Chapter 78: A Visit To Denver
Today Javier brings his three children and Emma to Denver to meet Emma's family. Arriving
"Mom, is the grandma house still far away?" asked Zio who was sitting in the back seat of the car.
"No kid, we'll be here soon" Emma said. Looks like the kid is bored. From getting on a plane to now taking a car.
Soon they arrive at Emma's house. Two-story minimalist house. Not as grand as Javier's house. On the doorstep, Neina and Alberto stood up to greet them, more precisely the three little children whom they had longed for so much.
Emma and Javier get out of the car, as do the children who cheer, running towards Emma's parents.
"Grandma, grandpa.." call the three running fun.
"Hey.be careful baby." said Emma saw Zio almost fall.
"They're very happy." said Javier smiling. Emma nodded.
"Good day uncle, aunt. I'm Javier. Nice to meet you guys" Javier said. Both Emma's parents warmly welcome Javier to their future daughter-in-law. Neina even told Javier to call her mommy.
"Let's go in first, you must be hungry. Mommy had cooked a lot of food for you," Neina said to invite them into the house.
"Yeay.., does grandma cook squid too?" ask Zio.
"Of course, grandma cooks a lot of it. Special for these handsome grandmas grandchildren," Neina replied happily. They then walked to the dining table to eat the lunch that Neina had prepared.
In the afternoon the family sat in the living room while enjoying a snack made by Neina and Emma. Gabriel's sister Emma was also there because she had returned home from the hospital where she practiced.
One week later, they were home from Denver. Emma and the children are in a mini-cinema at Javier's house watching a Toy Story cartoon on a long, large sofa that can accommodate 10 people. The three children appear to be struggling beside Emma. Since their return from Denver, Javier's three children have persuaded Emma to stay at their home. And finally Emma succumbed to the children. He will stay there in 1 week. Javier decided that their marriage would be held in one week. He suggested that the wedding be held in one month. It's just that everyone's on Javier's side.
"Honey.." call Javier spoiled. Just got into that mini-cinema. Javier crawled up to the couch about to linger on Emma's thigh. But lost to Zio who sat first in Emma's lap first. Javier finally sat down next to Leon.
"Your job is done?" ask Emma.
"A little bit more, tomorrow I will continue" Javier said.
An hour later, the children were asleep. Emma then improved their sleeping position.
"Darling haven't you been sleepy?" ask Emma. Yeah, lately Emma's been calling Javier with affectionate calls sometimes.
"What is it?, you want to do something?" javier asked with a naughty smile. Of course Emma understood Javier's intentions.
"Basic bawdy," Emma throws a couch cushion at Javier's face. It seems Javier is not satisfied. Even at his parents' house, Javier always stole the opportunity to do so.
"I'm going to sleep, you're watching yourself" Emma covered herself with a blanket and hugged the children.
"Let's dong, just once," Javier laid his body beside Emma and hugged her.
"No Jav, I'm so sleepy" Emma said. Javier finally abandoned his intentions.
