Chapter 33: Not liking mushrooms
At lunchtime, Emma brings her supplies and Javier's food to Javier's room. Not to forget he also took pudding from the office pantry that he kept in the refrigerator.
"Tok..but.tok.." Emma knocks on Javier's door and goes inside.
"Where's Mr. Javier.." Emma's inner self at the sight of the room being empty. Emma walked to the sofa and arranged their lunch on the table.
"Skeleton.." The door opened, Javier went into his room and saw Emma arranging his meal. Emma who heard the open door turned her head and saw Javier walking up to her and sitting on the sofa.
"Please eat sir" said Emma putting food in front of Javier.
"Miss Emma, next time don't order food containing mushroom, I don't like mushrooms" Javier said when he saw there was cream mushroom in his food.
"Sorry sir, I don't know if you don't like to eat mushrooms. I'll order you a new meal sir" said Emma, a little guilty of taking her phone off the table, wanting to reorder food for Javier. He should have asked Javier what foods he didn't like.
"No need, I'm starving now. What if you ate this and gave it to me" Javier told Emma.
"Emmm.., but my food is not as good as Mr. Javier's. I'd better get the message you just got, sir" Emma said. Who says the food Emma cooked is not good. Even if asked to choose, Javier wants to eat Emma's cooking every day.
"I'm hungry Emma, it's a waste of time to order a new one" Javier said.
"Yes sir, this is the food" said Emma gave the box to Javier. Emma hopes Javier likes her simple cooking.
Emma opened the meal, "Good meal sir" said Emma and enjoyed the meal.
Javier seemed to be enjoying his lunch, of course it was because of Emma's cooking.
"Uhukk...uhukk..," Emma spontaneously coughed in shock at her boss's question. Emma's not wrong with her, is she?, her boss asked her about her boyfriend. What's in it for Javier if Emma already has a lover or not.
"Why didn't you answer my question?" ask Javier again when Emma ignores his question.
"Why do you ask about my girlfriend?" ask Emma back. Javier is aghast at his place when Emma asks him back. He wants to answer what try. It's impossible for Javier to be blunt in front of Emma if he wishes she didn't have a boyfriend. He just wanted to make sure.
"Ahh, that's okay," Javier said quickly. Emma nodded and continued her lunch. But unlike Javier, he is still overshadowed by the question even though he is now eating back his lunch.
half an hour passed Javier and Emma had finished her lunch.
"I really like your cooking Miss Emma" Javier said.
"Thank you for the compliment sir" Emma replied.
"I want you to make my lunch starting next week" Javier said.
"Sir is joking, right...?" emma doesn't believe it.
"Since when did my words become a joke," Javier said uniting his eyebrows. He's not kidding.
"Don't worry, I'll pay for it. You just have to say it" Javier continued.
