Jared looked at Lily as if giving a disapproving gesture, but the voice of Dientin who had entered the house again sounded.

"Jared, don't you want to go into Aunt's house again?"

"Huh? G-don't you, Bi."

"Let's go inside!"

Although it is not easy, but inevitably Jared again set foot in the residence of his former lover. It seems like he hasn't been here in a long time. The last time was probably about 10 years ago, when she was dating Rose and Lily was still in Senior High School. At that time Jared also did not work with Owen, he used to only work in an Agency office together with Rose.

Jared sat on a sofa in the living room feeling wrong. Not because he still has a taste for Rose or remembers his past, but he does not want Dientin to ask more about why he can drive Lily today.

"Lily, get Jared a drink, yeah." Dientin ordered the youngest daughter.

"Yes, Mom."

Jeez, Jared's massaging his temples. Why is he visiting here.

Dientin sat in front of Jared who still seemed confused because of the sudden absurd circumstances.

"It's been a long time, yes" he said.

"Ah, yes, Aunt...."

"How are you, Jared?"

"I'm great, Aunt Dien." Jared tried to answer that.

"Thank God, Auntie, look you've changed a lot." The middle-aged woman smiled wryly, while Jared only grinned at the horse.

Not long after, Lily came to serve a glass of tea in front of Jared and asked him to drink immediately.

"Drink, then go home!" ketus Lily without further ado.

"Lilly...." Dientin shook his head towards the child as if reminding Lily not to behave like that.

"Sit down too, Lily!" said Dientin then-requesting the child.

Lily shook her head. "I'm tired, Mom."

"Aren't you going to thank Jared for bringing you home?"

Lily clucked her tongue, but ended up sitting next to her mother.

"Thank you for driving me" Lily said without looking at Jared. He was still upset at the man.

"Why can you take Lily home, Jared?" Dientin looked back at the man in front of him.

"So I told you that we just happened to meet, Mom," Lily said.

"Mom didn't ask you, I asked Jared."

Lily fell silent and bent her face.

Jared scratched his temple at a glance. "We met at Jeff's birthday party, and it just so happened that Jeff's parents were my boss."

"Oh, Jeff Gloria's son, huh?" Dientin knows that because his relationship with Gloria has also been very good since Lily introduced him to the Jeff family.

"Yes, Auntie."

"Are you married, Jared?"

"Mother!" Lily's intention was to prevent her mother from asking the man too far.

"Not yet, Auntie."

Dientin nodded his head while smiling. "Yes, have a drink" he said later.

Jared sipped the tea in front of him, but had not had time to swallow the liquid through his throat, he actually regurgitated the tea.

"Gosh, what's wrong?" Dientin looked panicked, immediately grabbed the tissue box and gave it to Jared. But due to the incident, some of Jared's clothes were wet inescapable.

Jared immediately put the tea glass to the table and highlighted Lily who was holding amused across it.

"Surely he deliberately gave his tea the salt, just watch out for you!" inner Jared. He looked at Lily with a look of annoyance. While being stared at as if he had done nothing wrong. Lily instead focused on looking at her own fingernails without wanting to return Jared's gaze which was definitely irritated at her.

"Are you okay?" Dientin asked Jared after he felt Jared was choking.

"It's okay, Auntie. I'm just afraid of high blood from drinking salty tea" Jared said.

"What's? Salt tea?" The shocked Dientin immediately looked at his innocent-looking daughter.

"You gave the tea salt, Lily?" Dientin looked at Lily with a suspicious look.

"No, where is possible!" argue Lily.

"Hhhh! Why is it like this," jared grumbled while grunting in annoyance.

He is currently driving his car home. He never thought why he would visit Lily's house. All of this was because of Jeff's request, but how could he possibly blame the boy? Besides Jeff is Owen's son, he also loved the handsome boy very much and could not scold him.

"Give tea a taste of salt anyway!" she was still angry with Lily.

"Take care of you! Next time I'll pay back what you did" he said exasperatedly.

As Owen recalled, Lily used to be a very sweet and reserved girl. Why is his attitude like this now? Is it because Jared blatantly alleged that the girl had a taste for him? So Lily got upset?

"Am I really overconfident, huh?" Jared went back to monologuing himself.

Arriving at the Mansion, apparently his return was awaited by Jeff.

"Uncle...."

Jeff said hello and immediately stormed Jared's body while riding into his carrier, this habit always occurs every time he came home. He could not be angry and instead welcomed the adorable boy. Sometimes, he just feels like a second father to Jeff.

"Uncle, why did it come back so long?"

"Old?"

"Yes, did Uncle and Lily go for a walk first?"

"Nothing, where is possible. Uncle just drove him home."

Jeff nodded his head, apparently understanding what Jared meant. The boy did have intelligence above the average child his age.

"But... long time!" Suddenly Jeff scowled as he folded his arms around his chest, Jared chuckled at him.

"Are Jeff going to daycare tomorrow?"

"Why indeed? Would you like to see Lily again on daycare?" guess Jeff.

"D-no!" argue Jared. Actually, he did want to meet Lily for a mission to get back at the girl, but he did not want to be blatant to Jeff, surely this boy will open his plans to Lily later.

"Tomorrow Jeff's not going to daycare, because tomorrow I'm full at home." Gloria came and chimed in on Jared's conversation and the little boy was held in the man's arms.

"Oh...." Jared nodded his head. "Alright, Mistress. Excuse me to the back pavilion" he said.

"Hmm.." said Gloria but still staring at Jared full of investigation.

Jared dropped Jeff from his carrier.

"Jared?"

"Yes, Mistress?"

"Did you and Lily know each other before today?"

"Ehm, not really," replied Jared.

"OKAY. I'm sorry I asked you about personal matters because I thought you guys knew each other."

Jared was silent not trying to explain.

"Uncle, Jeff got an iron man gift from Lily. So cool!" jeff said with red cheeks for pleasure.

"If it's a gift from Uncle, what does Jeff like?"

"Great likes! Jeff will take Iron Man in a cool car from Uncle Jared."

Jared rattled Jeff's hair with anxiety, so he stopped the intention to move because Jeff was still asking him to talk. Jared did gift Jeff a toy car that has a battery and can be boarded as a birthday gift of the boy today.

"When Jeff grows up, Jeff will take Lily in a real car. Like Uncle Jared. Is that okay, Mommy?" Jeff looked at Gloria with his shady gaze.

"Can, baby.." said Gloria. "But, Mommy was invited too, right?"

"Mommy's with Daddy! Jeff is with Lily and Uncle Jared together-" Jeff's words paused, the boy seemed to think out loud-thinking who would accompany Jared later.

"Not to think about it, Boy!" jared said chuckling at Jeff's innocent babble.

"Hmm, okay. Jeff with Mommy and Daddy. And Uncle... Jeff will leave Uncle with Lily. Good right? So no one will be alone."

Now it was Gloria's turn to chuckle. How could a kid Jeff's age think like this. "Alright, Jeff. Uncle Jared should rest now. You should sleep too, yeah..." Gloria took Jeff in a sling.

Jared thought about the little boy's words.

"If Jeff is big and I don't have a partner yet, Jeff's automatic statement is true that I will remain alone." Jared smiled smirkily.
