Chapter 32: Meeting with a client
Emma and Javier are on their way to Cafe A. It took 10 minutes to get there. Upon arriving in front of the cafe, the two got out of the car and went into the cafe.
"I ordered table number 10 Sir," said Emma reciprocated nod by Javier. They walked towards table number 10. Both arrived 10 minutes earlier at the cafe, but their clients were not there yet. After Javier and Emma sit down, a waiter comes to them and gives them a menu book.
"What message do you want, sir?" ask Emma.
"Caffe latte only" said Javier.
"Caffe latte 1 and orange juice 1" Emma said to the waiters standing next to her.
"Okay, lady, we'll drop her off soon," the waiters replied and left.
Soon waiters came to deliver their orders.
"Good fun ladies and gentlemen" said the waiters. Emma then nodded.
"Why hasn't our client arrived yet?" javier's asking isn't starting to like it. It's 10 o'clock and their client hasn't arrived.
"Please sir, maybe soon he will come," said Emma began to feel bad air in his place. Especially seeing Javier's expression.
"You know, I don't like people who aren't disciplined with their time. Didn't you tell him that" Javier said coldly.
A well-built man in black clothes walked up to table number 10 in a hurry.
"Sorry to keep you waiting" said the man in his baritone voice. That man was William. He then shook the hands of Javier and Emma. William knows if he has made the beginning of his meeting with Javier that is not good. He could see Javier's cold facial expression. Obviously he knew if Javier didn't like the word late but what to do, William suddenly had a sudden affair. Even now he was afraid that their cooperation would be canceled by Javier.
"Thank you Miss Emma, no need to bother, let me just order it" Javier said kindly to Emma.
A few minutes later, they started talking about business. Emma wrote the key points in their conversation.
After 1 hour, their conversation ended.
"Thank you for the cooperation of Mr. Javier" concluded William stood shaking Javier's hand. Javier nodded and asked Emma to return to the office.
Javier walks towards the door of the cafe, while Emma and William follow him from behind.
"Your boss is a little horrible, I don't even see his facial expression except for his cold, flat face. I'm already afraid that Mr. Javier will refuse this cooperation" Willian said slowly to Emma.
"Sir Javier is like that" Emma laughed back in light of her boss's almost never-smiling face.
"By the way, in the future does Miss Emma not mind if I contact you outside of work?," asked William who looks interested in Emma.
"I want to make friends with you" continued William. Emma then nodded.
Javier, standing next to his car, waits for Emma to see William and Emma talking while walking out of the cafe.
"How long ago" Javier said coldly and got into his car. In her heart there was a sense of resentment that Emma could laugh with William.
Emma seemed to be sighing, not poking at her boss' words. According to him, he was only 2 minutes apart with Javier arriving at the cafe parking lot.
