Yanti returned to work as usual with her two friends. Yanti realized that if her two best friends, would want to ask her a lot of things. Their attitude slightly changed after finding out who Yanti really was.
Their friendship relationship, suddenly becomes awkward. Yanti also felt sad, because they seemed to deliberately keep an attitude from her. Not only that, they talk less and don't like to joke anymore like they used to. Yanti kangen with all that.
Lunch time has arrived, as usual, Yanti also brought lunch that has now been placed on the table. He sat waiting for his two best friends, but they did not come. Yanti's heart felt sad and disappointed by what she was currently going through. He has been abandoned by his best friend.
Yanti rested her head on the table. A round of clear water dripped slowly on her chubby cheeks. His cries were slow, but no one dared to approach him. Yanti really felt ostracized.
"Well, can we sit down?" Sasa's voice sounded like water in the dry season.
Yanti raised her head and wiped her tears with both hands. Her sweet smile expanded while looking at her two best friends who had been standing in front of her.
"Sit down, why ask permission?" yanti replied by asking back.
"I'm sorry, if all this time I didn't know that Mom was the wife of the owner of this Mall," said Sasa awkwardly.
"I, too, apologize for teasing and teasing Mom a lot. I really don't know" said Mina, looking down.
"Why are you? I just want to be friends with you guys. Before marrying Mas Deni, I was already friends with you two. So, I'm very sad because you don't want to be friends with me anymore" Yanti said sadly.
Sasa and Mina looked at each other, they then sat down on the seat they used to sit on.
"Is, the husband you can't reveal to us is Little Boss?" ask Sasa later.
"True, we got married after we went out of town. If I reveal that moment, I'm afraid that you'll stay away from me" Yanti replied with a long sigh.
"When we bullied you, did you tell your husband?" ask Mina scared.
"Of course, no. You guys are my best friends, there is no way I can complain because you guys are teased" Yanti replied smiling. "Make me Yanti your friend, not your Boss' wife."
"Alright, then, we start lunch now," Mina excitedly invited.
Yanti smiled happily, seeing that her two friends were now back to how they were. His desire to remain friendly with them even though he was already married to a small boss, finally materialized. Yanti and her two best friends remain friends.
Meanwhile, Deni can breathe a sigh of relief seeing Yanti can already smile back. It was inseparable from his efforts in making Sasa and Mina want to behave as usual with Yanti. He should use his position as a leader.
Before the break time arrived, Deni called Sasa and Mina to his room. Of course to make them able to be kind to Yanti like before.
"You know why I called you here?" asked Deni coldly.
"We don't know, Mr. Deni," Sasa and Mina replied almost simultaneously.
"You're my wife's friend, Yanti. Right?" ask Deni again.
"Yes," answered both.
"Did my wife have anything wrong with you? Or did he hurt you both?" asked Deni while looking intently at the two friends of Yanti.
Sasa and Mina looked frightened. They look at each other. They don't want to be fired because it's very difficult to find a job.
"Bu Yanti, never hurt us. He has nothing wrong with us either. Ms. Yanti, a good woman," Sasa replied courageously.
"Right, Mr. Deni," Mina replied confirming Sasa's remark.
"Then, what's the reason you don't want to be friends with him anymore?" asked Deni a little loudly.
"We .. we just feel afraid to do wrong to him. And Mr. Deni will be able to fire us," replied Sasa nervously.
"Because now you are not Yanti's friend anymore, then there is no reason for you to keep working here. You're not good friends to my wife. You left him without caring about his predicament. You know how much he loves you more than anyone else. I just feel jealous of you, but it turns out you do not care about him at all," said Deni at length.
"Sir Deni, we're sorry. We just felt it was inappropriate to be friends with the wife of our superior," Sasa replied as he squeezed his own hand out of fear.
