25. SAD BIRTHDAY'S

Love's birthday has finally arrived. Chef Marko prepares a special meal for her and Lucka. Just the two of them. Jansen and Jessi are still not back home. Dining table in the order of Love. He wants to realize his dream for candle light dinner with his loved ones.

Six o'clock in the afternoon, at Lucka's office.

"Today you have a dinner with Love, right? You better postpone your work until tomorrow" said Tommy.

"A minute, Tom. You go home first. I'll catch up."

"Yes already. I'm going home first. You're okay driving yourself?"

"What's wrong, no problem" Lucka replied, still staring at his computer screen.

Tommy says goodbye and leaves Lucka alone.

After Tommy's death, Lucka's phone vibrated. There's an incoming call.

Lucka thought it was Love. But it turns----but

"Unknown number?" Lucka. But he decided to take the call.

"Hello-"

"Lucka-"

DEG. The sound is---

"Lucka, you hear me?"

"What's calling me?"

"Lucka don't hang up. I beg--"

"What do you want?" Lucka began to answer snidely.

"Lucka, I'm here now. Can we meet?"

"Can't!"

"Oh, so? If I'm the only one who came there, how about it?"

"alright. Where do you want to meet?" Lucka gave up in the end.

"Do you remember my apartment? I was there. Don't forget to come. Or I'll go to your house and tell your fiance all about us."

"Then what do you want?"

"none. I'm only here for a few days. So, I want to reminisce with you. Here, drink up!" Sally brought a cup of water for Lucka.

"No, thank you. I can't stay here long. I have to go." Lucka's gonna turn around.

"That's very disrespectful, Lucka. This is your favorite drink. Strawberry juice with a little wine in it. Drink up! After this you can go."

Lucka is lazy to serve Sally. But what can be done. It's the only way he can get out of Sally's apartment.

Love cries. She's sad. Very sad. He's disappointed. Very disappointed.

Just now he felt happiness because Lucka also welcomed his feelings. He felt happy because his love did not clap one hand. Lucka will be his first and last love. But today, on her birthday, on a day that should have been an immeasurable happiness for her, was even the saddest day for her.
