"Gloria has been found and is doing well. What else are you waiting for?"

The man silently digested the speech of the person - who was heard over the phone line - who was connected to him.

"I can't lie to Oxela all the time. Anyway, Jeff's been at James' house too long. Let Gloria and Jeff meet" said the man again.

"I'll think about it. I'm still waiting for that old jackass to rot away in front of my eyes and Richard to be out of my hands."

"Alright, Owen. Get your revenge as soon as possible, before Gloria's current position, Richard knows it again!"

"Hmm, tighten your Mansion's guard."

"That's for sure" said someone from across the street.

The phone was disconnected, the man immediately deactivated his phone, and then kept it in a secret box that he hid under the tiles of the room he occupied.

She opened her wardrobe and started preparing to do the mission today.

After looking neat, he came out of his private room in the back pavilion of the magnificent Mansion.

He again put on a flat face and prepared to follow the instructions Richard would give today although in fact he was very sick of doing so.

"Nico, did Mr Richard blame you for the woman's escape yesterday?" A colleague who works as Richard's personal bodyguard-groomed him-when he was in the corridor.

"That's how it is" he answered briefly.

"I heard that woman was Mr. Richard's ex-wife."

"Prepare for work, Alex! Do you want to get fired for gossiping?" insinuations.

The man named Alex was astounded, then walked along with him to the distinguished room of Mr. Richard.

Arriving there, they gathered with the others, forming a neat row before their current leader Richard.

"You should already know your duties today. Some guard the Mansion as usual and some look for Gloria!" tell Richard in his arrogant lead style.

"Two possibilities, the woman escaped to her old Mansion. Or go to his sister-in-law's Mansion!" said Richard again.

"Where should we go, sir?" ask someone from their group.

"Seek in the Mansion his sister-in-law!" richard said, making him chuckle in his heart, because that was what he had guessed before.

"Nico..." Richard called him.

"What's up, Mister?"

"You don't have to come, watch this Mansion. Friends Prof. Jamie to control my father's situation."

"Good, Sir." He felt Richard was starting to fear that he would save Gloria again this time, thus leaving her to remain in the Mansion.

Is Richard starting to suspect him, now? No, Richard already thought that he had lost his past memories.

The group of people working under Richard's hands began to disperse and take their respective positions. Some went on a mission to find Gloria, guard the Mansion and some took care of other necessities for the dark business still held by Uncle Markus.

Although he was disappointed to be assigned to remain at the Mansion instead of looking for Gloria, but his work this time was also quite happy.

Richard walked quickly in front of him and he walked firmly behind the man. Although his status was now a lackey for Richard, who would have thought if he could clearly know whatever the movements of the people in this Mansion were now.

By pretending to forget everything, he can control and know Richard's movements and evil plans.

As of this moment, he knew for sure that Richard's men would be looking for Gloria at the Jade Mansion, so from the beginning he had asked Jade to tighten the guard there, which was why he was quite calm now. The estimate is correct that Richard must have had his men search for Gloria there.

"Prof. Jamie's...." Richard greeted the mainstay professor who was now in front of them.

"Everything else we should do for my father's treatment? It's been two months that I've seen his injuries not get better or worse."

Profs. Jamie glanced at him, pretending not to look at the Professor.

"Today I will re-inject the usual drugs. But this time I will add a new formula to speed up the drying of the burn," explained prof. Jamie.

"Is it powerful?" Richard asked as he thought about the Professor's words.

"You don't have to doubt it. The new formula has been tested before. The burns suffered by Mr Markus were quite severe, so it did not improve very quickly. It'll go through. Even so, the situation in the organs in his body is better now, although what appears outside is still very severe," concluded the Professor.

"All right, I'm giving it all up to you. I'm counting on you, Prof!" added Richard.

Again, Prof. Jamie glanced at him and he just smiled faintly at the man. Of course, the glance and smile have their own meaning for both of them.

Uncle Markus is sick at the moment. The old man suffered severe burns to almost 80% of his body. It all happened because of the burning of the basement which used to be the place of storage.

Do not ask why the room could burn, of course all is the plan. He burned the place to save himself. At the same time, Uncle Mark was there to see his condition with two guards and without Richard. He fought with Uncle Mark, causing the old man to fall, and he set the place on fire.

A guard was killed by roasting the red whiz. Meanwhile, Uncle Markus suffered severe burns. One other guard got away, just like him.

Even so, Richard made use of it. He told his family that he was the one who died in the fire.

Jade and Jared are left to take care of the funeral and he does not want to miss to take advantage of the situation by telling the truth when Jade and Jared come to visit Uncle Markus-Mansion to take care of it the body that turned out to be not him.

The Flashback

"Owen?" Jade is surprised to find Owen alive and finds him. Though he was sure he had just taken care of Owen's body for an autopsy at the Hospital. He gave up the intention to go to the Hospital, let Jared take care of it so that no one suspects if he is still in Uncle Mark's residence now. He also followed the steps of Owen who settles in the rubble of the former fire.

At the very corner, Owen stopped his steps and turned to look at Jade.

"Let everyone know that I'm dead just like Richard said. Tell Jared what happened. I'll call him later. Can you give me access to that?"

Jade did not hesitate to give her one cell phone to make it easier for Owen to communicate outside the Mansion, especially to contact her and Jared.

"Get it. But, what should I tell Oxela?"

"Tell him I'm dead, this is all to protect you. I'll move slowly to avenge all the deeds of Uncle Markus, Sean and Richard after Gloria is found. They're the ones who split my family apart" Owen said.

"alright. Are you all right?"

Owen nodded.

"I think we've lost you..” said Jade.

Owen smiled faintly. "I'm picking Oxela. Ah, you guys look at Jeff's condition at the James Mansion every once in a while. Don't tell Oxela about this. I just want to protect you all from being suspected" Owen said.

"Then, what about you? Shouldn't you run away with me right now?" ask Jade again.

"No, I originally wanted to escape. But I have another mission. James' brother is Uncle Mark's confidant professor. All this time he gave me an injection that everyone thought would paralyze my memory. At first I thought so, too, but it was just a shot of vitamins and a sedative."

"So?"

"So after this I will pretend not to remember my past. Let them arrest me and give me a new identity."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, that way I'll know their next plan. I also want to know where Gloria is. Go quickly, Jade! No one knows about this. I'll call you or Jared later. Thanks for the phone" Owen said as he turned to a door there.
