After the incident

Gloria stared blankly at the open window of the room. As far as the eye could see, he found no other settlements or houses around the house he now lived in. He also does not know whether he is still in the same country as before or is already in another country. Clearly, he did not know where his current position was.

Wanting him out and breaking through the iron trellis of the window, but several times doing so, he realized that his efforts had been in vain. Now he should be a prisoner in custody. Worse yet, he had no spirit to do anything.

Dert....

The door creaked slowly, indicating that someone was opening it slowly. Gloria didn't look because she already knew who did it. Sean, the man frowned staring up at the nightstand alternately staring at Gloria on the side of the window.

"You didn't eat your food?" asked Sean in slow intonation. Gloria did not answer, making Sean step forward to approach the position of the woman.

"Gloria, don't act stupid! You think with you not eating, this whole thing's gonna be over? You're wrong! Instead you will face a new problem that is your own health."

Gloria smiled wryly. "How can I eat while my husband and son are eating out there!"

"For that, don't waste your life! If it turns out they're still alive, then find you starving to death .. then you'll regret not touching your food at all!" press Sean.

Gloria fell silent. Now he looks at Sean. "Why did you save me?" tanyakanya.

"Because I feel guilty! You're right, this is all because of my fault. I caused Owen to enter this world again."

"You're sober?" Gloria smiled cynically.

"For that, let me save you."

"Do you think I believe you?" Gloria squealing. "I don't trust you, Sean! What you're supposed to save is my baby or Owen!"

"I also have another reason" Sean murmured softly.

"What do you mean?"

"Forget over! Eat your food...." Sean moved on and left Gloria with his own thoughts.

Gloria clenched her hands, clasping the iron trellis of the window tightly as if venting her anger there. He approached the nightstand and saw his lunch served there. Realizing Sean's words have a point, he also forced to bribe food even though no taste at all.

A few days passed. Oxela and Jade announce Owen's search on Jade's television station. Anyone who can find your brother, dead or alive, will get a fantastic gift.

The reason they did all that, was to lure the enemy. It is not impossible that one of Mark's men will betray and release Owen if he hears such a tempting gift. That's the idea Jared came up with and approved by Oxela and Jade.

If this doesn't work, then they will do another plan.

Right now all they could do was wait while devising their next strategy. Because even if they barged in to find Owen's whereabouts in Mark's Mansion, then their power would not be enough to match the power of Mark and Richard who are the most powerful mafia in the country.

"They put an ad on tv and gave a fantastic gift to find Owen, Dad!" Richard grabbed his head while pacing in front of Markus. Suddenly, he felt scared, afraid that Owen could survive from his captivity room.

"Calm down, everything's gonna be okay, kid!"

"Are you guys trustworthy?" ask Richard to Mark.

"of course! They are very loyal to me. If they betray, the lives of their children and wives are at stake. No one would dare to help Owen even if the gift was huge" Markus said, ending with a thunderous voice of laughter.

"What about Gloria?" ask Richard.

Markus shook his head slowly. "He managed to escape, it seems Sean is behind all this" replied Markus as he snorted at a glance.

Markus wants to switch to Oxela, because he feels Owen will also be destroyed if his sister is injured. Unfortunately, Richard prevented that because Richard's goal was Gloria.

"Why do you want Gloria to die so badly?" ask Markus. "If Owen wants to be destroyed we can eliminate Oxela alone" he said.

Laughter in unison both father and son filled the room. It was as if all their plans had succeeded completely.

"Aren't you going to have Gloria again? Why would you kill him?"

"I find it hard to conquer it again. He hates me too much!" said Richard.

"Nothing is difficult for us. If Owen can lose his memory after this, then we can do something similar to Gloria. They won't remember each other."

Mark's words made Richard grin. The idea sounds brilliant.

"Then, if Gloria's departure there was Sean's interference. Where'd Sean take him to hide, Dad?" asked Richard who was getting enthusiastic.

"Does that mean you took my advice, son?"

Richard smiled in anguish. "Pad's advice can too. I'll think about it, which is what makes Owen suffer more. See Gloria die or see Gloria come back with me?"

Richard gave a smile, he could not wait to make the two people who loved each other become strangers to each other.

Someone opened Owen's locker room. He was the Doctor who dealt with the wound on Owen's stomach.

"I will change the bandage today" he said softly greeting Owen flatly, for he should not be too warm-hearted with an underground captive like Owen.

Owen did not answer the doctor's greeting. His body was shivering, his mouth was muddled and appeared to turn blue. The doctor, who began to notice Owen's state, began to panic and tried to touch the man's forehead. Owen had a high fever.

Actually the doctor was not allowed to give Owen any other medicine other than medicine for wounds in his stomach. But, once this he violated it because he had a code of conduct to try to save his patients.

"Drink, I'll help you, sir."

Owen tried to sit down and take his medicine. He did not refuse because he really wanted to be healthy and take revenge on everyone who caused him to be trapped in this room.

When Owen finished taking his medicine, he realized that the doctor in front of him was not the doctor he was handling yesterday. The doctor who was in front of him was very familiar to Owen's eyes.

Owen's eyes squinted, probing the appearance of the doctor.

"James?" lirih Owen is stuck.

"Be quiet! Whatever you know. Shut the fuck up!" whispered the Doctor who appeared to be wearing glasses with his hair in pitch black. James should have been a bright brunette.

At that instant Owen also shut up. He did not expect that in front of him was really James, his friend. Owen doesn't understand why James is handling it now.

"I'll help change your bandage, sir." The doctor said as he glanced at the two guards who had been following him into Owen's room, as if giving Owen a signal that there were not just the two of them.

James started changing the bandages, occasionally staring at Owen's state with concern.

"You'll be healed! Jeff and Gloria are waiting for you" whispered James.

"Are they okay?" ask Owen.

"Jeff is safe with Karina. Gloria..." James did not continue the sentence because he was confused to sort out the words.

"What's wrong with Gloria?"

"I heard he was with Sean."

Owen was flabbergasted to hear this. He doesn't trust Sean. Why is Gloria with Sean? This made him even more desperate and impatient to want to get out of this cursed place.
