Mahligai Butterfly

Mahligai Butterfly
CHAPTER 2

The handsome man was no stranger to Reyya. It was Kay Florest. The first child of the Florest family. His family was a wealthy man in his compound. Since childhood Reyya has often seen it, but never once they talk like neighbors.

Reyya's small and dirty house next to Kay's house. The Florest family, known as the wealthy, has lived alongside the poor Reyya family since Reyya was a child.

Kay stepped in and sat on the sofa apart. Reyya quickly handed over the menu book. Kay did not take the book, she looked up and looked at Reyya with a slight surprise.

"I ordered a soda" he told Reyya.

"Well sir" Reyya took back the menu book and passed away leaving the person behind.

After the door of the room closed, Reyya took a deep breath, as if she had just walked out of a place that was suffocating her chest. Reyya immediately took her notes to where the order was made.

Inside the karoke room.

"You knew that girl?" ask Dion to Kay. Dion is a finance manager at Florest Electro. The company was founded by Kay Florest. After he separated himself from his father's company, Florest Utama. Dion was her best friend since childhood so there was no sense of unease between the two men.

''Hmmm. Neighbor complex" answered Kay soberly. Kay doesn't know Reyya very well. They never talk. There is nothing to talk about between them.

"You used to play here, didn't you?" ask Faisal.

"Don't misunderstand Sal. I just love the place" replied Dion, who felt a bit overwhelmed by Faisal's question.

"Come on! Ngaku aja Dion. I like others too, what not! You are still single" continued Shienna who teased Dion.

Laughter filled the small room.

"What are you betting on? How can I take Mr Kay to this place?" asked Shienna curiously.

"Consecret anyway. Anyway, you enjoy a treat today" replied Dion as he glanced at Mr. Kay who had just been silently staring at the phone screen.

Not long after, the door opened again. Reyya and another waitress brought drinks and some snacks that had been ordered by the people in the room.

Some people start to enjoy the music of karoke. Reyya placed the order on the table. When he was about to put the glass, Reyya accidentally stepped on Kay's foot and made Kay reflex pull her foot so that Reyya almost fell and the drink in the glass he was holding spilled wet Kay's shirt.

The entire room instantly became quiet. Everyone was stunned to see what had just happened.

"Ma-sorry sir. I did not accidentally" said Reyya while hunting to take a tissue.

"Cck" Kay got up and brushed off Reyya's hand that was about to darken her shirt.

Kay immediately walked out of the room, a panicked Reyya followed her from behind. Kay stopped.

"Stop following me. Your aura is so unkind!" with a ketus Kay makes Reyya peck in place.

Kay soon passed looking for the bathroom. Reyya was still in his place. He could not believe what he had just heard from the man's mouth. A few seconds later Kay appeared in front of him.

"Where's the bathroom?" ask Rey.

"Here" Reyya shows Kay the bathroom.

Without saying a word Kay continued to pass leaving Reyya. Reyya immediately walked back to the karaoke room, she tidied up the wet floor. The people in the room continued their activities without any concern for Reyya.

After cleaning up the mess, Reyya immediately got up and got out. When he opened the door, he again passed Kay who looked stiff when he found himself crossing with Reyya. Reyya just lowered her head and went straight out.

"Don't jutek very bro!. Beautiful neighbor of your complex." seduced Dion without caring about Kay's annoyance.

"Damn you!" kay grumbled at his best friend.

"What if he did!" whispered Dion to Kay.

Kay looked up at Dion's words. He didn't answer anything.

"Deal?" Dion kept pressing.

Kay is still silent. The boisterous voice of his friend who was singing as if not heard in his ears.

"Silent sign agreed. Okay, Deal yes!" Dion clasped Kay's hand.

Kay was silent. He didn't even know why he had to follow Dion's silliness. From childhood they always play bets and Kay never once won any bets. Dion laughed at Kay's reaction.

"Ready to lose again boss" said Dion giggling.

Kay glanced at him briefly and gulped down her drink. He was also not sure he could beat Dion, coupled with the incident that had happened to him earlier, but this time he would try to win the bet.

Time goes by without feeling. The young man was swept away in the cradle of the night song. Kay didn't really enjoy the atmosphere, she just focused on the hape. Shienna who was at the very end of the sofa occasionally stole a glance at Kay's good looks that were still clearly visible inside the dimness.

No time has shown midnight. The career women began to prepare to go home.

"We girls say yes first" Shienna said.

"Ah, you're not cool. Only at this hour has been a whiny mintak come home" replied Dion teasingly.

"Yes. You guys better go first. It's not good to go home too late" said Kay who had not said much.

"I also have to go back" Faisal said.

"Yes already. It's better tonight is enough to get here" Kay told all her employees.

Everyone nodded except for Dion, and he was still singing. One by one they came out of the room. Now Kay and Dion are in the room. Kay leaned back and reopened her hape, while Dion still wanted to spend one more song.

After finishing one last song, Dion glanced at Kay. Kay gave him a quick look. Ready unprepared, Kay has to finish the stakes. Not long after, Dion called a waiter and paid the bill. In the end, they both came out of the room.

Dion seemed to walk into Mr. Rio's room and say something. Kay is still waiting in the hotel lobby. Not long after, Dion was seen exiting the elevator.

"How's it?" ask Kay.

"Dam. Can't do that!" dion answered with an annoyed face.

"Weak. Then I'll get what you can't get. You need to get rid of Serlly. You have to agree"

"Dam. All right, this time I'll follow you" he replied slightly irritated.

Kay walked straight to the parking lot and got into her car. Dion also got into his car and immediately left the hotel a rose of memories.

One by one Kay noticed the people who came to the parking lot, but the awaited did not come.

"Where are you bad butterfly?" he said in his heart.
