94. Topia Smile

After unbinding Topia's legs and hands, Aran immediately looks at a bodyguard "Prepare the car."

The bodyguard nodded and went to prepare a car for Aran.

"Hey, are you okay?" Topia asked Aran when she saw from his gaze the man was now focusing on the burning building.

"Don't spend much of your energy asking something unimportant." Said Aran in his flat voice.

"Okay, but anyway I'm grateful that you saved me." Said Topia with a gaze that continued to cling to Aran.

"Yes" answered Aran briefly.

"Master, the car is ready." Said the bodyguard that was confirmed by Aran to prepare a car for him.

Aran nodded at the bodyguard then turned to look at Topia "You still have the strength to walk?" Ask.

"Yes," Topia replied in a low voice and the woman immediately stood up following Aran walking towards the car that had been prepared by the bodyguard.

Topia teeus watched Aran until their car drove off and then she took her eyes off Aran looking at the building behind them that was temporarily filled with firefighters.

The car drove straight towards the hospital.

Once there, Topia immediately received treatment from health workers with Aran waiting faithfully for her.

'What's wrong with Aran? Has he got the results of an investigation stating that I am innocent?' thought Topia saw Aran.

The man's attitude changed greatly, Aran seemed to have a feeling that was harbored in his heart.

But, even though he tried to read it from Aran's facial features, he could not find out what emotions the man was actually hiding.

For a few minutes silence continued to envelop the two of them until finally Topia could not stand it anymore and opened her mouth.

"Have you investigated the case properly? Have you found any evidence that I'm innocent?" Topia's question made Aran look at the woman sitting on the gurney.

"Yes, I'm sorry for being so slow to investigate." Said Aran feeling guilty towards the woman in front of him.

However, unexpectedly when he thought Topia would scold him, instead the woman smiled.

"No problem, the important thing is that I'm here with you. That's more than enough" Topia said.

"Aren't you angry?" Ask Aran.

Topia raised her eyebrows, "Anged? Why should I be mad at you? I was framed by the Elder because of my own wishes, I tried to be a strong-witted person but apparently did not have the ability to be a strong person.

"At first I thought I wanted to show my loyalty to Mr. Saga and Mrs Dita that I had completely changed, but it turned out that I was almost dead, thankfully you saved me." Topia smiled.

Looking at the woman who could still smile after almost being swallowed by death, Aran felt his heart being shaken by that smile.

Had she been late for some time knowing the truth, then now Topia might have been burned to death in a holding cell.

"Good, take a break, I'll see the doctor." Aran said then the man walked out of the room leaving Topia who kept staring at his disappearance.

He felt guilty to the point of making her think that she didn't deserve to be in front of him.

It was so embarrassing for him, successfully being tricked by the elders to the point of almost killing people who actually had good intentions.
