My Bucin for My Husband

My Bucin for My Husband
Chapter 1

*Protect You By All Ways*

"Honey, you're not allowed to die, you're not allowed to die... Did you hear me?"

Akila, whose entire body had previously felt ice-cold, was suddenly thrust into his warm embrace. His lost consciousness was pulled back by this heart-wrenching low roar.

As her tear-stained eyelashes trembled and slowly opened, the first thing that filled her eyesight was the sight of Sean's extremely attractive face, her red eyes, and her flowing tears.

Akila was surprised, as this was the first time she had seen the man cry.

In the next moment, his bedroom was suddenly ignited with raging flames as thick, stinging smoke filled the bathroom.

"Sean, you need to get going..." Akila started coughing from inhaling smoke as soon as she opened her mouth. He knew he wouldn't make it out alive, and he couldn't make Sean lose his life with his life.

"Dear, don't be afraid. As long as I'm around, I won't let anything happen to you. I'll take you with me, we'll get out of here." After soaking the bath towel, Sean wrapped the towel around Akila's weakened body to prevent her from getting burned.

"Sean, you need to get out of here yourself. It's no use if you lose your life because of me." These words used all of Akila's energy to exclaim, yet the words were weak and her voice trembled as she uttered them.

Sean closed his ears to those words, his deep eyes dyed in deep red. The only thought in his head was that his love could not die no matter what the circumstances were.

"Don't try to run from me. In this life, or my next life, you are destined to be my wife." Sean's dominant vow was filled with desire. His arms stiffened around Akila as he comforted her with his embrace.

"Dear, don't be afraid. I'll get you out of here soon."

Sean then rushed out of the room by making large strides.

Outside, the flames licked high into the sky. Thick and sharp smoke enveloped the surroundings of the villa.

Suddenly, at this moment, a loud explosion resounded.

Sean protected Akila in his arms as the crystal lamp above his head collapsed and crashed into his back, causing him to stagger a few steps.

Fresh blood seeped from the corner of his mouth, dirtying his lips.

At the same time, this sight made Akila's eyes hurt. Her pale lips trembled, but she found herself unable to say a word as tears streamed down her face.

"Se... Sean, what happened to you?" Akila asked.

Sean gritted his teeth and endured the agonizing and piercing pain in his back. The blood vessels on his forehead bulged out but the man's arm that was around Akila's body did not loosen in the slightest, instead becoming tighter as they exited the villa.

Sean could no longer endure the pain and fell to the ground. His arms remained around the woman's body in his arms, protecting her from harm.

Her slender fingers stroked the pale face of Akila as she spoke in a voice filled with overwhelming love.

"Honey, being able to marry you is the happiest time of my life..."

At the end of his sentence, the man spat out a mouthful of bright red blood, flowing into the corner of his lips.

Akila finally regained her voice as she placed her trembling hand on the lips of the man who continued to bleed. With a trembling voice, Akila muttered, "Sean, how are you? Please don't scare me, okay?"

Sean's lips were covered in blood and spoke with the rest of his energy. "Darling, you will always be my wife, whether in this life or the next. I can't let you go, not one bit. Who will protect you if someone bullies you? I can't leave you..."

The man's shoulders suddenly slumped. Akila's mind went blank for a moment, his heart ached so much that it made it hard to breathe.

"Sean, don't worry that I'll be bullied by anyone. I'll keep you company..."

•••

Akila opened her eyes and was greeted by the familiar sight of the stained glass ceiling light, leaving her in a daze.

Akila wondered if he shouldn't be in Heaven, but why is this like the bedroom where he lives? Why is he here?.

He remembered that he died from a great loss of blood after Kanaya cut off his wrist... And that fire....

Akila raised her hand, looking at her beautiful and slender wrists smoothly without any injuries.

Is the wound gone?

Suddenly, the bedroom door opened.

Upon hearing the movement, Akila turned her head and saw Sean's slender figure enter.

His eyes were deep and dark as if there was a hibernating beast within the darkness within, waiting to be released at any moment.

Akila did not know if it was because she was overwhelmed by emotions or what, but she was temporarily stunned. All he could do was stare in a daze at the extremely attractive man standing before him.

Sean walked to the bed, his dark and mysterious eyes fixed on him. The man pursed his lips, asking, "For him, you went on a hunger strike? Do you think I'll let you go just because you did this? Don't you ever think about it."

Akila freezes. A hunger strike?

He suddenly recalled when Kanaya told him to go on hunger strikes often because Sean would let go once his heart softened.

However, behind his back, Kanaya tells Sean that this hunger strike was done by Akila for Rangga.

Sean is suddenly back as well because of the message Kanaya sent.

Sean pinched his chin with his slender fingers. His masculine scent overwhelmed him, making Akila's heart beat fast.

The man had a firm jaw, a high nasal shaft, sharp eyebrows, and the outer corners of his eyes were long and narrow. His eyes were dark and mysterious, just staring at a glance could cause anyone to instantly fall into them.

This was the first time Akila had observed Sean up close. He was stunned for a moment.

"Darling, don't think about leaving me again. Did you hear me? In this life, you are mine. And even in death, you are my ghost."

The eyes within the man were full of extreme possessiveness. His hand was clenched tightly and his slender finger segment had turned white due to his excessive strength to create such a strong grip.

Akila stared in bewilderment at the familiar face in front of her for a long time. He was afraid that the man would suddenly disappear if he winked and he would find that this was all just a dream.

After pondering over the idea, Akila leaned her body forward and gave the man a kiss on the cheek.

The kiss felt so real, Sean felt real.

Shortly after that, Sean could not resist biting his tongue. Akila realized this was not a dream when her tongue started to hurt.

He realized that this was not a dream at all.
