A soldier welcomes the arrival of Balapati Wiriya. They respect him. Rinaya was amazed to see the treatment she received. Really an important person. Dylan just turned his gaze around. His behavior does not reflect that he is important.
"Rapathy. Please enter. Everyone is waiting for you." A guard led them to a room.
"Rapathy. Sorry to bother you. I'm Wardi. Chief of the Palace's inspection department. There's something I need to ask."
Dhika just nodded without speaking. Even a chief investigator saluted him.
Wardi "Is he...?" He pointed at Rinaya.
"True" Dhika answered briefly. "Please get straight to the point."
Unbasically. Dhika wants this to end very quickly. Being with an outsider for too long is too dangerous.
"We found this item while investigating the case in Bintuni. There are some things that attract attention."He held an id card and showed it to everyone. "The person in this picture is it really you?" He asked Rinaya.
Rinaya nodded.
"All this stuff is yours?" Ask him again. Rinaya nodded again.
"Then this" He showed me a little book with the letters of the alphabet. And there's a picture on that page. "What picture is this? Can you explain it?"
Rinaya looked at Dhika. Dhika nods her assent to answer .
Rinaya "I don't know what it is. I got a dream. And I'll draw that."
"the dream? Likewhat?"
"I don't understand either. That's like very important. Everybody wants that."
"Right now you don't have this thing?"
"No."
"Where are you from. Why can you write with this letter. Who are you."
Dhika immediately cut in and answered the question. "He's my student. I taught him all those letters."
"really? How do you know this letter is Balapati?"
"I learned it over fifteen years ago."
A subordinate whispered to Wardi then he continued his sentence. "So the rumors about Balapati Wiriya are true? Your reputation is very good. I'll ask you a few more things. You're. What's yourname?" He looked at Rinaya.
"Sadia"
"Can you explain what this thing is?" He showed me the stuff on the table. They must not have found anything else that could be made information. Sure oes. They also must have just seen the modern objects for the first time.
"Of course, sir. But after this. Can I get all that stuff?"
Wardi just smiled without saying anything.
"All right." Rinaya approached the table and started explaining them one by one. Pointing it with his hands and talking. "This is a bag. I think you know that too. Then this is a stationery. Pencils. And this is a book. Then this is my medicine box. And this is my lucky thing. Then here's my identification. And here's my wallet. All these things will be of no use to you sir."
"Why is that so."
"I always carry all this because I'm doing treatment. My medicine. I have to drink it regularly. If not, I'll go crazy. And some of this stuff...." He pointed to a box of electronics made up of powerbanks. And the headset he just called a lucky thing. "This is also for my treatment. If this. Pencils and notebooks. You can have it if you want. It was just my study when I was with Balapati. I'll have to take notes if you don't know how Balapati got angry. It's so scary"
The tip of Dhika's eyes looking at him sharply was extremely frightening. It is not a boozy indeed sometimes he can menangko anger from the Balapati although the look of the face he showed is not much different from usual.
"Then why are you hiding all this stuff."
Dhika replied immediately upon hearing that. He knew Rinaya couldn't answer that question. "He ran away when I punished him. He's hiding it because I'll recognize him right away if he wears it." A look of relief radiated from Rinaya.
"What mistake did he make to dare to run away."
"That's a question I can't answer. He made a big mistake because that's what he's with me now."
"What a woman can do. Killing people?"
Dylan smiled hearing that. Rinaya glared at him for it.
Too underestimating people. He murmured in his heart.
Dylan knew the word 'kill' was indeed suitable for Rinaya. In Dylan's heart laughed with the stupidity of this officer. He can be easily fooled. She does not know that Rinaya is the daughter of a ruthless bandit.
Dhika "Because of that I can't say. She's a woman."
Wardi walked back and forth like an interrogator. Occasionally pointing at Rinaya. Suspecting him. But the words from Balapati he could accept.
"One more thing. Why are you dressed as a man?"
Rinaya "Are You So Stupid?" At that moment, Dylan slapped his head. "aww. Why did you hit me."
