishing his coffee.

"You can still smile bar?" Doni asked back.

"Then I have to how don?"

Doni scrunched his forehead to see Akbar's attitude that seemed to have forgotten Zahra from his life.

"Are you in love with Zahra or Eve?" Ask Doni seriously.

Doni's question managed to divert Akbar.

"You're a bar dilemma. You don't know who to choose. If you don't love Eve, why don't you tell Zahra's family your good intentions, even though they've known you since High School. Why do you think Eve's departure was to leave you? She let you go so you could be with Zahra, Eve knew a long time ago that you loved Zahra." Doni.

"I just feel guilty about Eve because my attitude towards her made her love me. And I don't deserve Zahra." Akbar.

"I don't know if you've changed, since when did you shy away from bar life? Don't you have Allah and the Apostle why are you worried about the Zahra family? You're afraid they'll refuse because they're from a rich family. Istigfar you're a bar!" Said Doni upset to see the attitude of his best friend who became a plan and not confident.

Akbar was silent, he repeatedly istigfar every time comparing his life with the life of Zahra's future husband.

"Maybe next month I'm going to Arab don't see Zahra." Akbar said slowly.

"Faster the better the bar, I hope you're there to ask for her before Zahra's invitation spreads." Doni.

"I don't know who used to come, Zahra's invitation or mine."

"Whatever happens later believe the bar that God has written the best lines for your life and those around you."

"Yes don."

Akbar's phone rang, he picked it up which turned out Furqon told him to go back to the office because there was a meeting to open a cafe in the city of Surabaya. Akbar ended his conversation with Doni, he also thanked Doni for listening to his heart. Akbar immediately drove his car to the office and prepared himself for the meeting.

During the trip Akbar thought of Zahra, he was worried that Zahra's invitation would reach him before he spoke of his good intentions. Akbar took a breath before getting out of the car, he reflected for a while so that his face did not look agitated, he smiled for a while and then walked into the office.

Furqon and some of his employees were already in the meeting room, Akbar came late 10 minutes and immediately started the meeting. All of his employees are proud to see their truly professional boss, Akbar put aside his personal problems when speaking in front of them. It doesn't even seem to happen.

After the meeting, Akbar went straight to his room he sat down while looking at the screen of his phone that looked quiet there was no notification that he was expecting.

Akbar sees the contact number on his phone, he looks at Zahra's name, he wants to call her but hesitantly, he just wants to say that next month Akbar is going to Arabia to meet his abi and uminya. But Akbar immediately put his phone when Furqon entered his room.

"Where have you been?" Ask Furqon.

"Meet Doni." Akbar replied checking the files on his desk.

"Doni? Your boss when you were intern first?"

Akbar nodded his head.

"Bar," call Furqon.

"What's wrong?" Ask Akbar.

"My words at the boarding school at that time, did you take it seriously?"

Akbar stopped his work and tried to recall Furqon's words while in the pesantren.

"Emmm... My words about Khadijah." Furqon again.

"Oh, I'm not taking it seriously." Akbar said without a second thought.

"Why? I'm seriously a bar!"

"Fur, do you really love my sister? Or indeed, at this time you feel sorry for Hind, who was left by her husband, so you vent to my sister. Think carefully before I ask my sister about you." Akbar.

"You know me not two days bar but since I was a kid, I have no feelings for Hindun!"

"What if suddenly there's a notification on your phone that it's Hind, apologizing about what he said at the boarding school?"

Furqon fell silent and could not speak to Akbar.

"Fur, when you tell me that. I can't believe that Hindun said it from his heart, he just used logic instead of his feelings. First love is hard to forget fur, and where maybe Hindun could have done that to you, when obviously since he was Junior High, he has liked you."

Furqon looked at Akbar seriously, "if Hind ever asked me to come back, I would come back. But my feelings are not entirely for him. If Khadijah accidentally enters my heart, I will do the same with Hind. Let go of my love for others."

This time Akbar who did not expect to hear the words of his friend, how serious Furqon with Khadijah.

Akbar awakens when a message from Eve enters his cell phone.

"Next week I'm going to marry the bar, come to the Zahra boarding school, I'm doing it there."

^^^"God willing I will come, but..."^^^

"I was a teacher there all along, and I met Zahra a few times. When I asked about you, he just shook his head and didn't know how you were doing right now. Bar, tell me how you feel about Zahra, because all I know is that she's just waiting or accepting someone's proposal. Those two choices are hard for him, I hope you understand."

Akbar was so surprised to read Eve's message, it turns out that the two women had known each other without Akbar knowing.

^^^"Thank you for your advice Eve."^^^

"Come to the Zahra bar. He's been waiting for you a long time."

Akbar held his phone tightly after reading the message from Eve. He invited Furqon to Aceh next Sunday, and he agreed. Akbar only hopes to meet the Zahra family there again.
