Chapter 4's

Rio had just said those words when Sean's movement stopped in the middle of smoking.

His eyes became deep and dark as the intense feelings of possessiveness and desire that were originally buried deep in his blood began to call out to him endlessly.

The street is filled with pet shops. Every store sells pets - both common and rare breeds can be found here.

Akila would go inside every shop he passed by to see it.

He came out today because he wanted to buy a pet, which he felt he liked.

When Akila was about to break into one of the pet shops, she saw Dion suddenly appear, leaving her stunned.

As this incident had never happened in his previous life, Dion's appearance caught Akila off guard before she calmed down very quickly.

If one had to describe Dion's appearance, they would say that the man was spirited and gallant.

A warm and polite smile was always visible on his face. No one had ever seen him get angry, and he was very good at persuading people - he was able to comfort them with just one sentence.

Most women cannot resist a gentle and loving man.

Akila has been perplexed by her hypocritical appearance, but the feelings she has for the man are nothing but monkey love - they are never true love.

However, Dion was actually a cunning man. He was someone who would use immoral means for his purposes.

Dion tricked him with his sweet remarks and sweet words again and again, all because the man wanted to get the shares he owned from his father's company.

After that, when Sean appears, he is forced to break up with Dion.

Dion's promise to take him away from Sean was also just a superficial statement. The man only wanted it as a human shield. Dion thinks that Sean won't touch her because he's protecting Akila.

"Crazy, your weight's down again. Don't worry, I'll take you away from this place. I'll take you to a place where Sean can never find you." Dion's eyes were full of affection. The man reached out his hand to grab her, but Akila dodged her and retreated.

Akila inwardly sneered. 'The place where Sean could never find me? Is it in Hell?' He thought with anger.

Dion's affectionate and heartbroken look disgusted him.

"I'm doing so well now, why should I leave? I'm a married woman, so it's better if you stay away from me. You have no right to take me away from here" Akila said firmly.

"Crazy, what are you talking about? Sean forced you to do this, but don't be afraid of him. I'll get you out of there as soon as I can, trust me." Dion's gaze was filled with gentleness. If not for her experience, Akila would have fallen for her acting.

"He didn't force me to do anything. It's of my own accord." Akila's response surprised Dion. The man in disbelief, thought about how Akila had never allowed him to touch her even though they had been dating for a long time.

Akila hated Sean. How could he do this willingly?

"Crazy, did he threaten you?" Dion reached out his hand again as he said those words, wanting to hold his hand.

Kanaya, who was standing not too far away, with her phone took advantage of this situation by taking some photos.

Due to the angle of the photo, the situation looked like a reunion between the two. It was taken just as Dion reached out to grab Akila's hand.

Satisfied Kanaya was just about to send those photos to Sean she stopped. He knew that simply sending those photos would seem too deliberate.

Instead, Kanaya uploaded it to her porch for her friends to see. However, he changed the settings so that only Sean could see his post, and added the following caption:

"When I saw Akila and Dion shopping together, I guess Sean must have decided to let go..."

After uploading it, Kanaya kept her phone and looked up at Akila before she turned around and left. He did not believe that Sean would be able to tolerate what Akila did this time.

Upstairs, Sean was working on a contract when he received a phone call.

As he picked up the phone, his somewhat childish younger brother Vino's voice sounded, saying, "Sean, have you checked the WeChat homepage? I managed to teach Grandma how to use it, take a look."

"Good." Sean replies and suddenly hangs up the phone before he walks into WeChat and sees one new friend request.

After receiving it, he opened his profile.

He has a few friends on WeChat. He tried to refresh the veranda, but he did not see any new posts from his grandmother. Instead, he saw a photo of Akila and Dion together.

"When I saw Akila and Dion shopping together, I thought Sean must have decided to let go..."

Sean thought that he must have let that momentary happiness bother him.

How could she forget Akila ever told him that kissing her only made her feel disgusted?

Was he willing to endure such disgust just so that he could meet Dion?

"I trusted you this once, and this is how you tricked me?" The man's eyes were ice cold.

After getting rid of Dion, Akila passed through the entrance of the pet shop and found a pair of dark green eyes staring at her from behind the cage. A cat with dark green eyes and a pitch-black body. Its fur was dark like ink, but reflected a dazzling light under the sun.

Akila took a few steps before turning around to glance at the cat. He saw that the cat was still staring at him.

Akila turned around curiously and walked back. Cowering in front of the cage, he observed the cat.

The physicality of the cat is not much different from most other cats. The cat had shiny claws and seemed quite docile.

The cat kept looking at him, which was a bit strange.

Right now, the shopkeeper is out. When the shopkeeper noticed his interest in the black cat, he said,

"This cat has clawed some customers and I have to compensate them enough. You should consider another cat if you want to buy one. I don't have any money left to pay if this cat scratches you."

The store owner only agreed to sell the cat after Akila promised him that she would not ask for compensation.

After she paid, Akila went with the kennel, cat food, pup place, and other necessities.