Dylan "you're talking very disrespectfully. The master! he's Wiriya's student. Even under Balapati's supervision. Of course he should dress like this. There was not a single student of Wiriya's school but a male. Balapati will not distinguish the sexes. He treats the same."
"Then why a woman can be Balapati's responsibility."
Dylan replied again "He is still a relative with the Wiriya family. His family could not educate him. Until he was handed over to be educated. You can hear that sentence, right? It's not polite."
It all makes sense to Wardi. And everything seemed like a joke to Rinaya.
"alright. Thank you for taking the time to come you can take your medicine box. The rest stay here."
"What are you guys for...."
Dhika lowered her head to salute "thank you" then continued.
"Take it and we're out of here." Dhika
"But. All my stuff." Rinaya whining.
Dylan agreed with Dhika "That's it. Let them learn that. It's no use anyway." Dylan pulled Rinaya's arm away from the place.
Wardi whispered to a trusted subordinate. He kept watching the girl. They still suspect him. Especially the unique item that no one has ever had in all of Dwipantara. The only thing that makes sense is. Maybe the girl was buying and selling with foreign countries. Or something else they suspect. The eyes of foreign countries. It was just that Balapati Wiriya had already said that he was his disciple, for a while they could only trust him.
It was far away that Dhika and the others left the place. Rinaya should be able to be more careful in speaking. A little mistake may be able to uncover the identity of who he is.
Dylan "you look good. Why do you need medicine?"
Rinaya "sometimes the pain is not just from the physical. But heart and mind."
Dylan "I don't understand."
Rinaya "Yasuda. There's no point in explaining it to you."
Dylan "sometimes I don't understand. A Bandit Princess that many people feared. It turns out like this. It even looks so weak."
Rinaya "what did you say?"
Dylan "Short. Skinny. Bad personality. Your job is to whine and ask for food. It's so different from everyone's story."
Dhika smiled slightly hearing that.
Dylan "now where are you headed?"
Rinaya "you're alone?"
Dylan "i'm investigating a missing persons case near the village of Sunyi, I'll be there."
Rinaya "is a coincidence. I think I'll be there too."
Dylan "For what?"
Rinaya "I kind of found a clue. Uh. Dhikas. Yesterday's.... I may have seen it wrong, but I hope I really see it."
Dhika "look what?"
Rinaya "It's not what. But who. I'm like seeing Bayu."
Dhika "are you sure?"
Rinaya "no!!
They arrived at a large gate made of rocks. Entrance gate to Sunyi village. The gate is quite high. A wooden door was no longer visible. Now the entrance path is filled with large rocks. Can't go in and out through it anymore.
Rinaya "the entrance is closed. Did something happen? How do we get in?"
Dylan "i heard because some events eventually the path to this village was closed permanently."
Rinaya "Isn't this place safe then?"
Dhika "After the heirloom Stone is gone. There was no more illusory fog in it. But about two years ago many people entered this village but never returned. And in the hook hooks hooked up to a dog demon around here."
Rinaya "Can we go inside..." Not yet finished he spoke, Dylan quickly jumped far past that gate fortress. "wow could he do that? Great."
Dylan shouted from behind the fortress. "It seems you really should be here. Hurry up."
Rinaya and Dhika looked at each other in wonder. Curious about what's in it. Dhika approached Rinaya wrapping one of her arms around her hip. Brought him flying past the fort. It was very arriving. Rinaya wasn't ready at all. The moment seemed to move very fast but also very slow.
Like the slowmotion movement a la roman picisan. Rinaya looked at his face. Stares clash. Who could not fall in love with this beautiful man. But Rinaya doesn't see it that way. His calm face seemed to be afraid of nothing. His sharp gaze seemed ready to kill anyone. But he only saw a lonely man. A man who always held back all his feelings. Withholding all his emotions.
"Dhika's. Why did it arrive like that. I almost died of shock. Suddenly drifting makes my heart seem to break." His grunt for a moment after both of his legs landed on the side of the fortress.
Dylan "can't you do that?"
Rinaya "no!" With pouting lips she still held onto her fiercely shaking chest. Dhika seems to know all about Rinaya because that is why she immediately took the initiative.
