MY BELOVED KNIGHT'S

MY BELOVED KNIGHT'S
CHECKING

"Ah. I'm not used to how you guys work, because all this time I've never had a personal bodyguard, especially you're a personal bodyguard, brother Alvero who must always be ready and alert in all conditions." Tira said with a smile and stepped inside her apartment.

"Ernest, for my room, help you to check, because I don't want to carelessly enter there. My room is that!" The next words from Tira being spoken while pointing her index finger towards the door of her room made Ernest slightly stunned.

"This is the key...." Tira thrust the key in his hand towards Ernest without looking at Ernest's face, as he himself was bowing his head, looking towards the inside of the bag that was draped over his shoulder, and trying to find something in there with his other hand, so as not to realize that there was a tinge of red on Ernest's face even though it only briefly stopped by his handsome face.

To Ernest, Tira's orders just now showed how Tira who believed in him more than anyone else, caused a sense of pride in her heart.

"Good Princess...." Ernest said as he grabbed the key Tira had proffered before finally walking towards the door of Tira's room.

As soon as Ernest opened the bedroom door, a soft, fragrant smell greeted his nose, making Ernest stop his steps for a moment, and subconsciously took a deep breath to be able to enjoy the aroma of the room even more.

The aroma was enough to make Ernest's heart piqued with a chest that was palpitating because of it.

In a slow motion, Ernest turned his head into the door of Tira's room, where the interior of the room indicated that it was a girl's room, filled with soft pastel colors, and that it was a very delicate place, and various accessories that show the characteristics of the womanhood side of Tira, such as a teddy bear-shaped very large in a sitting position in one corner of the room.

Looking at the nuances of the room occupied by Tira, one can immediately guess that the room was occupied by a girl who had a gentle nature, fitting once to describe the figure of Tira, the, making Ernest's lips lighten a smile considering the beautiful figure of the princess.

With watchful and sharp eyes, as soon as Ernest stepped in, the look in his eyes instantly swept through the entire room, trying to find if there was anything suspicious there.

Ernest walked with his eyes looking around him, his hands were busy fumbling with objects he encountered, trying to check for traces of intruders or not and trying to find the presence of recording devices planted there.

Right now Ernest really did not want to miss the slightest thing that could put Tira in danger, so he thoroughly examined the entire corner of the room as well as the furniture that was in the room.

"Did you find anything Ernest?" Tira's sudden voice made Ernest immediately turn to the door of the room where Tira seemed to step into the room.

"Until now, everything I've made sure is safe Princess." Ernest said as he straightened his body that had bowed slightly as he inspected a table in front of him.

"Then I'll check the results of Steven and Edi's examination." Ernest who felt that he should not be in the room alone with Tira immediately said goodbye to Tira.

"Okay, I'm also going to change my clothes and relax a little today." Tira's words made Ernest rush out of Tira's room while holding himself back as hard as possible so as not to look back, to look at Tira.

"Is everything okay?" Tira who was already dressed in her casual clothes asked Ernest, Steven and Edi who seemed to be gathering in the living room and talked about the results of their examination of the apartment occupied by Tira.

"Everything is in Princess' safe condition, only a few objects that we think are quite strange, accompanied by letters inside." Ernest pointed to a box containing gifts from the terror who was planned to be donated by Tira.

Well, haven't I hidden those things so well? It turns out they can still find him.

Tira said inwardly as she stared at the box meant by Ernest, which had been given by Steven and Edi.

Although Tira knew Ernest and the others could not possibly dare to open the letters, but Tira could guess that Ernest would have guessed what the letter was because before his departure as his personal bodyguard, Alvero had already told her about what happened to Tira and why she needed a personal bodyguard to take care of her all the time.

"That's the stuff of the terror. Some of it I threw away, and the rest of it I plan to donate to the orphanage." Tira said to Ernest who seemed to be nodding his head whose eyes were still staring in an all-seeing manner towards the items in the box.

"If allowed, I would like to research about these objects before they are given to others, to make sure everything is fine." Ernest's request made Tira pause for a moment.

"Take it. For those letters, it seems like you also need to read them. Maybe you can find a lead from there." Tira said as she pointed her hand towards the box containing those objects.

"Thank you Princess. Edi and Steven, you guys take that box to the apartment we're gonna be in, I'll catch up with you." Ernest said as he took out an object shaped like a watch from his suit pocket.
