Gloria could not fall asleep because her husband had not yet arrived home when it was very late.
As soon as he heard the sound of the car, he rushed down from his bed and put on his sleeping kimono. She walked down the stairs to welcome her husband home.
Gloria gasped as she watched Owen return home to the Mansion not alone, but rather with someone whose familiar face looked at the woman's eyes.
"Darling?" Owen greeted Gloria, then smiled faintly. But, Gloria looked at him with deep pain, let alone her husband's messy-looking appearance.
"What's going on? And he. I kind of knew him," said Gloria softly.
"Ah, there's no. He's Sean. You remember?"
Gloria nodded, then looked at Sean who looked like an unwell person because the man's eyes looked soft and his limp body was now supported by Owen.
"So is my cousin."
"Oh really? I just found out because you didn't tell me back then" Gloria said frankly.
"Yes, Sean will be staying here for a while."
Gloria nodded faintly, even so she still felt some awkwardness.
A servant ran in from the back pavilion then approached the three.
"I'm sorry, ma'am, I'm late to open the door" said the maid, who seemed to have been forced to wake up because of Owen's late return.
"What the hell, I've opened the door for my husband" Gloria replied.
"Please take her to the guest room." Owen had the waiter take care of Sean. The servant nodded and helped lead Sean to the room on the left wing of the ground floor room.
Owen embraced Gloria, today it felt so tired. "Let's go to the room, honey," he said slowly. Gloria nodded and followed Owen's steps which led her into their room.
Arriving in the room, Gloria noticed Owen's movements that seemed ordinary as if she did not want to explain anything to him about Sean. Owen entered the bathroom and came out a few minutes later in an already fresher state.
"Why did you suddenly bring Sean here?" gloria asked when Owen had finished his bath.
"What's wrong, my cousin Sean. It doesn't matter, does it?"
Gloria fell silent. Her feelings pick up on the signal that there is something Owen is hiding from her.
"I see him as being unwell. Not like we first met," murmured Gloria.
"Well, Sean's not feeling well."
Owen climbed onto the bed and laid down his body. Gloria did the same. They're facing each other.
"Is there something you're hiding from me?" gloria asked, stroking her husband's face.
"Nothing, go to sleep. It's so late, next time there's no need to wait for me to come home." Owen kissed his wife's lips briefly then returned to his yes position and closed his eyes.
Actually Gloria also wanted to ask about Celine's speech this afternoon, about the honeymoon place that made Gloria's heart warm up. But seeing her husband looking tired, Gloria finally chose silence and decided to sleep.
______
Early in the morning, Owen and Gloria were already at the dinner table for breakfast. This time, Sean was there with them. While Oxela and Jade did not exist because they had returned to their Mansion since yesterday afternoon.
"How are you doing, Sean?" asked Owen as he chewed his breakfast.
Sean nodded slowly. "It's better" replied the man.
Gloria pours Owen and Sean coffee and serves it to the two men.
Gloria just nodded slowly.
Owen throbs. "Sean, today Jared will take you to my apartment. You better be there because I don't want my wife to feel uncomfortable with you being here" she said.
"Alright," replied Sean according to.
Gloria noticed the interaction of the two. He could guess if something had happened and these two men were hiding from him. However, as much as possible Gloria did not want to put on a suspicious face. He will find out secretly.
"Owen, can I talk to you?" ask Gloria.
"About?"
"About us" Gloria replied. He could not bear to ask about Celine's statement, because Gloria was a woman who used to express things that she did not like.
"We'll talk about it later" Owen said as he glanced at Sean who was among them. As if hinting at Gloria that she wouldn't talk about the two of them if Sean was still among them.
"OK...."
Finished breakfast, Gloria and Owen decided to speak in the man's study.
"Owen, is it true that Athena was Celine's chosen place?" ask Gloria to the point.
Owen chuckled softly. "You want to talk to me about this? Honey, is this important?"
"Jawab only!" gloria was angry.
"Why get angry?"
"Is that really the place for your honeymoon?"
Owen laughed again. "Celine told you that?" tanyakanya.
"Yes!" furious Gloria.
Owen cupped his wife's cheeks. "If I told you he was lying, would you believe me?" Owen stared intently at Gloria's neutrality seriously.
"I believe you" said Gloria.
"Yes, then don't talk about this."
Owen felt it was not important to discuss things that would actually make them quarrel. He wanted Gloria to trust him. About Athena, he never heard if Celine said about the place, obviously Celine only spoke to Gloria. I don't know what that woman meant.
"If it's about Sean?" gloria asked carefully.
Owen frowned. "Sean? Why with?" ask the man.
"What are you hiding from me about Sean?"
"Sean is sick. He's going to be in town. That's all," replied Owen lying. Owen didn't want all his problems to weigh on Gloria's mind.
"really?"
"You said you believed me, didn't you?"
Gloria nodded, but this time she caught the strangeness of her husband's attitude. He was dissatisfied with Owen's reply this time.
