An unexpected meeting with Rose today left Jared's mood in a mess, he was not willing to work and ended in Owen's astonishment, because Jared had never been like this. Usually the man is good at sorting and does not mix personal affairs with work.

Even Owen rarely saw his assistant get sick. I don't know what's going on today with Jared.

"You sick? If yes, go home!" said Owen flat. Thankfully, Jared's boss' mood was good since returning from the hospital, reportedly Gloria was two-bodied. That's why Gloria was not feeling well and this morning both checked the woman's condition to the doctor.

Lily was stunned for a while when she saw Jared coming to the Hospital. He didn't think the man knew he was here. Lily also didn't think Jared was looking for her whereabouts like this.

"Certainly looking for you" answered Jared. He held out a paperbag in front of Lily.

"What's this?" Lily peeked a little at the contents of the paperbag.

"About 7 o'clock after delivering Jeff to daycare!" Then Jared thought of something. He took it out of his pocket in his suit.

"This.." the man held out three chocolate bars. And that's Lily's favorite.

Lily looked at it with sparkling eyes. Because he did not think Jared could be very good, giving him food and also his favorite chocolate.

"Don't GR! It's Jeff's, 'cause you didn't come to daycare so he asked me to deliver this to you."

"Oh...." Again, Lily could only nod. So, because he wanted to deliver this chocolate made Jared visit his residence early in the morning. And maybe it's because of this too that Jared's been bothered to see him at the hospital.

"Mommy fainted. Rose and I brought her here immediately."

Hearing Rose's name mentioned, again made Jared remember the moment of his unexpected meeting with the woman this morning.

"Then?"

"Mom has to undergo intensive care, now that mother is being treated." Lily's voice sounded trembling.

Jared approached and held onto Lily's shoulder, inviting her to sit on a chair lined up neatly on the side of the Hospital's wall.

"Calm down, it'll all be over."

"Sorry, but are you going to help me with my medical expenses? Sorry if I asked you about this?"

"Of course, I'm not playing around with that. So, don't think about the cost anymore." Jared reached out, about to touch Lily's shoulder that seemed to shake because the discussion about her mother might make it a positive penny. However, Jared pulled back his hand, degrading to do just that.

"Did you see my brother this morning?"

"Hmmm..."

"What did he say?" Lily looked over and looked at Jared.

"No, there's no discussion between us." Jared did not want to tell Lily that he had been hot to hear Rose say that he wanted to show off.

"I'm sorry" said Lily bowed.

"Sorry why?"

"I'm sorry I lied to you. My sister didn't actually go with her husband, she was divorced about a year ago."

Lily turned her head back, wanting to see how Jared would react when she found out her brother was alone now. Is Jared still hopeful? Maybe Lily could see that answer from the man's eyes.

Hearing that Jared was silent, giving no statement, but his eyes and Lily's eyes clashed with each other, forming a straight line that inexplicably made Lily's blood rustle.

While on Jared's own side, he sees that Lily has a deep taste for him. Either his intuition is too high. Or because of his instincts that never misses, but he has indeed locked his own answer in the heart. The answer he got from the look in the girl's eyes while looking at her. It's very clear that Lily has that feeling to her and somehow Jared feels like a manic when he realizes it.

"How do you respond?"

"Huh? Why?" Jared misbehaved when Lily's voice asked him again, maybe he was too late into the brownish clear twinkle of the girl.

Lily smiled thinly. "On my brother...."

Jared laughed softly. "Why comment on it? I don't care."

"May I ask you one thing?"

"Ask!"

"Do you still have a taste for her?"

"Oh come on! What's with this question!"

"I just want to make sure. Answer it honestly."

Jared threw away his gaze, for some reason he did not like if Lily was talking about Rose, even though Rose was her ex-lover and the woman was also Lily's older sister, but still he felt strange discussing another woman with Lily.
