Sean's body stiffened. He looked at Akila in disbelief, not believing that the woman had taken the initiative to kiss him.

The man remained dazed for some time before suddenly standing up and leaving, closing the door behind him.

Akila looks at the date and time on her phone, and realizes that she has been revived and brought back to three years ago.

Sean's not dead, he's not dead. This is an amazing thing...

Akila smiled happily, but she couldn't help the tears flowing down her face because there was pain in her heart.

After some time he recovered from his excitement, got out of bed, and went into the bathroom.

When Akila saw her reflection in the mirror, she mentally cursed.

His appearance was rather sickly and disheveled. His hair was messy, his face dirty, and his eyes were sunken and red. It is impossible to take care of yourself when you feel weak, tired, and mentally unwell.

Near the eye on her right cheek was a very dark and terrible scar caused by Kanaya's abuse of facial cream when she first entered high school.

After Akila ate, Santi's aunt took care of her plate. Before leaving, Santi's aunt looked back to stare at Akila in disbelief, wondering if the woman was planning anything else.

Later, Kanaya cuts Akila's wrist and places her in a bathtub filled with water to make it look like a suicide scene to others, hiding her actions and letting her escape her murderous plans against Akila.

This retaliation was something that Kanaya would pay ten times over.

As for her marriage to Sean, her father had facilitated the entire matter because of the shares Akila had as a means to protect her.

Sean forces Akila to stay by his side so that the man can continue to protect her after her father dies.

When the villa suddenly burns down, Sean saves her, a crystal lamp falls on her and causes the man to lose his life.

At this memory, Akila felt like a part of her heart had been cut viciously by a sharp knife. It was so painful that he could not breathe.

However, what puzzled him the most was how the villa had suddenly caught fire.

Why did it happen by chance right after Sean came in?

Could there be someone who deliberately fucked up Sean's life?

Akila must figure out who this person is to change their future and prevent this from happening.

It was night time and the lights in the study room were still on.

Akila stood before the door learning hesitantly with a cup of green tea in her hand.

He had just taken a shower and was wearing a lacy nightgown. His long seaweed-like hair was unraveling and scattered on his back and there were still water droplets stuck to the end of his hair.

His hesitation lasted only a few seconds. Akila raised her hand to knock on the door twice before pushing it open and entering the study.

Sean's slender figure sat on the chair behind the table.

Upon hearing the knock on the door, the man raised his eyes and looked at the woman who had suddenly entered the study. His gaze was then fixed on the willow green tea cup in his hand and immediately his eyes darkened.

Akila walked to the table. He placed the green tea cup on Sean's right side and looked at the man. Nothing makes him happier than knowing that Sean is alive and well.
