Waking up in a state of silence, I had to exhale heavily when I realized that I was still in Richard's residence. That means my attempt to escape has failed, even now the man appears to be sitting on a chair placed in front of the bed that I currently occupy. Richard sat with a fixed look at me.

"Away awake?" his tanyanya was accompanied by a slanted smile.

I just wanted to open my mouth to fight him, but he immediately chuckled like he was mocking me.

"Don't try to escape again, you won't be able to get out of here without my permission!"

What the hell is Owen doing here? Does he know where I am? Is he going to pick me up now?

I hurriedly turned around, wanting to head towards the exit of the room but my steps came to a halt when Richard's tall body blocked.

I shook my head violently, trying to get past his body but Richard's hand immediately caught mine. I brushed him off but he gripped him very firmly.

We glanced at each other with sharp eyes. I looked hatefully while Richard showed a plea-filled look.

"Don't go to him!" said the man glimmered. From his words, it shows that he knows what my purpose is now. That means he also knows about Owen's arrival down there.

"You know, he won't take you anymore. You are mine! Do you think Owen wants you after what we did last night?"

I swallowed a heavy salivary. Richard said deeply. Right, I've been corrupted and betrayed Owen, is he willing to accept my condition now?

Even if I choose to leave Owen's life because of my circumstances, it doesn't mean I want to live with Richard. It won't!

"Rest him, he'll go away by himself later. I don't want to see him either!" said Richard, his hand grip on my arm started to loosen and not as strong as before.

"Think of what I say Gloria, she won't accept your condition. He'll definitely choose another woman more than you. You must know he'll easily get whichever woman he wants, right? For that, think about it. Only I can accept you for who you are!" concluded Richard.

Richard inched away, then he looked back at me who was silent on the spot thinking of what he said that seemed to doctrine me.

"One more thing, if you go back to him, I'll make sure that the scandal between you guys gets smelled by the media. You don't want your girlfriend to be ruined, do you?" richard said on the doorstep to make me think harder.

Without me noticing the tears coming back to my cheeks, Richard's words really bothered my mind. Especially about Owen who is unlikely to accept me in this situation. Yes, she could choose another woman who would have been easier to get than just waiting for me who was Richard's wife.

I went back to the window, saw Owen who was still down there. I don't know what he was talking about with Lauren-the butler at Richard's house.

I wanted to scream, but I didn't because I realized that everything would be useless and useless. Owen will be deeply disappointed at the unintentional betrayal I committed. Once he finds out about it, he will definitely leave me like there is no meaning to it anymore.
