MAHMUD, I Love U

MAHMUD, I Love U
The Cause of One Crazy Woman

Mayra sat leaning her body on the support of her bed with her legs straightened forward. His eyes focused on the phone screen reading a series of messages from a number that has not been stored in the new phone. From where she stood, Azka who was combing her hair noticed Mayra from the reflection of the mirror in front of her. The man, who had just returned home from work and finished his bath, looked at his wife's expressionless face while still staring at her phone screen.

"What's up, Yank?" Azka was still staring at Mayra from the reflection of the mirror in front of her.

"Sandu, Yank," Mayra answered honestly.

"Handoo? Why her?" Azka walked up to Mayra and sat down beside her. Now they sit facing each other.

Mayra did not answer. He simply thrust out his phone and let Azka read it herself. Azka frowned confusedly then looked at his wife.

"This means how?" Azka didn't understand. Because Mayra had never told her about her problems with Sandu.

For Mayra, her problems with Sandu, especially Risa is not too important to discuss with her husband as long as it does not threaten herself and her family. But on the contrary, without Mayra knowing, Azka already knew a little about all the problems.

Mayra read again a line in the message Sandu had sent her. He was very sure Sandu was talking about Risa. He remembered very well when at Sand Beach yesterday, Sandu looked surprised when he found out he came, a sign that Sandu did not know the plan that did not know what the purpose of his fiancee was.

Mayra looked at Azka's eyes. "Maybe it's about Risa, Yank."

Hearing Risa's name being mentioned, Azka fused her eyebrows together trying to remember the name. Mayra chuckles. Her husband would not remember things that were not important to her. However, after Mayra told her later, she was sure that her husband would always remember Risa's name well.

"Risa's Sandu's fiance, Yank. We met him at the cafe's parking lot on the hill, remember??"

Azka was silent for a moment and then nodded. He immediately recalled the time he met Risa without Mayra knowing while at the zoo that time. There it was clearly seen that Risa indeed had a problem with his wife that he obviously did not know that.

"Yes I remember, Yank. What was your problem with them until Sandu mentioned the 'hustle'?" tanya Azka curiously emphasized her last word.

"Hm...." Mayra raised a corner of her lips. "If from me personally there really isn't, Yank. But from Risa, she thinks I'm the problem."

"Well, how could that be??"

"The palanquin is already engaged to Risa, Yank. But it turns out, he said Sandu still holds a taste for me. So Risa was angry with me when all this time I never had any contact with her fiance again" Mayra explained.

Azka nodded in understanding. "Yes already, Yank. That means it's their problem. You just ignore them, okay?"

"I can't just ignore it, Yank. Risa's 'sick'. I don't understand his mindset. But for an adult woman of her age, she should be good at processing her feelings, right? But he's not, Yank. Her emotions could overflow at any time when there was me, and.." Mayra's words were cut off. She hesitated about saying her husband's next sentence. He was only worried Azkanya was worried.

"And???" Azka wanted to hear his wife's words further by squinting one eye.

Mayra shone her eyes with her eyes. "Hm." Mayra scratched her non-itchy nose. "You don't get angry, yeah!"

Azka scrunched her forehead confused as well as getting curious. "What's up, Yank?"

"I've been on Risa's slap."

"Huh???" Azka opened her mouth to her surprise. Azka's eyes looked at Mayra's eyes sharply. He did not think at all if a woman as good as his wife until she could be slapped by another woman. "That was how it started, Yank?"

Mayra finally told me everything. From the origin he met Risa at the Orenji cafe to her meeting yesterday in Copikita to her so-called 'jallang', including about her lost phone. Gigi Azka clenched holding back the anger. She could not imagine how hurt Mayra was when the word was thrown at her.

Azka clutched her wife's warm body. "I'm sorry, Yank. I cannot be a good husband to you. A problem this big I don't know??" Azka regretted cursing herself.

Mayra's hand hugged Azka straight body. "It's not your fault, Yank. You don't know because I didn't tell you. I was wrong. I think this is just the wind. But it's actually pretty long, too, hehe." Mayra chuckles in her husband's arms.

"Yes my dear." Mayra kissed Azka's lips briefly.

"I'll make sure everything's okay." Azka gently combed the child's hair on Mayra's forehead. "Now we're sleeping, yuk! You must be tired from all day long walks with children, right?"

"Hehehe, yes. But from tomorrow I'm free. So I can stay up as I please doong!" mayra protests spoiled.

"So tonight you want a merchant? I'm sleepy, Yank. Hoaaaaa." Azka pretended to yawn, hoping that Mayra was also sleepy and fast to sleep because there were things she wanted to do.

"Let's go to sleep!!" Mayra pulled Azka's body until they both collapsed in a soft mattress wrapped in soft sprey. They laughed, then prepared to sleep.

....

Tick tick tick tick. The clock ticks. Silent.

Azka still pretended to sleep closed her eyes long enough. He wanted to open his eyes, but he was worried that his body was still awake.

Tick tick tick. Silent.

Azka believes Mayra is asleep. Slowly, he opened his eyes little by little. And sure enough, Mayra was asleep. Azka slowly got up from her sleep and got out of bed. Slowly he also walked closer to the table next to Mayra. Mayra's phone was taken and Azka immediately copied Sandu's number into her phone. It's finished!

Azka took her car keys on Mayra's dresser and walked slowly out of the room.

Azka was in her car and started the engine. But without Azka knowing, Gendis who was still awake peeked at the passing of Azka's car from behind the window curtain of her room close to the parking lot.

"Azka go where are these nights?" hiss Gendis crossed both hands in front of her chest.

Azka drove his car quite quickly split the wet night road because the rain was still left even though it was just a drizzle. After feeling quite far from the housing complex, Azka stopped her car to call Sandu.

PUDDLE. The serial tone rang. It didn't take long, the person across the street picked up the phone.

📞 "Hello," greet the person across.

📞 "Hello, San??" answer Azka to the point.

📞 "Yes? Sorry who is this?"

📞 "I Azka, Mayra's husband. Can we meet?"

Hearing the answer of the person who called him, Sandu was silent for a moment. He felt something was wrong. Mayra's husband was upset that he sent his wife a message that night?

📞 "Hm, what's the need?" ask Sandu to make sure.

📞 "It's about Risa," replied Azka briefly.

Sandu who was also still in the car looked at the glass of his car that poured water. Her fiance's name is called. He understood the problem at that time was not only about the individual. Mayra has a husband, it is clear that her husband is now intervening about Risa's behavior to Mayra who may have known her husband.

Same with Azka, Sandu was also at that time was pulling over his car when his phone rang earlier. Sandu realized that driving on the phone is not good. His safety is more important than receiving a phone while driving especially in the rain like that night.

📞 "Hm, where do you want to meet?" ask Sandu finally.