"Let's just say, never care about people talking about your friendship. He's just happy to have you. And I will make sure that my wife will continue to be happy. If your friendship makes my wife sad, I make sure you will never be able to see Yanti again" Deni threatened.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Deni. We also don't want to see Ms. Yanti sad. Then what should we do?" mina asked with a trembling body.
"Go back to be friends like you used to be. As before you know, if Yanti is my wife," Deni said somewhat lower his tone.
"Well, Mr. Deni," they replied simultaneously.
That's what might be called using the department to get something. Because Deni will do anything, as long as Yanti can smile.
"Pak Deni, there is a doctor Dimas looking for the Father," said Riko disperse his daydream.
"Well, where's Dimas' dad?" ask Deni later.
"There's in the room, Father" replied Riko.
Deni rushed to his work room. There, doctors Dimas and Miss Winda were seen sitting in front of his desk.
"Dad, Aunt."
Deni's voice made the doctor Dimas and Miss Winda look at him. They seemed to harbor a deep longing for something and Deni knew what purpose they had come to meet him. Deni kissed the doctor's hands Dimas and Miss Winda as his respect.
"Deni, you must already know, what the purpose of our arrival is to meet you. We will not waste time on pleasantries" said Dr Dimas to the point.
"Dad, Deni reckon, this time is not right if you want to meet my wife. Right now he has a burden to complete. Maybe tonight, I'll bring her to your house myself. I hope you are patient for some time," said Deni trying to make doctors Dimas and Miss Winda understand the condition of Yanti's feelings.
"Deni, as you would like. We've solved the problem of the girl who confessed to Vani. He's gone now. So we want to quickly, you'll soon meet us with Vani" Dr Dimas said.
"Deni understands Dad. But, sorry. Not today," Deni replied softly.
"Deni, frankly, I don't like your attitude. I hope you won't be like your mother, expecting what shouldn't be yours. Vani is our son. We've been waiting for him for years. You seem to want to hinder our meeting," said Miss Winda annoyed.
"My wife, don't accuse Deni. She's not like her mother. Why don't we be patient for a few more moments. After all, we have been patient waiting, how difficult it is to be patient a little more time," said doctor Dimas won his wife.
"I'd really like to meet him, Mom. Vani ... Vans." The tears of Bu Winda dripped down profusely. Doctor Dimas hugged Miss Winda and tried to calm her down.
"Yes, later we will also definitely meet Vani. You calm down first. We're in Deni's office. If anyone hears, it could be the ingredients of employee gossip here," said doctor Dimas.
"I don't care. Deni would have wanted to have Vani himself. We are her parents. I'm her mother, who conceived and gave birth," Ms. Winda said, expressing emotion.
Deni looked silent. Bu Winda's accusation against him is very unreasonable. Maybe because it was too carried away by emotions, so Miss Winda carried away feelings.
"Den, forgive your aunt. We'll go first. Hopefully you won't forget your appointment, to bring Vani to our house" said Dr Dimas.
"Mas, I'm not leaving before I meet Vani. Deni, where are you hiding your wife? We went to your house, but your wife was not home. Bibik said, he's working with you. Then, where is he?" mama Winda asked with emotion.
"Tante, believe. At the moment, Deni can't. Forgive Deni," said Deni sadly.
"Mas, look at Deni's behavior" said Missa upset.
"Once we go home first. Deni must have his own reasons, why he has not been able to bring Vani with us. Come on," said Dr. Dimas while taking Miss Winda out.
Deni suppressed his sadness, watching the departure of doctors Dimas and Bu Winda who are now his in-laws. They seem unhappy with Deni's decision to postpone the meeting between his wife and them. In fact, Deni still did not ask Yanti for permission, whether she was ready to meet them or not.
Deni held onto his head which suddenly felt dizzy thinking about all this. She also wants to be her beloved daughter-in-law. But it must be very difficult to get it. Especially with his existence as the son of a woman who had made them suffer. Even so, the hope of a happy life with Yanti will still continue to be Deni's greatest hope today.
"Maas ...."
