Chapter 60: Expressing feelings
The inauguration of Javier's new hotel went smoothly. Now they're back in Javier's penthouse. Emma was holding Zio who had been sleeping since the ballroom. Javier holds Leon who is also asleep.
"Cio change clothes and wash his face, yes" said Emma lay Zio carefully on the bed.
"Okay mom" said Lucio.
Emma then opened the shoes of Zio and Leon slowly afraid to wake the two children. Not to forget the tuxedo. Emma let go so the two children could sleep freely.
Lucio who had changed his clothes joined his two brothers on the bed.
"Good night mom, dad," said Lucio.
"Good night baby, have a nice dream," Emma replies.
"Are you sleepy? I'd like to take you for a walk outside" Javier said. Emma who was also not sleepy was attracted by Javier's invitation and nodded.
"I'll change my clothes first" Emma said.
"No need, I like to see you in this dress" Javier said, holding Emma's hand. Emma blushed with Javier nodding.
"We're on foot, yes" Emma said. He wants to enjoy the nighttime atmosphere in the city of Miami on foot.
"All right," said Javier.
Even though it was late at night and it was almost 12pm, the atmosphere in the city was still bustling. Cafes, bars and restaurants still look crowded by visitors. Javier clasped Emma's hand along the way.
"They won't wake up, you don't have to worry" Javier said. She was happy to see Emma who cared so much about her children.
"Want to eat something?" ask Javier.
"No, I'm still full. At the hotel, I ate quite a lot, the food was very good" Emma laughed softly.
"Then we just buy a drink" said Javier invite Emma to buy a drink. After paying him Javier took Emma to sit in one of the seats on the side of the road.
"You know, I brought you here because I wanted to tell you something" Javier said, holding one of Emma's hands. He is not the type of romantic man, even he does not know choose a place so that the atmosphere is a little romantic when expressing his love to Emma. He is also incapable of stringing romantic words. Javier is the type of person who goes straight to the point when he wants to say something.
"I love you Emma, would you like to be my love?" javier's words left Emma aghast at her place. Javier shot. His heart was beating faster than usual. Javier looked impatiently waiting for an answer from Emma.

"Caroline.." muttered Javier let go of Emma's hand. Emma's reflexes follow Javier's gaze on a woman who has just boarded a car.
"Wait here, don't go anywhere, I have a little business" Javier said, leaving Emma behind and dismissing a taxi that had just passed. Fortunately, the taxi was empty so Javier could follow the car carrying a woman similar to Caroline.
Emma, who saw Javier leave, started to tear up. How could Javier express his feelings for her and then leave when Emma also wants to express her feelings for Javier. For a moment he was happy, but the happiness was gone quickly. Emma doesn't know who Caroline Javier said she was. This is the second time after the incident on the beach. It could be his wife or someone else. But seeing the way Javier suddenly ignores it just because of the woman. Emma concludes that the woman means a lot to her. Maybe Emma is just a place to escape because she wants to forget her wife. But if the woman is indeed his wife and is still alive, then Emma will back off. Emma was grateful that the woman survived. The kids will be very happy. He did not want to be a barrier between them. Emma doesn't want to be hated by Javier's children for taking their father away from her mother. Unable to hold it in, the clear hair began to fall soaked Emma's face.
For almost an hour Emma waited for Javier there, but until now Javier never came. Emma decided to return to the hotel.
