MAHMUD, I Love U

MAHMUD, I Love U
Goodbye

Gendis shook her head slowly. Just like Mayra, she also wanted news about Anggun, her beloved little girl was just her dream in broad daylight. His feet and hands were still touching the floor, supporting a limp-feeling body.

"Yes Allah.." - Gendis held tightness in her chest. Then he rubbed his cheek and got up, walking out of the room filled with crying, which further convinced him that his little girl had passed away.

Gendis pulled the doorknob hard, staring at Lina and Wuni who were still staring at the door. The tears of Gendis spilled again. Then he sat down on the row of chairs that were there, bending his face and hiding them on his trembling hands. Lina and Wuni trembled, both standing silently before Gendis letting the owner of Griya Cantika let go of his cry first. Lina and Wuni looked at each other, they still did not know about what had happened.

Gendis's back looks up and down. His head shook slowly. Lina then sat to the right of Gendis and grabbed her back, stroking her slowly. And Wuni followed along sitting to the left of Gendis, his hand embracing the woman's waist. Although the two did not know for sure about the reason that made Gendis, the cheerful woman was crying as much as she could, but both understood, something bad had happened.

"What's up, Te?" asked Lina softly.

Gendis has not been able to answer, her head is still in a daze. Lina's hands were still busy stroking her soothing back. The eyes of Lina and Wuni clashed, the look of their eyes throwing questions at each other.

Before long, Gendis straightened her seat. His head was on the wall behind him. His face was now clearly visible to the two girls sitting flanking him.

"Fuuuuwwww." Gendis took a deep breath through her mouth, then her nose.

"When was the last time you met Anggun?" Gendis asked then suddenly by looking at the one-on-one girl beside her. Gendis smiles.

Lina and Wuni looked back. Although they do not understand why the young aunt suddenly asked Anggun, but they still remember when the last time they met the beautiful girl who meant Gendis.

"I forgot, Te. I haven't seen Anggun for a long time. If not mistaken, the last time was when we went to Blue Lake with the Griya children. There I am the sling Anggun, sitting on the edge of the lake with Auntie, right?" wuni answered by throwing a convincing question.

Gendis nodded. At that time, Anggun was indeed carried by Wuni. The three of them_Gendis, Wuni, and Anggun_sitting on the edge of the lake enjoying the ripples of water swept by the wind. Just then Anggun shouted in excitement pointing at the flock of birds flying over the lake. Gendis took another breath.

"I'm the same, Te. The Blue Lake. But a few days ago I called Mayra, and I had a chat with Anggun. Her voice on the phone turned out to be more adorable, funny," Lina added. Gendis smiles.

"Yes right, Anggun is very funny," added Gendis strongly agreed with Lina's opinion.

Graceful is so adorable. Children his age are funny, being diligent in asking this and that, being active. Especially Graceful. That little girl is smart and funny. Plus her face inherited her mother's beauty. Anyone who saw it would surely be amazed.

Gendis took a deep breath and smiled, but a moment later cried again. He could not accept if Anggun, the little boy who had been considered like his own son could no longer grow. Though Gendis had imagined if Anggun teen later, how beautiful she was. Gendis once imagined if Anggun teenagers later, surely many men are willing to queue to get his heart. In the midst of his cries, Gendis chuckled, at once she recalled again that her wish would not happen. Grace is gone. The little girl left everything.

Gendis again hid her face in both hands, Lina and Wuni looked up again. They were confused by the condition of the young aunt in front of him. Crying, then smiling, then crying again.

"Mayra's fine, isn't she, Te?" Wuni asked finally to the point. She and Lina had not known that the accident that happened to Mayra also included Anggun. So that all they had in mind was Mayra the main character who made his whole family cry that day.

Gendis stopped her crying and returned to sitting straight. He took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly.

"Bismillah O Allah. This is all your power" said Gendis steadily, awakening himself. "Astaghfirullah...." Gendis sighed again.

Lina and Wuni were silent, their eyes sharply staring at Gendis. They were prepared to accept whatever words would come out of his tantric mouth.

"Wun, Lin," called Gendis as she placed both her hands on Lina and Wuni's feet.

"Everybody who lives will die, right?" Tanya Gendis managed to make her two girl employees shudder. But both nodded.

"Who died, Te?" Wuni asked with an expressionless face. His chest up and down preparing to hear the answer that he really did not want.

"Say on WhatsApp Griya's group, and Aunty asks for help, give your best wishes..," Gendis' speech was interrupted, she could not continue the sentence. She was crying again.

"Te, don't scare me, Te. What's the matter exactly?" Urge Lina to start to be able to read the meaning of the smile and cry from her tantric lips. He saw his tantric lips tremble withstanding bitterly.

"From today on, we can no longer see Graceful cuteness."

"I mean, Te?" Wuni still asked expressionlessly.

Since Gendis asked about Anggun earlier, Wuni had actually understood that something had happened to the little girl. But Wuni who usually cablak, that day could very well control his cherry mouth. In that still expressionless face, Wuni's eyes began to wet, he gulped. Lina. He had also understood the direction of his tantric talk.

"Te, why, Te???" Lina started crying. He shook Gendis's feet, impatient to hear everything directly from her.

Gendis took another deep breath, then smiled calmly. "The wind is calm there. Pray yes! Anggun must have been the prettiest angel there. Pray for Mayra as well so that she can accept all of this, huh??" Gendis cupped her hands together again on each of the legs of the girl beside her.

Lina and Wuni gawked. His eyes were straight forward half empty. Breath choked. Just like Gendis, they also did not believe in their sense of hearing. Gracefully died??

Seeing Lina and Wuni look shocked, Gendis' chest felt bitter again. With the remnants of energy on his feet, Gendis walked away from the two girls. Gendis staggered down the hallway holding onto the wall. The woman was crying again. He needed fresh air to fill his tight chest cavity.

Although with step by step that felt heavy, and with dozens of pairs of eyes that had been staring at him was astonished but completely ignored, now Gendis was in the garden behind the hospital. He sat alone under a banyan tree whose roots dangled from above touching the ground. The cool air down there is quite capable of reconciling the stuffy heart of Gendis.

"Yes Allah...." Gendis as he wailed, his head he docked upwards with his legs straight forward. "Yes Allah...." Gendis shoulders went up and down enduring the sadness and disappointment in her cries. If his heart is that sick, what about Mayra and Azka?