"Look" Dylan pointed in a direction with his hand. A body stiffened. Black-eyed red. His eyes remain open. Mouth gaping. But the state of his body is fine not wrinkled like the case of a dozen years ago.
Rinaya "characteristic of it.... Is...."
Dhika looked at Rinaya then nodded slowly.
Rinaya "why is there no end."
Dhika "the formation case investigated by Mr. Budhi. All those summoning formations had already been destroyed. Even you have destroyed the one inside Goa Kulon. Maybe someone's still active or someone's making them again."
Rinaya "have there ever been a case like this in the past few years.?"
Dhika "doesn't exist!" With certainty Dhika answered.
Rinaya "why is it always a coincidence." His gum.
Dhika "what are you thinking?"
Rinaya "doesn't you think it's weird. All these events. As if he was really giving directions to everyone. That I've returned." He smiled cynically "some even saw the demon dogs all over. Doesn't everyone know that me and your baby are a rebellious couple. If they also believe Bayu has returned... I'm afraid the same thing will happen again."
Dylan "what happened?"
Rinaya "i think someone wants to make us scapegoats again."
Dhika "What about Boris."
Rinaya "I'm not sure. But I think he's part of the plan, too. You know he's never tired of looking for me for anything."
Dylan "that thing. I-i heard. You don't have it?"
Rinaya shook her head "no."
Dylan "but everyone believes it's still on you."
Rinaya "Because that's why Boris is always after me. Just leave him."
Dylan "you're not worried?"
Rinaya "no. I have my own guardian god. I just don't want to meet him. He would hurt people around me. Come you!! Let's see what's in the village."
The sun is moving west. Maybe in a few hours he'll drown. Suadana village was very cold. Even the fog still enveloped the village. Although not as close as when I first came there. There are no illusions, but there are many things that are more suspicious.
Footsteps running here and there. Dylan and Dhika were focused on that. Rinaya just followed. In Rinaya's heart was agitated. He was trying to keep pace with their increasingly fast pace chasing that step.
Something floated quickly past Rinaya. Cutting off his steps until he was stunned and stopped from his steps. An arrow stuck in the wall of a house. The arrow that was shot in front of him. Only lapse for no more than two seconds. He is separated from the others.
"Yet" whispers sounded creepy. It was as if it was right behind him. He also turned around. There's nothing there.
"I've been waiting for you." Rinaya turned around again looking for that voice. Someone was standing a few steps in front of him.
"People?" His voice vibrates. Seeing that figure.
Fifteen years passed and he did not change. Just looks more mature. With increasingly sharp eyebrows. The aura was getting more and more terrifying. With smiles and laughter chuckling like a child. "Let's play."
"....."
"You know. I really want that thing. But you lost it. I gave you an interesting game. I'm going to attack you. Cutting arm. Cutting feet. Gouging your eyes. Every single one I got. You have to tell me where it is." Confidently, he said all of that. How frightening.
A madman. What kind of game is that. Rinaya did not move listening to the word he said.
"How about we start now." As fast as lightning he raised the sword he had been carrying.
"Aahh" he retreated until he fell. Folded both hands in front of his face. Wishing to withstand that lightning strike.
Nothing happened. No one's about it. He opened his eyes to see what was going on. The sword was drawn in front of his face. But something's holding it back. A pair of hands locked him until he couldn't move.
Morang shouted. "Again you!!. You've always bothered me" now Morang's turning to attack that guy. The one who protected Rinaya.
Who her? Does he recognize me?
They attack each other and chase each other. I don't know where they disappeared to. Rinaya rushes to run for Dhika.
Rinaya screams for him "Balapati!! Dylan!! Where are you guys." He ran round and round. The longer the fog gets thicker. There was no sign of them. "Dam. Again like this." They first went to the village apart from one another. The misleading mist makes the illusion of everyone who is in it. But this time there was no illusory fog. They are real. Really intentionally set them apart from each other.
"Aaaauuuuuuuuu" the sound of the wolf howled so clearly. The sun is still bright.
Meanwhile. Dylan and Dhika are getting separated. Each of them heard the wolf howl.
