CHAPTER 14 | Is Not My Happiness
Sam walked into his office with a slightly irritated face. He loosened his tie and took off his suit and put down his chair. Sam sat down with a deep sigh then closed his eyes in a flash and tapped on the table with his finger. I really understood that Mira was quite scared at that time, the first time she heard my words like that and saw me crying was also separated from her parents. It must be scary for a kid his age.

I saw Mira playing with the little dog in the back garden happily and went back to see my parents.
“Mama papa want to talk to Reina?”

I took a deep breath while closing my eyes for a moment.
“Rein is fine with Sam ma, Rein is happy because we have Mira now”.

I endured the pain in my chest remembering that day, the day I married Sam.

I started to cry, why are my parents so selfish to me?
I tried to calm myself down and wipe my tears and control my emotions, lest Mira see me crying or she would worry.

I just kept quiet hearing my dad say. I understand their purpose is good for me, but if it wasn't for Mira I wouldn't want to live with Sam, even though I know Sam very well and love me very much.
